Sleeping Beauty Inspires The Disney adidas Samba Jane

Disney and adidas Originals are revisiting Sleeping Beauty for an upcoming kids’ release centered on Princess Aurora. The new Samba Jane is expected to be part of a wider Disney Princess collection planned for August 2026.

Pink covers most of the shoe, but the design does more than rely on color alone. Lace panels and floral patterns pull from Aurora’s dress, while the low-profile Samba shape stays mostly intact. Instead of the usual tongue and laces, adidas added a patterned strap across the top of the foot, giving the model its Mary Jane-style construction.

The most overt reference is located near the toe, which features a bright pink rose that alludes to Aurora’ Briar Rose persona. Stamped along the lateral side of the shoe is gold Disney branding, and the bottom of the shoe features an image of the princess on the footbed. Even the shoebox receives custom treatment with tissue paper covered in Sleeping Beauty-themed artwork.

The Disney Princess Aurora x adidas Samba Jane will be available in kids’ sizing during August 2026.

Nike Reveals The First 3D-Printed Sneaker From Its AirWorks Program

One of the first ideas to come out of Nike’s new AirWorks program has surfaced through Motoi Hatsuki, the Tokyo creative behind Blue Room vintage store. His concept, developed with Zellerfeld, offers an early look at how 3D printing could be used to push Air Max design in a different direction.

The shoe is made as a single 3D-printed piece, with the upper and sole flowing together instead of relying on the usual layered construction. Its shape brings the Air Max Tailwind V to mind, especially through the sculpted openings under the forefoot and heel. Those visible Air sections give the pair a recognizable Nike connection, even with the rest of the design moving well outside the brand’s usual production methods.

Hatsuki was one of eight creatives invited to take part in the first AirWorks program. Nike brought participants from Beijing, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, New York, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo to its Beaverton headquarters, where each person worked alongside designers and engineers on an original footwear concept.

The group also spent time inside several parts of Nike’s design network, including the Air Manufacturing Innovation facility, the Department of Nike Archives, and Blue Ribbon Studio. Each project was shaped by the participant’s own background and local community rather than following one shared design brief.

Only the designers are expected to receive a limited friends-and-family run of their footwear, with individual projects scheduled to surface over the next year ahead of Air Max Day 2027. It remains unclear whether Hatsuki’s design will move beyond the concept stage, but it provides one of the first detailed looks at what came out of Nike’s AirWorks program.

Nike Air Zoom Flight 98 “The Glove” Releases July 31st

The Nike Air Zoom Flight ’98 “The Glove” is coming back, and the official look shows Nike did not stray far from the original.

The familiar black-and-white colorway is intact, along with the zippered neoprene shroud that made the shoe stand out in the first place. Underneath sits the hidden “Monkey Paw” support system. The sculpted sole and long, aggressive shape are back too, without much effort to soften the design for today.

That is probably the right call. The Flight ’98 came from a stretch when Nike Basketball was willing to let performance shoes look strange, and this one was never built to blend in. Even now, the covered lacing system and wrapped upper still feel different from most retro basketball releases.

Gary Payton is the reason the model carries so much weight. His “The Glove” nickname came from his defense, but it also fit the shoe’s tight, enclosed construction. Payton wore the model during one of the defining periods of his career, giving it a place in Nike Basketball history that went beyond the design itself.

The line never reached the size of Nike’s bigger signature franchises, but this pair stuck around. Collectors remembered the zip-up build, the sharp black-and-white blocking, and a shape that was hard to mistake for anything else.

Nike GT Future and GT Cut 1 EYBL Player Exclusives For Peach Jam

EYBL players are getting two matching Nike Basketball exclusives this season, led by the first GT Future colorway made for the youth circuit.

A peach-orange finish covers the front of the Nike GT Future EYBL before fading into yellow toward the heel. Metallic silver Swooshes appear on both sides of the upper, while black laces break up the brighter color palette. The overall look is close to the early “Fire” colorway, though the warmer gradient gives this pair a noticeably different finish.

The Nike GT Cut 1 EYBL follows the same theme with peach-colored mesh and synthetic panels across the upper. Red accents land on the TPU eyelet supports, while black covers the unfinished lateral Swoosh, tongue lining, sockliner and EYBL branding on the heel tab. A black midsole sits below, joined by the same peach-to-yellow fade used on the GT Future.

