The message carries directly into the Do Not Duplicate Houston Rodeo Pack, a footwear trio drawing inspiration from the long-standing traditions of the Houston Rodeo. Three adidas Originals silhouettes anchor the collection—Handball Spezial, BW Army, and Adiframe F50—each interpreted through design details rooted in Western riding culture.

Texture plays a major role throughout the pack. Hair-on leather panels sit beside snakeskin and croc-embossed finishes, while soft suede overlays and metal studs nod to classic Western boots and riding belts. Each pair also carries a silver Do Not Duplicate chain tag, quietly marking the platform and its emphasis on individuality.

The original pair instantly stood out because it blended Kobe Bryant’s basketball identity with his lifelong love for the Mercurial Vapor football boots, creating one of the most memorable cross-sport mashups in the Kobe line.

First released in February 1997, the Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” remains one of the more unique original colorways in the model’s history. After debuting alongside four other OG styles, the sneaker spent years in the Jordan Brand vault before eventually returning in 2012. Now, the Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” is expected to return in 2027, celebrating the colorway’s 30th Anniversary.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 12 drew inspiration from Japan’s Rising Sun flag. This influence appears through the signature stitched lines that radiate across the upper. The “Obsidian” edition stands out thanks to its deep navy leather base paired with clean white overlays and Carolina blue accents. Those UNC-inspired details reference Michael Jordan’s college roots and give the sneaker a refined yet sporty look.

Nike is preparing to celebrate Air Max Day once again with the launch of a brand-new silhouette, the Nike Air Liquid Max, arriving on March 26, 2026. Since the event began in 2014, Nike has used Air Max Day to highlight its long-standing innovation in Air cushioning, often introducing new models that push the technology forward. In recent years, releases like the Nike Air Max Dn and Nike Air Max DN8 have focused on Dynamic Air systems, and the Liquid Max continues that tradition with a fresh approach.

The upcoming design draws inspiration from nature, specifically the Poison Dart Frog. That influence appears throughout the shoe, most noticeably in its unique Air cushioning layout and layered upper. The sneaker features a textured nanoprint construction across three layers, giving the upper a bold, almost amphibian-like appearance that mirrors the frog-inspired concept.

Underfoot, the Liquid Max introduces a newly engineered cushioning platform designed to simulate the sensation of “walking on air.” The setup features a flexible, low-profile Air unit shaped to follow the natural contours of the foot. While official images of the LeBron 23 “Shoe Bag” sneakers have not surfaced yet, a companion T-shirt offers a preview of the theme. The graphic design shows a Nike box filled with cash alongside crossed-out logos representing rival brands that once pursued the young basketball star.

The concept references James’ early “sneaker free agency” period in the early 2000s, when several major companies competed for his signature deal. Both adidas and Reebok aggressively tried to sign the high school phenom before he entered the NBA.

Adidas reportedly offered a lucrative contract initially worth about $10 million per year, though that figure was later reduced during negotiations. Nike ultimately secured the partnership by committing to a groundbreaking $90 million deal, which proved to be one of the most important athlete endorsements in basketball history.

Football continues to be one of the major sneaker trends we’ve seen dictating future Air Max releases. For its latest take, Nike is using patriotism as inspiration for the Air Max Plus “French Football Federation” edition. Think Tuned Air meets France’s football team motifs.

Large shades of blue take over on this sneaker. A mesh upper transitions from a lighter hue at the midsole to navy along the lace tab. Over top of that is the traditional wave like TPU cage, which mirrors the gradient inverse colorway with white near the collar and navy meeting back at the midsole. From heel to toe, the tones blend into one another.

Golden hues reference the Football Federation theme. A metallic layered Swoosh as well as midfoot shank reflect gold tones found on the tongue where a French Football Federation badge is displayed along with stars. Embossed Nike branding on the insole and heel showcase traditional Air Max TN branding.

That idea drives the arrival of the Nike Vomero 18 DSRPT “Iron Grey”. a version of the brand’s dependable trainer that keeps its performance DNA intact while pushing its design in a more expressive direction.

Underfoot, the build mirrors the familiar Vomero running shoe platform trusted for daily mileage. ZoomX foam works alongside ReactX cushioning to create a smooth and stable ride that favors comfort during longer runs. The setup keeps the Nike running trainer responsive without sacrificing the plush feel that has defined the Vomero series for years.

Visual changes define the DSRPT concept. Structured mesh is utilized on the base while irregular overlays are draped overtop of the upper in tessellated fashion reminiscent of a heat map. Mirrordotting and hexagonal panels accentuate the muted black colourway while the molded Swoosh fades into the shoe. The midsole is even painted on giving this sneaker its chaotic nature.

Creative experimentation has become part of LaMelo Ball’s signature identity, and his latest hybrid keeps that momentum moving. The PUMA MB.01234 merges design DNA from the first four MB models into one expressive basketball silhouette.

Instead of reinventing the line, this release pulls recognizable pieces from earlier chapters. The sculpted sole unit traces back to the MB.01, giving the model its aggressive shape and traction base. Across the upper, details from later entries appear throughout the build. Flame graphics from the MB.02 stretch along the lateral panel, while claw-style marks pulled from the MB.03 land on the medial side. Toward the heel, layered and deconstructed overlays echo the experimental direction introduced on the MB.04.

Over a dozen colorways will make up the Vans Off The Wall Authentic Spring 2026 Collection, releasing over the coming months. Anchoring the release around its anniversary are appearances from Hayley Williams, SZA and Travis Barker, all of whom nod to the shoe’s storied connection to music and culture at large.

Fashion’s ongoing embrace of slim, motorsport-inspired sneakers continues to evolve, now stepping into more experimental territory. That direction becomes clear through the Noir Kei Ninomiya x PUMA Speedcat “Roses”, a collaboration that introduces the Japanese label’s avant-garde design language to one of PUMA’s most recognizable silhouettes.

Rather than altering the Speedcat’s low-profile structure, the project transforms its exterior. A translucent shell covered in 3D synthetic roses wraps the upper, forming a sculptural layer that still allows the classic PUMA Formstrip to remain visible underneath. The design balances delicacy and structure, adding dimension without erasing the identity of the original racing-inspired model.

Color choices stay true to Noir’s aesthetic direction. An all-black edition anchors the collection, while cyan and soft rosy versions add contrast to the darker pair. Appearing to signal a more expansive artistic direction as the label moves past its former footwear collaborations, the mix also sees him experimenting with new narratives through silhouettes from PUMA’s archive.
