As a follow up to the DTLR-exclusive “Glow” colorway – which glows-in-the-dark, New Balance will be adding to their 9060 lineup with this upcoming inline “Castlerock” makeup for the summer months.

The shoe itself takes elements sourced from classic 99X models with a warped sensibility inspired by the proudly futuristic, visible tech aesthetic of the Y2K era.

This offering of the New Balance 9060 arrives in a mix of Grey tones covering its entire upper constructed with mesh and premium smooth nubuck materials. Other details includes muted Blue accents on the leather tongues, “N” logos and portion of the midsole. A two-tone dual-density midsole with ABZORB and SBS cushioning atop a diamond outsole pattern inspired by classic 860 completes the design.

Neighborhood x adidas NMD S1 Boots Releases June 16th

In addition to the NMD S1 Knit, Japanese streetwear label Neighborhood and adidas Originals will also be releasing a collaborative take on the NMD S1 Boots that takes inspiration from engineered motorcycle boots.

Dressed in a Core Black and Cloud White color scheme. This offering of the Neighborhood x adidas NMD S1 Boots come crafted with a leather suede upper, moccasin stitching and details adding in an unexpected element. In addition to the Nike LeBron 20, the LeBron NXXT Gen is also part of LeBron James’ current signature rotation. Adding to the lineup is this new “Black/White” colorway of the latter silhouette arriving for the summer months.

Dressed in a Black, White, and Medium Soft Pink color scheme. This offering of the Nike Zoom LeBron NXXT Gen features a Black mesh base with leather overlays on the medial heel and tongue labels. Other details includes White Swoosh logos, “Nike” and “LBJ” branding on the tongues, and rubber outsole with exposed stitching on the medial Swoosh. The Japanese streetwear label, Neighborhood, is no stranger to collaborating with adidas Originals. For 2023, the two brands come together to release a special edition adidas NMD S1 Knit arriving in a “Core Black” colorway.

Similar to past collaborative release, this offering of the Neighborhood x adidas NMD S1 Knit comes dressed in a Core Black, Bone, and Cloud White colors scheme. It features a circular knitted upper with zigzag line stitching, translucent TPU Three Stripes and reflective laces. A mark of the partnership, adidas and Neighborhood logos are detailed throughout. Martine Rose Previews Nike Shox R4 Colorways For Spring/Summer ’24

Following the three colorways that released back in 2022, the London-based designer Martine Rose is getting ready to release a trio of new color options of her Nike Shox R4 collab.

These Martine Rose x Nike Shox R4 styles were debuted at London Fashion Week during her Spring/Summer 2024 presentation. Each shoe features the collab’s signature elongated, pointy toe box constructed in a Foamposite-like moulded material atop its Shox platform in the heels. One comes with a paint splatter graphic, while the other two sport a gradient design. Other details includes co-branding on the tongues and insoles, 3M reflective detailing housed in special packaging.

Bodega x New Balance 610 “The Trail Less Taken” Releases June 14th

Coming fresh off collaborations with Saucony, adidas, and Vans, the Boston-based sneaker boutique Bodega has teamed back up with New Balance to release their own take on the 610 model. The silhouette recently took part of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “Beneath the Surface” Pack that debuted back in April 2023.

This offering of the Bodega x New Balance 610 dubbed, “The Trail Less Taken”, heavily inspired by outdoor adventures. It comes constricted in a mix of mesh, suede, hairy suede, and leather materials giving off a nice premium feel. The shoe is highlighted with Blue and Purple contrasting accents adding for a nice pop of color while having Grey shades and Black detailing. Trail-inspired laces, pull tabs in the rear, with Bodega branding likely used on the tongues and insoles completes the design. The shoe also comes with a co-branded hangtag housed in special packaging furthering the theme.

MSCHF is back with their latest creative sneaker release, the Big Red Boot, which are cartoon boots for a cool 3D world.

Cartoonishness is an abstraction that frees us from the constraints of reality. This offering of the MSCHF comes fully dressed in all-Red constructed with a TPU rubber shell with an EVA foam rubber sole with MSCHF branding underfoot.

Better Air Jordan 6: “UNC” or “Electric Green”

Originally released in 1991, the Air Jordan 6 was designed by Tinker Hatfield. Aside from the original releases, there have been some popular non-original colorways to hit the market.

Released in December 2017, the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” nods to the University of North Carolina’s national title earlier in the year. It features a Black nubuck upper with University Blue contrasting accents on the tongue, Jumpman branding, lace toggle, pull tab, and signature midsole atop a translucent outsole.

The Air Jordan 6 “Electric Green” was released in June 2021, and also sports a classic two-tone color scheme nodding to the Oregon PE colorway that was first seen in 2018. It features a Black nubuck upper with pops of Neon Green on the tongue, Jumpman branding, lace toggle, pull tab, and signature midsole atop a translucent outsole.

Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 10 “Shadow”

Back in 2018, Jordan Brand released a true retro version of the Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” honoring the original 1994 release.

The silhouette itself was designed during Michael Jordan’s first retirement by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, and was worn by MJ as he made his return to the NBA.

Dressed in a Dark Shadow, Black, and True Red color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 10 features a Black tumbled leather upper with Dark Shadow nubuck. Highlighting the shoe are True Red contrasting accents on the heel Jumpman and outsole as well as used on the insoles. A Black and Grey outsole commemorates Jordan’s career highlights completes the design.
