Women’s Nike Runtekk Inspired by the Y2K Era

Nike Sportswear will be introducing a new women’s lifestyle model in 2023 called, the Runtekk, which is inspired by running models from the late 2000s (Y2K-era). The shoe will be part of the brand’s upcoming Fall 2023 lineup followed by more color option coming in Spring 2024.

This offering of the Nike Runtekk arrives in a clean Summit White and Metallic Silver color blocking. While having elements of early runners, the shoe features a White open mesh upper with Metallic Silver leather overlays and semi-translucent cages. A 3D-like approach is used on the Swoosh logos while sitting atop a chunky sole unit to give the shoe a modern aesthetic. The Runtekk will be available in women’s sizing ranging from 5 to 16.5.

Reebok The Blast “Lakers” Releases May 19th

This past March, Reebok announced the return of its iconic The Blast basketball sneaker, a polarizing model from the brand’s mid-90s Mobius footwear collection that offered a range of performance athletic shoes all designed within the theme of continuous motion. In 2023, The Blast remains one of the most compelling and historic basketball sneakers to ever hit the hardwood.

Defined by the model’s imaginative, eye-catching sidewalls, this offering of the Reebok The Blast nods to the California Purple and Gold, while carrying forward OG design elements including a mesh-leather upper, unique integrated midsole-outsole, Hexalite cushioning underfoot, and more.

The shoe is also a nod to Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Van Exel, a former brand athlete that regularly wore The Blast in the mid-late 1990s.

Nike Sportswear tends to have fun with their kids-exclusive releases as we take a look at the latest colorway to surfaces. For this Air Force 1 Low release, the brand has decided to rework its iconic logo.

Dressed in a two-tone White and Aquatone color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Force 1 Low comes constructed in a full leather base with mesh tongue and inner lining. Jayson Tatum’s first signature shoe with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Tatum 1, officially made its debut on April 7th with the “Zoo” colorway. Following the release of the “St. Louis”, the “Barbershop” colorway will be launching in May 2023.

Dressed in a Coconut Milk, Metallic Gold, Black, Laser Blue, and Bright Crimson color scheme. This offering of the Jordan Tatum 1 is inspired by the confidence Tatum feels whenever he gets a haircut. It comes constructed in a lightweight mesh upper with padded collars for ankle support. It features a lightweight TPU frame that revues excess weight, while having an uncaged Zoom Air bag in the forefoot to produce high energy return without sacrificing court feel. Nike’s updated Air Max Plus, the Air Max Terrascape Plus, was originally introduced in 2022. For 2023, the new silhouette returns arriving in an “Olive Green” colorway making them perfect for Fall 2023.

This edition of the Nike Air Max Plus comes constructed with recycled polyester on its upper and outsole that’s comprised of 10 percent Nike Grind, a material the brand makes from factory waste and recycled shoes. The shoe features a heel bubble very similar to the Air Max 270, while having a breathable mesh build wrapped with a synthetic leather mudguard.
