Nike and Jordan Brand Open New Nike SoHo Store in NYC

Nike and Jordan Brand have opened a new temporary Nike SoHo store at 611 Broadway, creating a retail space that blends sport, style, and New York culture under one roof. Designed as a more local and flexible concept, the store will shift throughout the year to reflect major moments in the city, starting with this summer’s global football spotlight before moving into events like the US Open and New York City Marathon.

The space leans heavily into New York’s visual identity with industrial materials, graffiti details, and large-scale design touches that reflect the city’s raw creative energy. A ceiling treatment inspired by wheatpasted posters also nods to the marathon culture that has long shaped the city’s running scene, helping the store feel more connected to the neighborhoods and athletes it is meant to serve.

Nike SoHo also gives shoppers access to some of the brand’s newest product stories and services. NikeSKIMS has its own dedicated area in the store, while Nike By You lets visitors customize select footwear and apparel with exclusive graphics and accessories created by local artists, including LAAMS. A limited SoHo-only graphics pack is part of that experience, and Jersey By You will offer custom jersey personalization for a limited time.

Jordan Brand brings its own distinct identity to the store through a dedicated retail area built around basketball heritage, fashion, and New York influence. That section features curated footwear and apparel, including local NYC-themed product, while also highlighting Jordan Brand’s Brazil National Team away kit and streetwear collection, the first national football team kit to feature the Jumpman logo.

A new Jordan “Soul Tower” installation anchors the storytelling side of the space by showcasing the Jordan Public Archives, a community-focused exhibition centered on the brand’s ties to New York basketball and culture. Developed with Hood Century Modern, the experience includes archival storytelling, local photography, basketball-inspired artwork, and a custom listening station that brings in voices and sounds from across the city.

Nike SoHo officially opens April 16th in New York City, with an Artist in Residence footwear customization event scheduled for April 18th in partnership with LAAMS. The store feels less like a standard retail launch and more like Nike and Jordan Brand building a changing, city-driven hub around the moments and communities that define New York sport.

New Balance Unveils Tyrese Maxey’s First Signature Shoe, The Maxey v1

Tyrese Maxey officially has his first signature sneaker with New Balance, as the brand has unveiled the New Balance Maxey V1 ahead of his Play-In appearance. The low-top model gives Maxey his own lane at a time when signature basketball shoes continue to shape the postseason spotlight.

The New Balance Maxey V1 introduces a bold design built around movement, speed, and control. Wavy overlays sweep across the upper, while rounded pod-like shapes wrap the toe and midfoot for a more sculpted look. Black and light blue color blocking gives the debut pair a sharp on-court feel, and the large midfoot “N” logo keeps the branding clean without overpowering the design.

FuelCell cushioning sits underfoot, giving the Maxey V1 the responsive setup needed for his quick, attacking style of play. The build also focuses on traction and ankle support, two areas that matter most for a guard who relies on burst, change of direction, and constant pressure off the dribble. Subtle Tyrese branding appears on the tongue, where “Maxey” lettering and a v1 tab mark the model’s official debut.

Maxey has made it clear he wanted this shoe to reflect his personality as much as his game. The overall shape feels energetic and expressive, which fits the way he plays and the confidence he brings to the floor. Rather than playing it safe, New Balance gave his first signature model a distinct identity right away.

The New Balance Maxey V1 is expected to release later this year for $130. With playoff eyes already on Tyrese Maxey, the launch gives New Balance another major signature moment in performance basketball.

Bad Bunny x adidas Stone Slides Debut Summer 2026

Bad Bunny is heading into Summer 2026 with a new adidas slide project built around coastal inspiration, introducing the adidas Stone Slide in a five-color lineup. The pack pulls from Puerto Rico’s cave formations and beach landscapes, turning that natural texture into a molded slip-on shape made for warm-weather wear.

Five monochrome colorways make up the release, including peach pink, blue, grey, cream, and brown. Each pair keeps the same sculpted design language, with layered ridges across the strap and a rougher texture around the foam build that gives the model its stone-like character. The softer earth-toned pairs feel especially tied to the concept, but the brighter shades help push the pack into more playful summer territory.

