Salomon and Slam Jam are reconnecting with city life once again, albeit with a heavy Y2K twist this time around. Their sights are set on the Slam Jam x Salomon XA PRO 3D GORE-TEX, which has already seen an early release, but will be fully available February 24th.

At its core, the model still comes from the trail. That part stays untouched. The shift happens in how it looks and feels day to day. The mesh has been updated, the lines feel cleaner, and the overall finish comes off more wearable. GORE-TEX handles wet conditions without issue, while the 3D Advanced Chassis, EVA midsole, and Contagrip outsole continue doing what they’ve always done.

The smaller details settle in naturally. Reflective hits show up without demanding attention. The speed lacing system keeps things simple. Branding is present but stays in the background. Nothing feels overworked, and that restraint says a lot about where this design is headed.
