Rayquaza is back for another round with adidas, this time on the ZX 500. The Pokémon’s green color takes over most of the shoe, with scales worked into the Three Stripes and a Rayquaza graphic showing up on the tongue.

Hairy green suede takes over the toe, while the eyestays and heel use a shorter suede finish. Green leather fills the side panels and keeps most of the upper in one color. The biggest change comes through the Three Stripes, which feature a scale-like texture with red outlining pulled from Rayquaza’s markings.

Pokémon tongue tags come with Rayquaza graphics, adding another obvious character hit without changing the basic ZX 500 shape. Most of the theme is worked into the surface details instead, especially the mix of suede, leather, and scales across the upper.

Rayquaza has already appeared elsewhere in the larger collection, including a Megaride colorway that used scales and wing-like details around the heel. This ZX 500 is a more straightforward take, keeping the runner intact and letting the character references come through in smaller pieces.
