Action Bronson x New Balance 1890 “Cyborg Tears” Releases January 2026

UPDATE 1/19/26: Action Bronson’s New Balance 1890 Baklava is officially moving into its release phase. The drop starts with an Exclusive Access raffle on Thursday, January 22nd at 10 AM ET, before opening up to a general online release on Friday, January 23rd at the same time. Raffle sign-ups are available now, CLICK HERE.

Original Story 1/16/26:
Action Bronson will continue his collaboration with New Balance with the introduction of the Action Bronson x New Balance 1890, a silhouette developed entirely from scratch. Rather than refresh storied silhouettes, Bronson’s latest project launches with its own debut through the rapper’s unique colorways. This evolution also marks an expanded creative influence and suggests a sustainable vision for future releases.

The New Balance 1890 looks to the brand’s performance past while taking strides into new territory. Silhouette wise, the cut up midsole section pays homage to the original 2010 New Balance 2002, which was marketed as a technical flagship silhouette of the time. The addition of teardrop paneling shapes the upper into something more sculptural and artistic. Overall, the 1890 comes across as experimental when placed next to models like the 1906R or 2002R.

The two debut colorways reflect Bronson’s storytelling range. “Cyborg Tears” uses layered blues, silver accents, and synthetic textures that lean futuristic. “Hornet Tusk” shifts toward nature, pairing tan leather with open mesh that mirrors organic structures. Together, they show how the Action Bronson New Balance collaboration balances imagination with wearability.

Both pairs feature rope laces and bold branding touches that connect them visually. The Baklava New Balance 1890 pack also signals a broader rollout plan, much like earlier Baklava projects that expanded beyond footwear. That approach gives the model room to grow beyond a one-off debut.

While no official date is confirmed, Action Bronson releases typically follow shortly after teaser campaigns. Expect updates soon through New Balance and Bronson’s channels. The Action Bronson x New Balance 1890 is expected to arrive late January/February 2026 at New Balance and select retailers.

Nike GT Future Upcoming Colorways For 2026

Nike is quietly building momentum around the GT Future colorways, and the approach feels refreshingly unforced. Instead of leaning on formal campaigns, the brand has let culture guide the conversation. The early sightings, led by Wale during NBA All-Star Weekend, turned the GT Future into a statement without Nike needing to introduce it.

These upcoming Nike GT Future colorways lean heavily into sculpted metallic shells. Gold, bronze, pearl white, and deep black finishes give the silhouette a futuristic presence. The shape already feels bold, but the reflective treatments push it into experimental territory.

What stands out is how the Nike GT Future colorways mirror past moments of organic hype. It recalls how early Foamposites or Flightposites gained attention through visibility, not press releases. That connection gives this rollout more authenticity than a traditional marketing cycle.

Wale’s continued involvement has kept attention steady. His on-foot reveals have served as rolling previews, each pair adding another layer to the story. The DMV colorway felt like a cultural anchor, not just another limited design.

From a performance angle, the GT Future still reads as a serious basketball shoe. Yet the aesthetic choices show Nike testing how far visual storytelling can go within its Greater Than series. That balance between court function and cultural energy is what makes this project compelling.

The Nike GT Future colorways are expected to roll out in 2026 via Nike.com and select retailers. Some may stay in sample form, while others could see limited availability.

Nike SNKRS Instant Got’Em Golden Tickets and Care Packages Are Being Sent Out

UPDATE 1/19/26: Nike’s SNKRS Instant Got ‘Em cards are being randomly sent out again. Some users received surprise care packages and a one-time pass that guarantees a win on any SNKRS launch between January 19 and March 29, 2026 via @she_love_kicks843 on Instagram. Check your email if you’re a SNKRS member.

Original Story 1/17/26:
Nike just turned the digital rush of SNKRS into something tangible with the Nike SNKRS Instant Got’Em Golden Ticket. A small group of fans recently received emails confirming their selection, followed by a physical ticket in the mail. It added a real-world layer to a platform built on instant notifications and fast checkouts.

What makes this SNKRS golden ticket interesting is how it reflects Nike’s ongoing focus on community engagement. While the exact selection method remains quiet, the move appears connected to social activity and online participation. That approach shows how closely Nike watches sneaker culture beyond just purchase data.

The golden ticket prize is simple but powerful. Winners gain instant access to one Nike or SNKRS launch style of their choice between January 19th and March 29th, 2026. In a space driven by chance and timing, guaranteed access changes the experience entirely.

