Air Jordan 6 PE Cleats 2014 NFL Season

To get ready for the 2014 NFL Season Jordan Brand releases a look at all thes Air Jordan 6 PE Cleats we will all see hit the field this season. All of their Jordan Brand athletes will have their number stitched on the back heel of their player exclusive Air Jordan 6. Check out each pair below in detail and let us know which one catches your eye in the comment section.

The iconic Jumpman logo is a symbol of excellence that transcends sport. Best known as a performance basketball brand, Jordan Brand remains relentlessly focused on helping the world’s greatest athletes take flight — regardless of the surface they play on.

Soon after the Jordan Brand made its official debut in 1997, the sports world noticed, and it wasn’t long before some of the best athletes in the world joined with the Jumpman, including football greats Randy Moss and Warren Sapp. Today, the Jordan Brand football family continues to grow with players who represent the Jumpman on and off the gridiron.

Now, with a new season underway, the Jordan Brand is rolling out player-exclusive versions of the Air Jordan VI cleat. The Brand designed each player-exclusive cleat in the athlete’s preferred mid- or low-cut style, in team-inspired colorways. Players’ numbers are embroidered on the heel and individual names on the tongue for a personalized touch.

Over the summer, Jordan Brand family members Earl Thomas, Dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree, Andre Johnson, LaMarr Woodley, Hakeem Nicks, Dwight Freeney, Jordan Lynch and Charles Woodson gathered at Nike World Headquarters to train for the upcoming season and meet with product teams to offer their input on how the Jordan Brand can create on-field and training footwear and apparel. They put current Jordan Brand training products to the test, participating in a series of grueling workouts in the summer heat. They also helped design the exclusive cleats they’ll wear this week as they kick off another season and chase a championship.

Each of these athletes has an undeniable love for the game and understands the relentless commitment it takes to be a legend. When they reach one goal, they don’t stop— they make another. They know something that others don’t — dedication doesn’t just come and go. It’s not a switch that gets turned off, and it certainly does not end once the season is over.

Exclusive Video Review: Black OVO Air Jordan Retro 10 Drake PE’s

Sneaker Bar Detroit has yet another video exclusive. Once again SBD’s video maestro Alin and I headed down to the NoJo Kicks store, and did our video review on the blacked out OVO Air Jordan Retro 10 Drake PE’s.

If you haven’t seen our last video on the white and gold OVO Air Jordan Retro 12 Drake PE’s, Jordan Brand officially made the rapper, Drake, a part of their endorsement roster. Out of this collaboration white and black models of both the Air Jordan 10 and the Air Jordan 12 were created sporting a new stingray leather material. Called the “OVO’s” (named after Drake’s clothing brand and record label, “October’s Very Own”) Drake immediately looked to set his colorways apart by adding his OVO owl logo onto the shoe. All 4 versions of these shoes were never released to the public and were limited to close friends and family of Drake’s. This shoe is extremely rare which explains the high price tag that they’re going for at NoJo Kicks as well as the lack of videos on this shoe that only we here at Sneaker Bar Detroit were able to provide.

Having the honor of doing this video and holding these shoes in my hand I couldn’t help but be impressed by the quality of this shoe. As I said in the video, the Air Jordan 10’s are a relatively simple shoe without much going on as far as design (except for the outsole) but that stingray leather adds a level of contrast to this all black shoe. And against the tumbled leather upper that stingray just pops right out at you. I normally rock every shoe I buy but I would probably keep these DS (deadstock) unless some special occasion warranted me wearing them.

As always we would like to thank the great staff at the NoJo Kicks store for granting us access to their store and inventory. Check out their website, NoJoKicks.com, to check out their inventory of the hottest sneakers, past or present. Would also like to thank the “Bearded” clothing label for the awesome shirt I’m wearing in our review video. Check out their website, Are You Bearded, to see their inventory of t-shirts and apparel.

Let us know in the comments below what you think of the Air Jordan 10 “OVO” and be sure to Subscribe to our Youtube Channel while your at it!

Community Poll: Which Air Jordan Would You Rather See Return

Maybe two of the more demanded pairs of Air Jordans that we all want to return are the Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” and Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” colorways.

The Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” were released in 1991 that retailed for $125 USD. Dressed in a simple White leather upper with Maroon accents finished with a clear sole. Perforations can be found throughout the upper – that allows ventilation.

The Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” was arguably the most anticipated Air Jordan 8 colorway to release. Featuring a Black-based nubuck upper with an anti-inversion cross straps, with Bright Concord and Aqua Tone accents.

Both pairs have been rumored to release the past few years, but Jordan Brand has yet to give us either pair. With Jordan Brand celebrating their 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, it would make sense to see the “Maroon” 6s retro in 2014 – but nothing has been confirmed just yet. With Jordan Brand starting to release their remastered versions beginning in Spring 2015, what better time to bring back two classic colorways during that time.

But what if you could only have one pair return as a remastered version. Which Air Jordan would you rather see return – the “Maroon” 6s or “Aqua” 8s? After voting in the poll below, explain your decision in the comment section below.