“adidas para Bad Bunny” branding returns on the footbed, linking the slides back to Benito’s broader adidas catalog. While the BadBo 1.0 has been leading most of the conversation around his current footwear output, this Stone Slide pack shifts the focus toward something easier, more seasonal, and built for everyday off-duty use.

The Bad Bunny x adidas Stone Slide Pack is expected to release in Summer 2026 through adidas.com and select retailers. Pricing has not been announced yet, but the full set already looks positioned to become one of the more talked-about slide drops of the season.

Nike ACG Zegama Hike Debuts In Bright Green With Trail-Ready Grip

Nike is pushing ACG further into the hiking space with the Zegama Hike, a new model made for people who actually spend long days outside. It takes what worked on the Zegama Trail and reworks it for rougher ground, pairing the lighter feel of a runner with the extra support you would want from a boot. The first colorway lands in a bright green finish with waterproof ripstop across the upper, so it looks loud right away but still feels built for real weather and real trails.

ACG has trended upward in recent years being dialed in lately, and this pair checks all those boxes. Nike clearly wants to design apparel around mobility, demands of the activity, and environmental elements mother nature can bring against us. You can see that design mentality across the board from lightweight layers built to perform in the sun, wind, rain, and cold to footwear engineered to run, hike, and traverse mixed terrain comfortably without being bulky or excessive.

Nike straddled the line between trail shoe and hiking boot perfectly with the ACG Zegama Hike. It’s that in-between factor that we love about it. The stacked foam underfoot provides comfort for longer adventures, while the fit system keeps your foot planted when the trails get rough. An Vibram Megagrip outsole laces things up with grip on both wet and dry conditions.

The Nike ACG Zegama Hike will be available July 2026 via All Conditions Gear and select retailers.

Reebok Signs Lauren Betts Following National Title Run

Lauren Betts will be headed to Reebok Basketball. Honestly, feels very brand appropriate for where her career currently stands. She just won a championship, added another shiny accolade to an already impressive college career and enters the draft with the type of hype typically reserved for a select few.

Betts was selected No. 4 by the Mystics in the 2026 WNBA Draft and her overall selection never really felt like it was up for discussion. She was always going to be a top pick. She’s got obvious size at 6-foot-7 but her game is far from standing in the post and waiting for shooters to come to her. Betts seals space, impacts shots and finishes inside while making everyone around the rim miserable.

That is a real get for Reebok as it keeps trying to carve out its lane in basketball again. Betts is not coming in under the radar, and she is not being introduced as some far-off project, either. She already has the profile, the production, and the kind of presence people notice right away.

Reebok is getting a player with real momentum behind her and a chance to matter early in the pros. Betts gives the brand a young star to grow with, and the timing could not have lined up much better.

UNC Reveals Air Jordan 14 PE

UNC has a new Air Jordan 14 PE, and it arrives in a clean University Blue makeup that fits right into Jordan Brand’s long history with Chapel Hill. The pair covers the upper in light blue suede, giving the model a smooth school-driven look that immediately stands out.

Grey carbon fiber panels wrap the midsole and forefoot, while a metallic silver shank plate adds contrast through the middle. UNC branding appears inside the triangular side badge near the collar, replacing the usual detail with a team-specific hit that makes the PE status clear. Dark navy on the tongue, lining, and outsole helps balance the brighter upper without taking away from the Carolina focus.

Jordan Brand has released several retail pairs inspired by Michael Jordan’s alma mater over the years, but this version stays in true player exclusive territory. The color blocking feels more direct than past UNC-themed Air Jordan 14s, and the suede build gives it a softer, more elevated finish than a standard general release.

College-issued Air Jordan PEs have become a major part of the brand’s off-court storytelling, and UNC continues to sit near the top of that list. With more school-issued exclusives starting to surface again, this Air Jordan 14 PE adds another strong entry to that growing lineup.

The Air Jordan 14 UNC PE is not expected to release to the public. For now, this one looks set to remain exclusive to the program, but it still offers a strong look at how Jordan Brand continues to treat North Carolina with some of its best player-only designs.

adidas Anthony Edwards 3 Mule “Bliss Blue” Releases October 2026

Anthony Edwards’ adidas lineup is expanding again with the upcoming adidas Anthony Edwards 3 Mule, giving the Timberwolves star another off-court model as his signature catalog keeps growing. adidas has already been pushing more lifestyle product around Edwards, and this new mule adds another lane to that broader rollout.

