Kyrie Irving’s first signature shoe, the Nike Kyrie 1 will be included in this year’s Nike Basketball Black History Month 2015 Collection. The silhouette joins LeBron, Kobe and KD who also have their silhouettes included in the collection.

Much like the rest of the collection, the Kyrie 1 features the Black and White color scheme across the Hyperfuse upper. Other details include a geometrically-pattern hitting the heel counter, with the BHM logo on the back heel.

Air Jordan 1 BHM – Colorway Details

This Air Jordan 1 “BHM” features a simple color scheme, much like the others included in the Black History Month Collection of Black and White for a nice luxury styled look. The newest Black History Month pattern is found throughout the upper. Other details include a Black/White print on the toe box and “BHM” lettering on the tongues.

Nike Tennis Zoom Cage 2

The Nike Tennis Zoom Cage 2 is set to release on January 14th, 2015 at select Nike retailers, including Nike.com. Two Nike Tennis Zoom Cage 2 colorways will become available, one for the men in a Volt color and the other in a Pink makeup for the ladies. The Nike Zoom Cage 2 showcases a commitment to deliver a tennis shoe that combines hardcore durability with lightweight support and a glove-like fit. The shoe gives players a low, stable ride and Zoom cushioning in the heel provides an explosive speed and match-long comfort.

“With the Nike Zoom Cage 2, we focused on creating a really durable tennis shoe that still lets players be quick to the ball,” said Michael Hui, Senior Designer of Tennis Footwear at Nike. “The high level of durability and protection in the Zoom Cage 2 would usually involve the trade-off of a heavier shoe but we’ve been able to include the Zoom cushioning feel that players love on court while keeping it lightweight and fast.”

UPPER

The utilization of Nike Drag-On material on the Zoom Cage 2 provides great lateral support for players who slide a lot on the court. It is also highly breathable for improved cooling while the upper design also provides a protective cage of durability that gives the shoe its name. An encapsulated Zoom Air bag in the heel of the shoe delivers explosive cushioning and great comfort.

MIDSOLE

A 3 mm rubber midsole gives players protection where they need it the most. On the Zoom Cage 2, the midsole has been designed to wrap up around the heel in a new way that splits down the back to allow for greater agility and on-the-court quickness.

OUTSOLE

Years of experience and foot pressure data was utilized to create the unique 6 mm outsole of the Nike Zoom Cage 2. The outsole provides thicker tread in high wear zones for unmatched levels of durability and traction. And this also helps cut down on scuffs and everyday wear and tear on the shoe. Sole material has been removed where it’s not needed to make the shoe as light as possible. The outsole design also puts the player closer to the ground for better support and control when sliding into a shot.

In celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo’s stellar year and tremendous achievement, Nike created a special boot as unique as his talents. The Mercurial CR7 Rare Gold boot was designed specifically for Ronaldo and given to him after he was awarded his third Ballon d’Or.

Gold was selected as the main color on the boot because gold is earned. Ronaldo earned his golden award with tremendous play for club and country.

As a tribute to Ronaldo’s work ethic, Nike added a special touch to the Mercurial CR7 Rare Gold. For the first time in Nike history, micro-diamonds have been applied by hand to the CR7 logo of the boot.

The micro-diamonds are remnants from larger stones that are painstakingly perfected by craftsmen. As the diamonds are refined and the details sharpened, tiny pieces are cut away, leaving micro-diamonds behind as evidence of work in progress. The commitment to keep chipping away at something already impressive reminded Nike’s design team of Ronaldo’s work ethic. While many see Ronaldo as the best in the world, he sees room for improvement.

The Air Jordan 5 RiFF RAFF Custom eBay Bid Currently Over $100K

RiFF RAFF trolled the internet when he displayed a pair of Air Jordan 5 and claimed them to be a collaboration with Jordan Brand that would be releasing to select retailers for $750 USD.

Jordan Brand later shot down the rumors, but that didn’t stop the shoe from making its way to eBay.

