Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Australian Open” Available at 21 Mercer
Nike pays homage to a seminal era in sport history when the tennis great Andre Agassi dominated the courts of Melbourne in the Air Tech Challenge II. A revamp of the iconic ’90s court shoe worn by “The Punisher” during countless triumphs, the sneaker now boasts bold color blocking and embroidered numerals decipherable to the most fervent tennis fans. True to its original form but revamped using the technology of today, the 2014 release of the Air Tech Challenge II takes a legendary court classic from the archives to the street for everyday wear.
Originally designed with the sport’s unique demands in mind, the shoe’s upper is constructed of premium white leather, whereas the toe panel is formed by TecTuff leather. A textured and durable finishing process, the toe panel is built to withstand the abrasion that occurs during explosive match volleys. The panel’s solar orange hue accents and arched curvatures recall the famous rock formations of the vast Australian Outback. The vivid blue midsole and rear references the iconic hue of the competition’s hard court surfaces.
To underscore Agassi’s victorious tenure at the tournament, the rear panel is embroidered with the number 1036, noting the impressive tally of career match wins Agassi accrued at Melbourne Park. The shoe’s tongue is coded with the digits 95.00.01.03, representing the years in which Agassi won the tournament.
The Nike Air Tech Challenge II debuts Jan. 31 at 21 Mercer and Dover Street Market in New York.

Jordan Melo M10 “Super Saturday” Collection
While the eyes of sports fans around the world focus on football in New Jersey this weekend, the love of basketball runs deep in the concrete jungle. New York’s Madison Square Garden hosts a blockbuster lineup of weekend games showcasing the Jordan Brand family in both collegiate and professional games.
A mid-day college hoops doubleheader offers a unique opportunity for Jordan Brand to showcase its schools as both Marquette and Georgetown will make an appearance at the World’s Most Famous Arena. The Golden Eagles will take the court first at 12:30 p.m. ET and Georgetown takes center stage at 3 p.m. ET.
Coming off last year’s Elite Eight appearance, Marquette players looking to make a return trip to the Big Dance will don custom Jordan Melo M10 shoes featuring a Midnight Navy double dye nubuck leather upper. A solid chrome heel counter will also nod to the Jordan Chrome Storm story to be featured on Super Saturday.
The Georgetown Hoyas will showcase a college-exclusive Jordan Melo M10 as they compete against the Spartans for the second time in school history, having only met once in 1986. The chrome heel counter with a navy gradient provides stability and support while the clear outsole supplies excellent durability and celebrates the Hoyas’ iconic logo.
The third game of the night will highlight one of the Jordan family’s signature athletes, Carmelo Anthony, as he takes the court at 8:30 p.m. ET. Coming off of a legendary performance, Anthony will lace up a player exclusive version of his tenth signature shoe that contains Flight Plate technology for maximum energy efficiency and responsiveness. The white leather upper is offset by blue accents, and an orange TPU heel counter featuring Melo’s original signature.

Extra Butter x ASICS Gel Lyte V “Snake Charmer” Release Info
We reach the end of the list. As our Death List 5 Project comes to a close, we finish things off with the leader of the sinister serpents that came before…Snake Charmer.
The Gel Lyte V has taken the vintage-tech running world by storm, winning over new fans of this look, and pleasing the true-school purists that know how much of a gem the Gel Lyte V already is.
“Snake Charmer” takes the shoe to another level with an aesthetic suited for a gentlemen, as well as a samurai. Plush black suede sits underneath “cowboy” brown leather overlays that evoke the type of Spaghetti Western gem of jacket, you might find in a vintage store on the outskirts of a barren desert. This combination is set atop a tasty cream-colored midsole, and probably our favorite of all the materials we’ve used thus far – purple paisley printed nylon!
The in-store release info for our 2 locations is listed below, but we urge you to stay tuned as this last week leading up to our Snake Charmer Gel Lyte V, will be just as fun as the last 5 months of this whole Death List 5 project!

Past Meets Present: Nike Basketball Hyper Elite Dominance Uniforms
As college basketball moves into February, games get grittier and the competition becomes fiercer. Every game counts as teams set their sights on the big dance and dig deep to triumph over rivals that stand between them and ultimate victory. It’s a time for teams to draw on past successes for motivation.
Nike recognizes the tradition of college basketball and long-standing rivalries with seven special uniforms that fuse premium apparel innovation with school heritage.
The 2014 Nike Hyper Elite Dominance uniform celebrates the past and present of seven outstanding programs. The distinct jersey and short combination will be worn in select upcoming games.
The college basketball teams that will debut the Hyper Elite Dominance uniforms include Michigan State University, Ohio State University, Duke University, University of Kentucky, Syracuse University, University of Oregon and University of North Carolina.
Nike created the uniforms with performance innovation at the forefront — considered design that benefits the athletes. The jersey is a lightweight, breathable and durable: sphere fabric with flocking at the interior neck for sweat management, while articulated armholes maximize range of motion. The back of the jersey features team-specific aerographic mesh graphics.
The four-way stretch woven short features laser perforations and ventilation throughout the short and waistband for breathability and maximum movement.
The Nike Hyper Elite basketball shorts are made of 100 percent recycled polyester while the jerseys are made of at least 96 percent recycled polyester — saving an average of 22 recycled plastic bottles per uniform.
All seven uniforms honor each school’s winning tradition with special logos, scripts and colors mined from each program’s past.
The uniforms will make their debut on-court beginning in early February. Dates include Michigan State vs. Georgetown (2/1), Ohio State vs. Michigan (2/11), Duke vs. Maryland (2/15), Kentucky vs. Florida (2/15), Syracuse vs. Boston College (2/19), UNC vs. Wake Forest (2/22) and Oregon vs. Washington State (2/23).
The details will be revealed before each game with special stories on NikeInc.com and the uniforms will be available for fans in March at Nike.com.

Nike Kobe Prelude Pack Selling on eBay For 5K
The Nike Kobe Prelude Pack was a huge success on behalf of Nike Basketball by having each model inspired by a part of Kobe Bryant’s career. Shown here is the full Nike Kobe Prelude Pack in a size 13 that is being sole right now for $5K (+ shipping) from brttrod on eBay.
Is this pack worth this asking price, and if not what do you think the pack should be selling for in the comments.
