The date holds major significance for basketball fans. April 13th marks the anniversary of Bryant’s legendary final NBA appearance with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2016, when the five-time champion delivered a historic 60-point performance in his last professional game. Dressed in a bold Dodger blue finish, the pair pulls clear inspiration from the team’s classic uniform colors. Grey and white Swooshes run across the side panels, nodding to the home jerseys, while red baseball-style stitching near the heel adds the detail that really drives the concept home. That contrast gives the sneaker a sharper identity and keeps it from feeling like just another simple team-themed colorway.

Newly surfaced images also provide a better look at the shoe’s finer details. According to @KicksFinder on X, the upcoming SLAM x Nike Basketball lineup is set to include the GT Cut 4, Zoom Hyperflight, and the newly introduced Sabrina 4. SLAM’s signature “S” logo appears across each pair, tying the collection back to its editorial roots. The sneaker pays tribute to Melo’s time at Oak Hill Academy, the Virginia basketball powerhouse that helped shape his path before college and the NBA. Jordan Brand used the school’s signature colors to build the look, dressing the Air Jordan 13 in a mix of black, University Gold, and University Red. The upper combines nylon, leather, and suede, giving the shoe layered texture while staying true to the model’s classic shape.

What made this pair stand out even more were the personal details. The right sockliner featured “Class of 2002,” directly referencing Carmelo Anthony’s graduating class, while the left included his personal Melo logo. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Banned” is destined to take center stage this May 2026. This colorway rewrites the black-and-red story that has been a constant in sneaker history. The color combination uses the classic “Bred” recipe but it’s the bright red X detail on the heel that gives this piece a finishing detail that is unseen on any OG Low.

Jordan Brand’s decision to revisit the Banned narrative taps into a mythology that has lived far beyond the court. The upcoming colorway will have premium suede uppers in Light Orewood Brown with soft Pink Foam for the heel tab and outsole branding. Creamy white midsole and traditional gum bottoms. This shoe gives you that vintage, subtle ’90s skate-shop vibe.

Taking inspiration from the classic silhouette, Nike filters the recognizable Air Max 90 through the styling of the Tiempo. The upper leans on white leather, which gives the shoe a clean starting point before the darker shades begin to take over. Not every retro runner needs a loud colorway to grab attention. Some pairs get there off shape, texture, and the way everything is pieced together. That is the lane this one takes, as the New Balance 2010 “Grey/Silver” shows up with a familiar early-2000s running feel that still looks easy to wear now.

White open-hole mesh handles most of the upper, covering the toe box, side panels, and parts of the collar. That gives the shoe a breathable base, while metallic silver overlays bring in the flash. The Air Jordan 5 “White Metallic” is officially set to return in April 2026, bringing back a clean classic with a key update. Originally released in 2000, this version stays true to its roots while adding a detail longtime fans have been waiting for—Nike Air branding on the heel.

Dressed in a White, Metallic Silver, and Black color scheme, the sneaker keeps its signature look intact. A smooth white leather upper pairs with translucent mesh panels, while the reflective silver tongue adds that classic shine. Black accents land on the Jumpman logo and inner lining, while the midsole features silver flame detailing. An icy blue outsole finishes the design, keeping it consistent with past releases.

This marks the third time the “White Metallic” colorway returns in high-top form, following drops in 2000 and 2015. A low-top women’s version also appeared in 2006, though it lacked key OG details. For 2026, Jordan Brand updates the side “23” with a more vintage-inspired font, giving it a closer connection to the original Air Jordan 5 aesthetic.

The biggest change is the switch from the Jumpman to Nike Air on the heel, a move that aligns with recent retro releases focused on OG accuracy.

The Air Jordan 10 “Red Steel” is set to return in Spring 2027, bringing back a mid-2000s release that has stayed on collectors’ radar for years. The Air Jordan 14 “Chartreuse” is set to return in Spring 2027, bringing back one of the more overlooked Jordan retros from the mid-2000s. First released in 2005, the colorway built its reputation through a bold mix of Light Graphite and bright green accents that instantly separated it from the model’s more traditional looks. Jordan Brand has been digging deeper into its archive lately, and this pair fits that direction perfectly.

Light Graphite suede is expected to cover most of the upper again, giving the shoe its soft, understated base. Chartreuse Green details then break through on the branding, heel, and outsole, while black works across the midsole, heel, tongue, and much of the rubber underfoot. That contrast is what made the original pair stand out, and it still feels different compared to most Air Jordan 14 releases.