Both pairs are expected to remain exclusive to Nike EYBL players. A public release date has yet to be announced.

Jalen Hurts Debuts Air Jordan 1 TD “Electric Green” Cleats

Jalen Hurts opened the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2026 training camp in the Air Jordan 1 TD “Electric Green,” giving the new football cleat its first notable on-field appearance. Jordan Brand released the bright colorway in both Mid and Low versions, with each model available now through Nike.

Glossy patent leather covers both uppers from heel to toe, keeping the finish almost entirely Electric Green. The same shade continues across the laces, tongues, Swooshes, lining, midsoles, and cleated outsoles. White Jumpman logos and Wings branding provide the only contrast.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid TD retains the elevated collar and sock-like padded ankle unit found on the basketball shoe. The Jordan 1 Low TD implements the same paneling/color application to a lower cut silhouette. The Mid features the standard molded football tongue while the Low features a layered traction pattern with multidirectional stud designs on the forefoot and heel.

Travis Scott Launches Merch Collection For Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”

Travis Scott’s role in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has now spilled over into footwear and apparel through a new Cactus Jack collection tied to the film. Scott appears as a bard in the movie, a fitting nod to the oral storytelling tradition that helped preserve Homer’s epic long before it was written down.

Nike also created two special pairs for the project: a Moon Shoe and an ACG Moc. Scott previously wore the Moc during an appearance on The Tonight Show, while the Moon Shoe showed up on the red carpet at the film’s premiere. Neither pair is expected to reach the public, as both were made exclusively for the cast and crew.

The Moon Shoe combines black tumbled leather with black suede and burgundy fur across the reverse Swooshes. Matching burgundy laces finish the look. The ACG Moc takes the texture further with a full burgundy fur upper, while the heel pull tab references King Agamemnon. A small spine-shaped charm also nods to the helmet worn by Benny Safdie in the film.

The wider collection includes two short-sleeve T-shirts, a long-sleeve shirt, and a tote bag. Graphics reference Scott’s lines from the movie, the massive amount of film used during production, IMAX branding, Odysseus’ helmet, and the movie’s “Defy The Gods” tagline.

The Travis Scott x The Odyssey Cactus Jack Merch is available now for pre-order, with shipping expected in five to six weeks. The Nike Moon Shoe and ACG Moc will remain exclusive to the film’s cast and crew.

New Balance Opens First Los Angeles Store at The Grove

New Balance is expanding its retail presence to the West Coast with a new flagship store at The Grove in Los Angeles. The opening marks the Boston brand’s first permanent location in the city after establishing several prominent stores along the East Coast.

The two-story space spans 4,400 square feet and carries a full mix of performance footwear, lifestyle releases, and apparel. A large athlete feature wall stretches between both levels, while a separate room is reserved for New Balance Made in USA footwear and clothing. Wood paneling, open lighting, and understated finishes give the store a similar feel to the brand’s SoHo and Flatiron locations in New York.

Several areas inside the store were also created to host launches, community gatherings, and interactive product experiences. That setup will be used immediately, with a series of opening events tied to some of New Balance’s newer footwear.

The celebration begins July 30 and July 31 with an interactive sound bar built around the AC Runner. The space will later transform into the Ellipse Cafe, pairing custom drinks with a showcase of the brand’s everyday trainer. New Balance will close out the opening schedule from August 7 through August 9 with a 204L event featuring capsule machines and chances to win free products.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Covered in “Red Floral”

Red, pink, and burgundy flowers adorn most of the women’s Nike Air Force 1 Low “Floral,” spanning across the textured black leather from toe to heel. The floral pattern blends bigger flowers with smaller petals, stems, and leaves so that it feels like more than just the same print stamped repeatedly on every panel. Visually, the colors pop against the black background without overwhelming the shoe.

Black suede Swooshes cut through the floral embroidery on both sides of the shoe. The laces, tongues, heel tabs, lining, midsoles, and outsoles all remain black, which further accents the colorful upper. Red branding highlights appear on the tongue labels and heels, with that same shade repeating on the “AIR” text and lace stripe near the rear of the midsole. One silver detail comes by way of the AF1 lace dubrae up front.