A first leaked look shows the adidas Anthony Edwards 3 Mule in a “Bliss Blue” colorway with molded ridges running across the sides and Ant’s personal logo stamped on the upper. The design leans into the easy slip-on space, but it still carries the same bold shape language that has helped separate his adidas footwear from more standard team-style product.

The model appears built for pre-game, post-game, and everyday wear, which fits the way adidas has been positioning more Anthony Edwards releases beyond the hardwood. With the Superstar collection and Adifom IIInfinity Mule already part of that conversation, this pair keeps extending his presence into the lifestyle category.

The adidas Anthony Edwards 3 Mule “Bliss Blue” is currently expected to release in October 2026 alongside the Anthony Edwards 3. Pricing is expected to be $70, while pairs should arrive through adidas.com and select retailers.

ANTA KAI 3 “Mastery” Launches April 25th With Egyptian-Inspired Design Details

Kyrie Irving and ANTA keep building out the KAI line with the ANTA KAI 3 “Mastery”, a new colorway backed by a clear story and a strong visual identity. The design leans into ideas like discipline, growth, and purpose, while Egyptian-inspired details give the shoe a different kind of presence. That mix of performance and meaning has become a big part of Kyrie’s signature run, and this pair keeps that direction moving.

Tan overlays dominate the upper on the KAI 3 “Mastery”. Inspired by desert colors and ancient monuments, the sandy tan upper gives the sneaker its main aesthetic. Below that, a translucent outsole adds depth with its own colorful graphic that complements the upper design. Lotus flower graphics are used to cement the theme, tying the shoe to ideas of peace, balance and renewal subtly.

Gold accents on the tongue and heel drive that high-quality feel home even more, while feather-like details nod to Horus and transcending. KAIroglyphics worked into the outsole and heel give the pair a more personal touch, using custom symbols tied to Kyrie’s path, change, and resilience. Red and green ANTA logos on opposite sides break things up nicely and add another layer of meaning through power and harmony.

The KAI 3 has already been framed by ANTA as a shoe centered on transformation, legacy, and control, so “Mastery” fits naturally within that bigger picture. More than just another colorway, this pair carries a distinct message without losing its performance edge.

Expect the ANTA KAI 3 “Mastery” to release on April 25, 2026 for $135 USD via ANTA.com.

Alysa Liu Gives The Nike Moon Shoe OG “Midnight Navy” An Early Push

Nike is set to bring back the Moon Shoe OG “Midnight Navy” for Summer 2026, and this pair already has a solid early buzz around it. Alysa Liu gave the shoe an unexpected boost after posting an early photo on Instagram, then taking things further by wearing it in her breakout campaign. That kind of rollout gave the release a more natural spark, especially with Nike continuing to revisit older silhouettes that still carry real weight.

The Moon Shoe stays close to its vintage running roots with a dark blue canvas upper that feels simple in the best way. Decorative jagged trim along the toe box and eyestay prevent this silhouette from appearing too basic. Tri-tone suede overlays on the lateral side and heel give the build some additional dimension. White accents on the Swoosh and tongue label pop nicely against the navy canvas and the gum sole underneath ties it all together with a finishing touch we love to see on retro runners.

The Nike Moon Shoe OG “Midnight Navy” is scheduled to release May 7, 2026 for $105 through Nike.com and select retailers.

Nike ACG LDV “Brilliant Blue” and “Dark Sulfur” Releases April 23rd

UPDATE 4/15/26: Nike has confirmed that the ACG LDV in “Brilliant Blue” and “Dark Sulfur” will release on April 23rd via SNKRS for $130 USD each.

Original Story 2/26/26:
Some sneakers come back because of hype. Others return because the story still holds weight. Back in the late ‘70s, the LDV started as a distance runner, but things shifted fast. Nike pairs even ended up with a K2 expedition team, which still sounds wild today. That same unpredictable DNA shows up again with the Nike ACG LDV, now reworked for Spring 2026.

The shape feels familiar, but the build tells a different story. Nylon is still at the core, keeping that lightweight feel intact. At the same time, the upper has been reinforced in ways that make more sense for daily wear. Underneath, the tooling looks thicker and more stable. The outsole, in particular, feels ready for rougher ground without overcomplicating things.