While the idea feels simple, there are a few details that shape how the SNKRS Golden Ticket actually works. It’s a one-time pass that applies to U.S. users only and can be used on Nike footwear listed in the Upcoming tab of the SNKRS app. Winners must submit their request at least three business days before the scheduled launch, and availability still depends on stock. Once redeemed, the selection is final, with no returns or exchanges offered.

Official SNKRS Instant Got ’Em Terms & Conditions (U.S.)

If previous SNKRS campaigns have felt transactional, this one feels intimate. It rewards perseverance rather than chance. And it makes the connection between brand and consumer that much stronger. Initiatives such as these allow SNKRS to transcend being an app.

More details may surface soon, but the concept already sets a new standard. The Nike SNKRS Instant Got’Em Golden Ticket runs through March 29, 2026, with access tied to upcoming launches on Nike SNKRS.

John Geiger Teaser Nike GF-1 Collaboration

UPDATE 1/19/26: John Geiger recently dropped another subtle hint on his Instagram Stories. This time, he showed the familiar cardboard shoe trees usually tucked inside Air Force 1s, but a closer look revealed a GF-1 stamp, quietly pointing to what’s coming next.

UPDATE 10/23/25: John Geiger recently revealed the Nike Air Force 1 “Misplaced Checks” on Instagram. While it’s still uncertain whether this pair is an official Nike collaboration, Geiger did confirmed on X that the sneakers are not a custom. Stay tuned for more updates.

Original Story 10/15/25:
They ain’t customs.” That’s how John Geiger set the internet buzzing after revealing what looks like a potential Nike Air Force 1 collaboration.

The independent designer, famous for his GF-01 silhouette and “Misplaced Checks” concept, first stirred up the sneaker world in 2015 with his take on Nike’s popular silhouette, adding a dose of luxury to the icon. His most recent iteration from 2017, made in collaboration with The Shoe Surgeon, reaffirmed the designer’s position as a purveyor of edgy aesthetics. However, in 2021, he was slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit by the Swoosh regarding similarities between Nike products and his own work. The following year, the parties involved reached a settlement, thus clearing the way for the artist, both from a legal and creative standpoint.

Now, the teaser from Geiger for what could be the next chapter in the storyline featuring a close-up on what appears to be a white tumbled-leather upper with Swoosh-shaped pieces in overlapping exotic textures, “Geiger” lace tips, and branded tissue paper — which are also some of the most distinctive elements of the previously mentioned work — is the sneaker culture comeback moment we didn’t know we needed.

A court battle, a settlement, and then potentially an official collaboration between Nike and the infamous independent designer? Add some art, controversy, a healthy dose of heritage, and you have a winning recipe. Still, the sneakers in question lack any direct connection to the Swoosh, but this being the online universe, the brand’s comeback could be closer than we think.

For now, stay tuned for more information as the project progresses.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “Silver Lilac” Arrives Without Heel Branding

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Silver Lilac” moves in a quieter direction, and that’s exactly why it works. The lilac suede sets a soft tone, and the taupe accents keep everything grounded. Nothing feels forced.

You notice the changes when you look closer. The branding is gone. No heel text. No lace dubrae stamp. That choice shifts the whole mood of the shoe. It feels more like a styled piece than a mass release. Almost like something pulled from a small capsule instead of a seasonal lineup.

Then there’s the stitching. Three lines instead of two around the quarter.

You can buy the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Silver Lilac” this Spring 2026 for $140 at Nike.com and select retailers.

Air Jordan 1 Low Golf “Wolf Grey/White” Releases Spring 2026

Less is more with the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf “Wolf Grey/White”, and Jordan Brand knows it. Recent releases from the Jordan Golf line have trended toward understated colorways that make sense on course and off. This upcoming release keeps things minimal and lets simplicity do the talking.

White leather sets the foundation, while Wolf Grey overlays add depth across the toe, Swoosh, and heel. The contrast feels intentional, not decorative. It recalls earlier Jordan 1 colorways that relied on balance instead of boldness.

Underfoot, the spikeless outsole handles traction duties. Jumpman-shaped pods offer grip while keeping the ride comfortable. It’s a smart blend of performance and everyday wear.