Hiroshi Fujiwara Teases A Possible Fragment x Nike LD-1000

Hiroshi Fujiwara has people guessing again after posting a silver and blue Nike LD-1000 that may or may not be tied to Fragment Design. The colorway certainly fits his usual style, but the photos do not give away enough to call it a collaboration just yet.

The pair has a silver mesh base, light grey suede overlays, and a bright blue Swoosh across the sides. An off-white midsole and black waffle outsole finish off the retro runner look. It is simple, familiar, and not far removed from colorways Nike could release on its own, which makes the whole thing harder to read.

Fujiwara did not show the tongue clearly, and there is no useful look at the heel or inside labels either. Those are the areas most likely to carry Fragment branding, so keeping them hidden leaves the door open to several possibilities. This could be an upcoming release, an unreleased general colorway, or a personal pair made only for him.

That last option would not be unusual. Fujiwara has received exclusive Nike samples before, and Fragment has never needed loud branding to make a project feel like its own. Recent shoes such as the Mind 001 and Liquid Max followed the same quiet approach.

There is still no confirmation that the Fragment Design x Nike LD-1000 will be released. A release date has yet to be announced.

Dylan Harper Honors His Filipino Roots With TITAN x Nike GT Cut 1

Dylan Harper is working with TITAN on his first Nike GT Cut 1 collaboration, tying the project back to his Filipino heritage. The “Before The Light” colorway takes its name from the hours of work that come before the attention, using a sunrise theme to carry that idea across the shoe.

Black mesh covers most of the upper, with orange, yellow, blue, and red breaking through around the tongue, collar, and heel. The lateral Swoosh has an iridescent finish, while a translucent blue outsole keeps the early-morning theme moving underfoot.

There are a few smaller details worked into the design. “Create Separation” appears near the eyestay, green “001” branding sits on the medial side, and the heel tabs use different colors. Four extra lace options also come with the pair.

The cushioning setup stays familiar. A full-length drop-in React foam midsole sits over a parabolic Air Zoom Strobel, with another Zoom Air unit in the heel. An extra-durable rubber outsole gives the shoe enough grip and toughness for outdoor courts.

TITAN has built its name in the Philippines by combining basketball retail with barbershop services inside its boutiques. That local connection gives the release more weight than a standard player collaboration. This darker “Before The Light” colorway arrives alongside the brighter “Origin Story” pair, giving Harper’s first TITAN collection two very different looks built around the same journey.

Jordan Brand’s growing focus on the later chapters of Michael Jordan’s signature line continues with the Air Jordan 17 Low “Black Patent” edition. The upcoming pair brings a polished, mostly black finish to the low-top model while adding another release to the Air Jordan 17s ongoing retro run.

Glossy black patent leather dominates the upper, creating a look that loosely recalls the original “Black Chrome” colorway from 2002. Perforated leather appears around the ankle and quarter panels, breaking up the shine with a more subtle texture. Metallic silver eyestays provide the strongest contrast, while black laces and a padded collar keep the rest of the shoe understated.

Smoky translucent sections appear around the midfoot and heel, adding some depth without disrupting the dark color scheme. Subtle Jumpman branding is worked into the heel area, with additional logos appearing on the tongue, insoles, and outsole. Dark blue and grey accents finish the traction setup underneath.

Interest in the Air Jordan 17 Low has gradually picked up following the “Lightning” and “University Blue” releases, the Infinite Archives collaboration, and Zach Rumbaugh’s Doernbecher edition. More releases are already expected, including a premium “Black Pack” version and the return of the “College Blue” Air Jordan 17 in 2027.

Titan x Dylan Harper x Nike GT Cut 1 “Origin” Releases August 6th

Dylan Harper gave the Titan x Nike GT Cut 1 “Origin Story” its first major spotlight during Game 2 of the 2026 NBA Finals. San Antonio’s season ended in disappointment, but Harper remained one of the bright spots for a young Spurs team still building toward the future.

A white mesh upper sets the foundation for the pair’s sunset-inspired colorway. Sky blue appears near the toe before the palette shifts through pink, orange, and yellow as it reaches the tongue, creating a gradual fade that gives the shoe most of its character.