Then the color blocking takes over. The Brilliant Blue pair hits first, with that bright Turf Orange Swoosh doing most of the talking. It’s bold, but it doesn’t feel forced. Sail tones break things up, while small yellow details keep it from feeling flat. On the flip side, the Dark Sulfur pair brings a warmer look. A Photo Blue Swoosh cuts through the upper, and pink hits add just enough contrast to keep it interesting.

Both pairs land with rugged black outsoles and ACG hits at the heel. Inside, the graphic insoles quietly reference the model’s expedition past. Nothing feels overdesigned, which ends up being the strongest part of the update.

The Nike ACG LDV releases April 23, 2026 via Nike.com and select retailers. The retail price tag is set at $130 USD each.

Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Lakers” Releases Summer 2026

The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Lakers” has surfaced as another standout entry tied to Kobe Bryant’s expanding “Draft Day” story. While the broader pack honors teams that passed on him in 1996, this pair shifts the focus to the franchise that ultimately became his basketball home and helped define his legacy.

A bold University Gold upper gives this version a much louder look than the cleaner white-based pairs already linked to the collection. Fierce Purple lands on the Swoosh, while the leather build adds a richer finish than the standard formula seen on other rumored “Draft Day” releases. Underfoot, a marbled outsole brings even more energy and helps separate this pair from the rest of the set.

The design matters because it breaks away from the expected pattern. Instead of following the same team-color template attached to the other pairs, the Kobe 4 Protro “Lakers” leans fully into Los Angeles colors and feels more like a tribute to Bryant’s career arc than a simple draft reference. That makes this one feel bigger than just another pack addition.

The Charlotte Hornets are still expected to receive their own Kobe 4 Protro connected to Bryant’s original draft position, so the Lakers version may end up standing apart from the rest in both concept and rollout. Early details suggest the shoe could either join the wider “Draft Day” lineup or release on its own.

Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Lakers” Release Date

The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Lakers” is currently expected to release in June 2026 at select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $190 USD.

Nike Honors LeBron James’ 2015-16 Cavaliers Title Run With Commemorative Jersey Set

Nike is revisiting one of LeBron James’ defining career moments with a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey set inspired by the 2015-16 championship season. Official images show a black Swingman-style jersey and matching shorts finished with gold and wine accents, echoing the look and feel tied to that historic title run.

The jersey keeps things clean with a large Cavaliers “C” logo across the chest, LeBron’s No. 23 on the front and back, and James lettering across the rear. A special signature patch near the hem highlights the commemorative angle, directly referencing Cleveland’s 2015-16 season and giving the piece a more collectible feel than a standard team issue.

Matching shorts continue the same theme with black mesh construction, gold trim, and classic Cavaliers branding on the leg. The overall setup feels rooted in the era without copying the exact on-court uniform, instead translating that championship identity into a more wearable retail format.

Nike appears to be using the release to honor the 10-year window around Cleveland’s unforgettable 3-1 Finals comeback, still one of the biggest moments of LeBron’s career. That timing would point to a June launch, though official release details have not been announced yet.

This Cavaliers commemorative jersey set adds another chapter to Nike’s ongoing LeBron storytelling, this time centered on the season that delivered Cleveland its long-awaited title. More release information should surface soon.

SPUNGE Osmosis “Merlot” Arrives With The Return Of “Mung” On April 16th

Salehe Bembury is pushing SPUNGE forward with two fresh Osmosis drops, introducing the new “Merlot” colorway while bringing back “Mung” for another run. The latest release keeps the spotlight on Bembury’s growing independent label and its effort to carve out a distinct lane in the performance-lifestyle space.

The SPUNGE Osmosis was built to handle everyday movement with a comfort-first design, backed by Bembury’s signature SQUISH TECH cushioning. “Merlot” leans into a deep mix of brown and purple tones for a richer look, while “Mung” returns in its familiar teal and auburn combination that first landed last October. Both pairs continue the model’s mix of bold color storytelling and functional wearability.

SPUNGE is also rolling out the release with a campaign titled Shoes To Do Stuff, a video-driven concept that turns ordinary routines into something more expressive and visually curious. The idea plays into how the Osmosis is meant to fit naturally into real life, not just moments tied to sport or performance.