Nike Total 90 Shox Magia “Light Violet Ore” Brings Subtlety Back To Nike Football

Nike hasn’t missed a beat revamping some of their early-2000s football silos. The latest pair to get the treatment is the Nike Total 90 Shox Magia “Light Violet Ore”. Gone are the bombastic contrasts in favor of reserved details and nuance. Texture and form take precedent as the shoe pulls back from noisy tones.

Quilted leather clads the shoe in muted violet shades. Negative space helps maintain focus on the intricate molded panels. Offset stitching helps frame the upper while keeping things minimal. The final touch is a metallic silver Swoosh that offers a regulated pop of tone.

Cutouts along the sides reference the Total 90’s history with indoor football. Shox columns return down the heel, maintaining that shoe’s identity. There’s a method to toning things down like this rather than leaning into excess.

Pick up the Nike Total 90 Shox Magia “Light Violet Ore” during Summer 2026 for $180 via Nike.com and authorized retailers.

adidas ZX 8000 “Animal” Pack Shows How Materials Can Lead Design

The adidas ZX 8000 “Animal” Pack shifts the spotlight from heritage storytelling to material expression.

Rather than subtle updates, this collection leans into visual impact through animal-inspired textures that give the 1989 runner new energy. It reflects a growing design trend where texture replaces color blocking as the main statement.

Each pair keeps the ZX 8000’s performance structure intact with mesh bases, layered suede, and its molded heel cage. However, pony hair finishes and snakeskin-style panels reshape its identity. Neutral midsoles steady the look, keeping the design grounded instead of theatrical. The balance feels deliberate, not excessive.

Nike Dunk Low Goes Premium in Upcoming “Embossed Baroque” Pack

UPDATE 1/19/26: The “Fauna Brown” colorway is now available on Nike.com.

Original Story 11/28/25:
The Nike Dunk Low “Embossed Baroque” Pack reimagines one of Nike’s most recognizable silhouettes by replacing the standard smooth panels for an embossed, artisanal treatment. Nike has experimented with upscale textures in the past, but the Baroque Pack doubles down on that sculpted-leather look normally found on heritage boots and luxury accessories.

The pack comes in two clean builds. The Fauna Brown/Sail pair leans warm and vintage, using brown embossed overlays that sit nicely against the sail leather base. The mix gives the shoe a subtle, hand-tooled vibe, especially when the light hits those baroque lines. The Black/Sail option goes in a sharper direction, framing the black panels with bright sail detailing that makes the embossing even more noticeable. Both pairs finish with gold “NIKE” stitching on the heel for a small hit of flash without overdoing it.

Even with the ornate overlays, the Dunk Low shape stays untouched, which helps the pack feel familiar to long-time fans. That sweet spot between basic colorblocking and more elevated texture is what gives these pairs their own lane, as was the case with some previous premium Dunk efforts that became near-instant sell-outs.

The Nike Dunk Low “Embossed Baroque Pack” will release January 2026 on Nike.com and selected retailers.

Nike Air Max 90 Premium Valentine’s Day “Black” Now Available (January 2026)

UPDATE 1/18/26: The Nike Air Max 90 Premium Valentine’s Day “Black” is now available on Nike.com.

Original Story 1/6/26:
Nike steers clear of typical holiday color references with the Nike Air Max 90 “Valentine’s Day”. A more subdued take on the occasion, the sneaker is offered up in black.

Textured suede and patterned textile sections make up the upper with a subtle heart-pattern that becomes more apparent on closer inspection. Smooth leather detail on the mudguard maintains a recognizable look for the Air Max 90.

Branding stays intentionally quiet. The Valentine’s theme appears only inside, marked by pink heart graphics on the insoles. A fully black midsole and outsole, including the Air unit, maintain a clean profile. A red colorway is expected to follow, offering contrast later.

Jalen Williams Debuts adidas Harden Vol. 10 “Weatherman” PE

Jalen Williams debuted the adidas Harden Vol. 10 “Weatherman” PE during warmups, and the concept immediately connected to Oklahoma City. The colorway uses a heat map graphic that reflects the region’s unpredictable climate. It anchors the Harden Vol. 10 in place, not trend.

The “Weatherman” theme feels natural for the Thunder. Oklahoma sits in Tornado Alley, where storm patterns shape everyday life. adidas translates that reality into layered blues, fiery oranges, and motion-driven gradients across the shell.