That same range of colors carries onto the midsole support panel, beginning with blue near the forefoot and finishing in yellow toward the heel. White overlays, matching laces, and a light midsole keep the brighter accents balanced across the rest of the design.

The “Origin Story” colorway follows the “Bleached Aqua” collaboration along with the upcoming “Black” pair.

Nike Vapor 12 Hypersmash “Mag” Releases August 17th

Nike is bringing the “Mag” theme back again, this time on the Zoom Vapor 12 Hypersmash. The tennis shoe borrows its Jetstream, White, and Photo Blue palette from the self-lacing Nike Mag seen in Back to the Future Part II.

Muted grey handles most of the upper. Photo Blue appears around the support pieces, branding, and sole, with speckled detailing added through the midsole. It keeps the reference clear without making the Vapor 12 look like a straight movie replica.

The heel does most of the storytelling. Decorative light graphics nod to the illuminated panels on Marty McFly’s pair, while the Nike logo on the tongue uses the orange-to-yellow fade associated with the film’s title artwork.

Nike has used their Mag colorway across basketball, skate and lifestyle footwear throughout the years. Placing it on the Vapor 12 gives it a whole new context. The shoe’ s slim profile and technical construction already lends itself to the futuristic theme better than most shoes that have experimented with it in the past.

Supreme x Martine Rose x Nike Dunk Low “Mike Tyson” Releases Fall 2026

The Supreme x Martine Rose x Nike Dunk Low is shaping up to be one of the biggest three-way collaborations of Fall 2026, with Mike Tyson taking center stage.

The black leather Dunk features images of Tyson across both the lateral and medial sides. The artwork references his 1986 “Judgement Day” victory over Trevor Berbick, when the 20-year-old Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history.

Beyond the bold graphics, the rest of the design stays relatively understated. Plush leather covers the near “Triple Black” upper, while stacked Supreme and Martine Rose branding appears on the heel. Gold detailing on the Nike tongue tag adds a championship-inspired finish, with additional Nike, Supreme, and Martine Rose logos printed on the insoles.

The release is also notable because Supreme is working with the standard Nike Dunk Low instead of the SB Dunk, the silhouette behind many of the brand’s most celebrated Nike collaborations.

This early pair appears to be a sample, so some details could change before the retail version arrives.

Nike Book 2 “Just Book” Releases August 5th

Devin Booker is bringing a familiar luxury-inspired look to his second signature model with the Nike Book 2 “Just Book” colorway. Dressed almost entirely in royal blue, the upcoming colorway takes clear cues from one of Don C’s most recognizable Air Jordan collaborations.

The connection is most noticeable across the quilted panels covering the upper. Similar detailing helped define the Just Don Air Jordan 2, which paired premium materials with tonal color blocking to build on the model’s Italian design roots. Those releases also helped bring more attention to a silhouette that has often been overlooked within the Air Jordan lineup.

Rather than recreating the Jordan 2 collaboration outright, Booker’s version carries the idea over in a way that still fits the Book 2. Royal blue covers nearly the entire shoe, allowing the stitching, panel shapes, and layered construction to create subtle contrast. The quilted finish gives it a more refined appearance, while the performance-focused build remains suited for the court.

Nike Air Max 90 “Shadow Brown” Releases August 12th

The Nike Air Max 90 “Shadow Brown” is scheduled for Fall 2026 with a darker material mix than the model usually wears. Tinker Hatfield’s 1990 shape remains unchanged, though the upper swaps the familiar mesh-heavy setup for layered leather and suede-style panels.

Deep brown covers nearly the entire shoe. Contrast stitching outlines the overlays and makes the paneling easier to see, while tonal Swooshes blend into the sides. Slightly warmer brown TPU appears on the eyestays, heel badge, and around the visible Air unit.

Black laces, tongue trim, and collar lining add a few darker breaks through the upper. The accents are limited, leaving the materials and different brown shades to carry most of the design.

Underfoot, translucent brown tooling replaces the white midsole commonly used on the Air Max 90. The midsole and outsole have a smoky, gum-like finish that continues the colorway from top to bottom without adding another color.