Bembury describes the project as a reflection of how people actually move through their day, with comfort and versatility leading the way.

The SPUNGE Osmosis “Merlot” and returning “Mung” are set to release on April 16, 2026 through beaspunge.com and select global retailers.

Union LA x Nike Dunk Low Set For Fall 2026 Release

Union LA is reportedly returning to the Nike Dunk Low for Fall 2026, bringing fresh energy to a silhouette that looks ready for a more selective release run. Early leaked imagery points to a black-based pair with bold yellow stitching and Union branding on the tongue, giving the project a familiar mix of understated color and recognizable collaborator detail.

Two colorways are currently tied to the release. One is listed in Off Noir, University Gold, and Dark Ash, while the second carries a Bamboo, University Gold, and Light Cream mix. Only one early image has surfaced so far, so most of the design remains under wraps, but the first look suggests Union could be taking a more stripped-back approach instead of going overly loud.

Nike’s timing here is worth watching. The Dunk Low has spent years flooding shelves, but the brand has been signaling a pullback as it shifts the model away from oversaturation. That change creates more room for stronger collaborative drops, and Union’s name still carries enough history to make this one matter, especially for longtime fans of the partnership.

This will mark Union’s second run with the Dunk Low after its 2022 “Passport Pack”, a project that landed near the height of the model’s recent wave. While Union’s latest Nike projects have not always generated the same reaction as some of its earlier hits, the label still knows how to command attention when a new collaboration surfaces.

Wales Bonner x adidas Spring/Summer 2026 Collection Releases April 17th

UPDATE 4/15/26: More Wales Bonner x adidas Spring/Summer 2026 pairs have surfaced, including a woven adidas Karintha and a brown mesh Adizero Adios. The full collection is set to release globally on April 17th through adidas.com, CONFIRMED, and select stockists. Scroll down to see the campaign and official images of every style.

Original Story 4/10/26:
Wales Bonner is coming back around with another adidas lineup for Summer 2026, and this one feels especially loaded. The Gazelle Indoor and Karintha are both getting new looks, and neither feels like filler. The Wales Bonner adidas Predator will still pull plenty of attention, but these pairs have enough going on to stand out on their own and make this collection feel deeper.

The Wales Bonner x adidas Summer 2026 Collection are where things get really interesting. One version mixes brown leather with a snakeskin-style base, which gives the shoe a richer look without making it feel too precious. The other pair takes a moodier turn. Pony hair covers the upper, off-white stripes break it up, and the rope laces help push the styling further. Croc-like hits on the tongue and heel pull it all together.

The Karintha is back as well, and that should not surprise anyone who has been paying attention to Bonner’s run with adidas. This time it shows up in black and white leather options, both finished with brown toe caps, blue lining, and rope laces. That combination gives the model a little more attitude. It also keeps the shoe from feeling like just another clean adidas casual release.

What makes this collection land is how natural it feels. Nothing looks forced, and nothing feels like it was done just to be different. Wales Bonner keeps taking familiar adidas shapes and nudging them into a more refined space through texture, color, and small details.

The Wales Bonner x adidas Summer 2026 Collection is expected to release April 17, 2026 through adidas.com and select retailers.

Devin Booker Unveils Nike Book 2 “Sunburst” PE During Play-In

Devin Booker brought a fresh Player Exclusive to the floor for the Play-In, debuting the Nike Book 2 “Sunburst” PE in a strong Phoenix Suns-inspired color scheme. Even with the Suns taking a tough loss, the new pair quickly stood out thanks to its rich purple base and bright orange accents.

The Nike Book 2 “Sunburst” PE keeps Booker’s next signature model looking sharp and game-ready. A textured purple upper gives the shoe a molded, almost rugged feel, while orange lands on the Swoosh, lace details, tongue branding, and heel pull tab. An icy outsole finishes the pair with a clean contrast that helps the colors pop even more.

Phoenix energy runs through the entire design, making this one of the more natural PE colorways tied to Booker’s on-court identity. The mix of purple and orange is instantly recognizable, and the low-cut shape keeps the model in line with the sleek performance look that helped make his first signature shoe such a hit.

The Nike Book 2 “Sunburst” PE has not been confirmed for a retail release. That said, early Devin Booker pairs have shown that exclusives can always turn into public drops later, so this one is still worth watching closely.
