Roland x New Balance Numeric Tiago Lemos 808 Lite Releases August 8th

Roland and New Balance Numeric are back with another drop of their Tiago Lemos 808 Lite, honoring the legendary TR-808. First introduced in 2024 and sold out quickly, this updated 2025 edition celebrates both skateboarding and electronic music.

Released to coincide with Roland’s annual “808 Day” on August 8, the Numeric Tiago Lemos 808 Lite 2025 edition is all about celebrating Roland’s TR-808 Rhythm Composer. In regards to the color scheme, the overall aesthetic is black, with splashes of orange, red, and yellow details. A combination of suede, mesh, and leather make up the upper. Naturally, the Numeric’s “N” logo is also decked out in all the gradient goodness. Further up the heel, you’ll find an embroidered “Rhythm Composer” tag. A patch will attach to your laces, and this detachable Roland drum machine keychain serves as the pair’s sneakerwood.

Performance-wise, the New Balance Numeric 808 Lite was designed with skating in mind. You get the usual FuelCell cushioning, NDurance outsole rubber, and of course, tips from Tiago himself about durability and how the shoe feels on a board. While the translucent sole is purely stylistic, they kept traction in mind when producing the sole cup.

It’s not often that you get to see music history and skate culture seamlessly come together in a single silhouette like this. On the board or off, this pair is sure to make some noise. With this re-release, it’s clear the 808 legacy still bangs in more ways than one.

The Roland x New Balance Numeric Tiago Lemos 808 Lite releases August 8, 2025 at select skate shops and NewBalance.com for $115 USD.

Original Story 6/20/25:
Welcome to Miami—where basketball shoes wear sunglasses. The Nike GT Hustle 3 “South Beach” brings the beach right to the blacktop.

This sneaker pairs a cool grey engineered mesh upper with tropical teal and pink accents that pop like a poolside piña colada. The ombré Swoosh looks like it just came from a sunset photo shoot, while the speckled laces scream spring break energy.

Beneath the surface, you’ll find serious tech. Zoom Air pods in the forefoot and heel provide bounce like your favorite hype song. The minty green outsole not only turns heads but grips the hardwood tighter than a lifeguard’s sunscreen.

Look closer, and you’ll spot “AIR” branding along the midsole with a soft teal fade. The plush heel padding ensures your ankles stay cozy—even if your crossover leaves defenders dazed and confused.

The tongue features bold “GT Hustle 3” branding in pastel colors that look straight from a neon Miami sign.

Nike ReactX Rejuven8 Appears in “Pink Spell”

The Nike ReactX Rejuven8 “Pink Spell/Bordeaux” is the newest must-have slip-on for Fall 2025.

The Rejuven8 is a comfortable clog that will make a statement. The sculpted foam upper transitions from vibrant pink to a deep bordeaux. To further enhance this vibrant aesthetic, the Nike logo is rendered in a soft matte black. A full-length opening on the toe is covered in ventilation-perfect perforations and a full-length ReactX foam midsole provides functional support.

The rippled sides are a subtle reference to the technological silhouettes in Nike’s past. The Swoosh itself is less vibrant than usual, following the muted aesthetic of the rest of the silhouette. RSVP Gallery x Brooks Caldera 8 “Trench” Releases August 2025

UPDATE 8/4/25: Official retailer images of the RSVP Gallery x Brooks Caldera 8 “Trench” have surfaced. German sneaker retailer 43einhalb has the release scheduled for August 15th, priced at €160. With visuals now live, anticipation is building for this upcoming Brooks Caldera 8 collaboration. Stay tuned for more release info.

Original Story 6/10/25:
The RSVP Gallery x Brooks Caldera is lacing up for the runway—and possibly your next style upgrade.

Brooks is stepping off the trail and into the lifestyle lane, thanks to a slick collab with Chicago’s own RSVP Gallery. Co-founded by Don C and the late Virgil Abloh, the boutique is known for mixing high fashion with street heat.