The story carries history too. Kevin Durant introduced the idea with the KD 4 “Weatherman” in 2012, tying weather imagery to his childhood dreams. Jalen
Williams now extends that legacy through a modern performance lens.

This Harden Vol. 10 Weatherman PE also features Williams’ “JDub” logo on the tongue. That detail signals ownership and identity, not just branding. It gives the player exclusive real purpose.

Compared to recent Harden Vol. 10 colorways, this version feels more narrative-driven. It shows how adidas continues using storytelling to elevate performance design.

The Jalen Williams adidas Harden Vol. 10 “Weatherman” PE remains unreleased, with on-court appearances only for now.

Nike Book 2 “Peace” PE Inspired By Spike Lee’s Urban Jungle Gym Campaign

Devin Booker debuted the Nike Book 2 “Peace” PE during warmups at Madison Square Garden, and the reference was instantly clear. The colorway pulls from Nike’s legendary 1992 Air Raid and its role in Spike Lee’s “Urban Jungle Gym” campaign. That era defined how basketball shoes could carry cultural identity beyond the court.

The upper stays clean in black, letting the midsole tell the story. A vibrant, African-inspired mosaic wraps the tooling, echoing the original Air Raid 2 design language. It creates contrast that feels intentional rather than decorative, giving the Book 2 a strong visual anchor.

Details carry the message further. A peace sign appears near the heel, while “Live Together” reinforces the campaign’s original theme of unity and expression. Even Booker’s logo uses color placement that mirrors the bold graphic style made famous in the Urban Jungle visuals.

This Nike Book 2 PE feels like a continuation of Booker’s approach to storytelling. His signature line keeps referencing meaningful chapters in Nike Basketball history instead of chasing trends. That consistency makes each player exclusive feel purposeful, not random.

Compared to recent Book 1 colorways, this Urban Jungle PE leans deeper into cultural symbolism. It shows how Booker’s line is becoming a bridge between performance design and archival storytelling.

The Nike Book 2 “Peace” (Urban Jungle Gym) PE release timing remains unconfirmed and will only be seen only on court for now.

Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 5 “Quai 54”

The Air Jordan 5 “Quai 54” might just be one of Jordan Brand’s most genuine tributes to streetball culture around the world. Originally dropped in July of 2021, this pair pays homage to Paris’ iconic streetball tournament held each summer, Quai 54. As much a celebration of basketball as it is music and fashion, Quai 54 itself is identity-first. Rather than building hype into the narrative, Jordan Brand let the shoe speak for itself through storytelling and craftsmanship.

We see this start with the Quai 54’s upper which comes molded in pristine white leather juxtaposed against red TPU eyelets and translucent netting on the quarter panel. Through that mesh, a cropped Quai 54 logo appears on the lateral side, adding depth without overwhelming the shape. The reflective silver tongue features a red Jumpman, while the woven heel tag doubles down with tournament branding.

What elevates this Air Jordan 5 release is the abstract pattern across the interior lining and black laces. The motif draws inspiration from Paris’ African community, reinforcing the tournament’s roots in multicultural streetball energy. It feels deliberate, not decorative, and gives the sneaker a stronger identity than typical seasonal colorways.

The red translucent outsole completes the look with repeating Quai 54 branding. Compared to standard Jordan 5 releases, this pair carries more narrative weight and sharper contrast. It remains one of the cleaner special-edition Jordan 5 colorways tied to international basketball culture.

The Air Jordan 5 “Quai 54” released in July 2021 and is available now through resale platforms like StockX.

Nike Air Max DN8 “Black Suede” Gets A Premium Update

Stripping away flash in favor of texture, the Nike Air Max DN8 “Black Suede” takes on a sharper, more mature identity.

Instead of bold finishes, it leans on texture, balance, and restraint. Black suede overlays rest over dark mesh panels, giving the silhouette a richer, more polished identity.

This approach feels closer to past premium Air Max executions than performance-first designs. Subtle reflective accents along the lace loops and side panels add quiet contrast. Meanwhile, the muted Swoosh keeps branding controlled and deliberate.

Underfoot, the DN8 stays true to its technical foundation. The Dynamic Air cushioning system uses dual-pressure Air units running the full length. A smoked, semi-translucent housing ties the sole visually to the upper.

The Nike Air Max DN8 “Black Suede” releases Spring 2026 and will be available at Nike.com and select retailers. The retail price tag is set at $210 USD.
