UK-retailer size? and adidas Originals have joined forces once again to release a pair of Mexicana styles to pay homage to one of the biggest days in the Mexican calendar, Cinco de Mayo translates as the “Fifth of May,” referencing the celebration which marks Mexico’s victory over the French Empire in 1862.

Both pairs are dressed in vibrant colors, much like the city streets of Mexico during the yearly holiday, transporting the rich hues onto an authentic, streamlined adidas Originals silhouette.

Each of the adidas Mexicana arrive in head-turning hues of Red, Purple and Green, and Purple, Red and Yellow each commanding attention. The uppers are suede-wrapped with premium leather accents, while Golden foil Mexicana branding sits proudly on the laterals and Gum rubber soles deliver that nostalgic terrace appeal to each pair.