This time, they’re giving the Brooks Caldera a full makeover. The result? A khaki-colored trail runner with ripstop panels, a reworked heel, and RSVP branding on a sleek black TPU badge. It’s like your favorite hiking shoe decided to crash Fashion Week—uninvited but looking fly.

Even with the style updates, this sneaker keeps its chunky DNA Loft midsole. Translation: comfort that says, “I could hike, but I’d rather flex.” The textured tooling and earthy tones only add to the outdoors-meets-runway appeal.

Don C teased the collab on Instagram, sparking hype faster than a Parisian espresso. He’s also set to appear on a Brooks panel at Paris Fashion Week on June 25, where the official launch will likely be announced.

The RSVP Gallery x Brooks Caldera 8 proves trail shoes can stunt, too. Fashion-forward and ready for any terrain—don’t sleep on this drop.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Voltage” Returns Summer 2026

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Voltage” is set to return for the first time since its original 1997 release, dropping in Summer 2026. Staying true to form, this iconic retro will arrive in its signature Black and Voltage Yellow colorway.

The 1997 OG was a molded black Foamposite shell, highlighted with bold yellow Swooshes on the side, toe, and outsole. Bold neon yellow stripes on the tongue and heel tabs gave the sneaker its aggressive style, making it one of the standout Foamposites of the original drop. Released alongside other iconic colorways such as the “Pearl” and “Metallic Silver,” the “Voltage” cemented itself as a legendary early Foamposite wave colorway.

While early leaks and rumors pointed to a “Blackout” colorway, those have been refuted by sources such as @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Market Romania, who have indicated that the 2026 colorway will be a direct recreation of the OG. The pair is also expected to drop with retro packaging and OG detailing.

The “Pearl” colorway, as well as the OG “Pine Green”, are both expected to drop late 2025, making this upcoming Foamposite run one of the most anticipated in recent memory. The “Voltage” has always been one of the more popular colorways due to its bold color blocking.

Sneaker Talk: Nike SB Dunk High “Pee Wee Herman”

In 2007, Nike SB dropped one of its most controversial and culturally loaded releases to date—the Nike SB Dunk High “Pee Wee Herman”. A part of the brand’s infamous “Fallen Heroes” pack, the shoe paid tribute to Paul Reubens’ iconic character and his public downfall in the early ’90s.

The design was directly inspired by Pee-wee’s signature suit. It features soft grey suede overlays and crisp white leather on the toe box. A red tongue tag nods to his trademark bow tie, while the clean white mesh tongue mirrors his shirt. But the real story lies inside: the insoles depict a lone cartoon Pee-wee sitting in a row of theater chairs—referencing Reubens’ 1991 arrest that effectively derailed his career.

Nike SB’s bold storytelling wasn’t just about aesthetics. It touched on pop culture moments that made waves, even the uncomfortable ones. That’s what makes the Nike SB Dunk High Pee Wee Herman so unique. It’s subtle on the outside but loaded with narrative for those who know.

Resale Availability

Today, the pair is one of the more elusive SB Dunks from the era. Originally released under style code 305050-004, it has never seen a retro. If you’re lucky, you’ll find a pair on resale platforms like StockX-but prices vary wildly based on condition and size.

For collectors, this shoe isn’t just a nod to a pop culture figure—it’s a snapshot of Nike SB’s fearless storytelling era.

HOKA Speed Loafer Releases August 7th

The HOKA Speed Loafer collection gets an update this summer with two new sophisticated styles. The hybrid loafer, which merges the easy slip-on of a loafer with HOKA’s trademark large, trail-ready midsole, now comes in “Walnut” and “Birch” colorways.

The “Walnut” shade is more formal, with dark brown leather and tonal suede to finish off the dressier look. In “Birch,” the brand opts for a softer beige leather against dark black suede, for a clean and light contrast.

The new colorways also feature the tasseled upper, Vibram outsole and substantial cushioning you’d expect from a HOKA, further blurring the lines of performance and lifestyle. The all-black model launched last fall, so these new hues of “Walnut” and “Birch” give you a similar look with a slightly different twist.