If you can believe is or not, this Air Jordan 5 size 12 is going for more then $100K with over 200 bids. What makes this even worse is that the bidding started at $1.00.

Nike Air Huarache “Blue Force”

The Nike Air Huarache silhouette is expected to release in several upcoming colorways beginning this Winter 2015. One of the pairs set to drop is this “Blue Force” edition. Featuring a premium suede build in a Blue Force upper with Dark Grey and Wolf Grey hints throughout.

As part of the upcoming Jordan Brand Spring 2015 lineup for grade school sizing, we now have an official release date for the Air Jordan 4 GS “Fuchsia” colorway.

To help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Jordan Brand Franchise, the classic Air Jordan 4 silhouette for the Girls is highlighted in bright, bold Fuchsia Flash.

This Air Jordan 4 is dressed in a mixture of Black, Fuchsia Force and Flash Lime color scheme. The shoe features a full Black nubuck base with with Fuchsia Force accents on the inner tongue, Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, eyelets and outsole. Flash Lime is accented throughout the shoe on the interior, speckling detailing and stitching throughout and also appears underneath the iconic Retro 4 netting.

Basketball is in LeBron James’ DNA. The newest colorway of the LeBron 12 is inspired by his superhuman ability, with a colorful stylized interpretation of DNA gel-readings on the Hyperposite upper.

Dressed in a mixture of Black, Blue Lagoon and Pink color scheme. The shoe features a Black mesh upper with Lagoon Blue and Pink accents that also includes a chromosome inspired print on the Hyperposite overlay sitting top an icy translucent outsole.

Ewing Athletics January 2015 Releases

For the month of January, Ewing Athletics is set to release three silhouettes in all new colorways, the Ewing 33 Hi, Ewing Focus and Ewing Wrap.

The Ewing 33 Hi features different shades of Grey suede throughout the upper with Black accents. The Ewing Focus is dressed in a Charlotte Hornets color scheme as a nod to Patrick Ewing’s current job, and the Ewing Wrap features a Dutch Blue upper with Neon Green accents sitting atop a Gum rubber outsole.

Look for all three of these silhouettes to release on Friday, January 23rd, 2015 at select Ewing Athletics retailers, including ewingathletics.com.

The first College Football Playoff National Championship game matches the second-seeded Oregon Ducks and fourth-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes in Dallas at the AT&T Stadium.

Coming into Monday night’s matchup the Oregon Ducks (13-1) and its Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Marcus Mariota are looking to capitalize on a successful season with the program’s first national title.

Ohio State (13-1) could bring in the school’s fifth national title and would be coach Urban Meyer’s first one as a Buckeye – all behind a third-string quarterback.

The full Nike Black History Month 2015 Collection has been unveiled and the Nike SB Dunk Low BHM 2015 is one of the highlights of the collection. The Nike Black History Month 2015 Collection will begin to debut this January 17th and each of this year’s model will feature a Black and White color scheme.

This BHM edition of the Nike SB Dunk Low features a full Black leather upper that includes a faint checkerboard pattern, zig-zags detailing on the heel and perforations throughout the entire silhouette. The shoe is completed with a White Nike Swoosh, midsole and interior, with BHM on the tongue and insole.

The Nike Air Command Force “Washed Denim” release date is set for January 17th, 2015 and will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers, including Sneaker Politics.

This “Washed Denim” edition of the Nike Air Command Force is dressed in Washed Denim throughout the entire upper with Black detailing and Vibrant Pink Glow accents.

While there hasn’t been an official release date change, it appears that some retailers have received the release a bit early and is set to make them available beginning January 15th at shops like Sneaker Bistro.

In addition to the Nike Kobe 10, it looks like there will be a Nike Kobe 10 High set to release later this year, 2015.

Following the success from the Nike Kobe 9 Elite High, Nike Basketball appears to be continuing the high-top silhouette onto the Nike Kobe 10. Here is the first look at the Nike Kobe 10 High that is built with a bootie-like base with Flyknit materials.
