adidas Samba Gets A Winter Upgrade in Black and Brown for Fall 2025

The adidas Samba Winter for Fall 2025 takes the classic shoe on a winter-ready journey.

Slim and terrace-ready, the silhouette gets an outdoors rebrand, complete with an aggressively textured sole for winter traction. Instantly differentiates this from the parade of retro reissues of the last several years.

Hairy suede textures the upper, while synthetic overlays protect the toe and heel. Rope laces and metal eyelets further speak to the hiking inspiration. Reflective detailing on the stripes and heel tab close things out with some functional flair. A welcome departure for a silhouette now building out its own streetwear durability.

Two colorways headline the drop, black and an earthy brown. Each iteration remains true to the Samba formula while extending the silhouette in a utility direction. A smart pivot, as sneaker brands lean into weather-proof silhouettes.

Available through adidas.com and selected retailers, the adidas Samba Winter drops Fall 2025.

Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 OT “Black” Returns Summer 2026

The Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 OT “Black” is back in Summer 2026. The silhouette was one of Kobe Bryant’s most beloved pre-signature sneaker. It was originally released in 2004 and was designed by Eric Avar, who drew inspiration from the Air Flight Huarache and Air Force 1. The 2K4 silhouette is the foundation for many current basketball shoes.

Kobe most notably wore the “Black” pair from early in the 2004–05 season, including his iconic dunk over rookie Dwight Howard on November 12, 2004. He also wore the 2K4 in various colorways, including the “All-Star” edition that illuminated the 2004 NBA All-Star Game, which also returns in 2026. That ties the model to both a defining in-game moment and a star-studded showcase, cements its legendary status.

Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers dunks over Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic during a 2004 NBA game.
On November 12, 2004, Kobe Bryant delivered a thunderous dunk over rookie Dwight Howard during a Lakers vs. Magic regular season matchup.

True to the original, this retro keeps it simple, with muted hues and luxe materials and textures in place of loud colour. The upper is crafted in premium leather and suede overlays, with neoprene bootie construction for lockdown comfort. A TPU heel counter provides stability and a Phylon midsole, cushioned with Zoom Air units in the forefoot and heel, guarantee performance that made the sneaker a basketball classic.

That’s what makes this Huarache 2K4 OT “Black” such an important piece of Nike Kobe history and sneaker collecting in general. It is a hybrid of the shoes of the past with the play of the future.

Jordan Trunner O/S “Purple Smoke” Releases October 2025

The Jordan Trunner O/S is officially debuting and Jordan Brand has provided a fitting launch pad for the retro runner. One particular drop, an all-new “Purple Smoke” colorway, injects something of a lifestyle flavor into today’s typical exercise and running-focused drops.

As sneaker trends further shift from ‘80s basketball silhouettes to ‘90s-inspired suede and mesh runners, the Trunner O/S could not be more timely. Arriving in the early 2000s as a jack-of-all-trades lifestyle shoe, the Trunner collection has long been synonymous with multi-function training and running sneakers.

The silhouette’s upper is a tough mesh and suede patchwork decked out in muted purples, highlighted by electric blue laces and stringing. A molded midfoot strap keeps things secure, a common Trunner feature. A sturdy chunky foam midsole in soft pink hues provides further support and nostalgia. Jumpman branding, along with pops of yellow in the heel, help to finish the style.

The Jordan Trunner O/S “Purple Smoke” will drop in October 2025 at select Jordan Brand retailers and on Nike.com. The retail price is set at $115 USD.

Jordan Trunner O/S “Archaeo Brown” Releases October 2025

UPDATE 9/11/25: The Jordan Trunner O/S “Archaeo Brown/Persian Violet” is set to release in October 2025 for $115. Check out the official photos below.

Original Story 7/2/25:
Jordan Brand continues its push into lifestyle sneakers with the new Jordan Trunner O/S “Archaeo Brown”. This model blends retro running inspiration with modern comfort for everyday wear.

This Trunner features a mix of suede and mesh across the upper, creating a durable yet breathable design. Its standout “Archaeo Brown” and “Persian Violet” colorway delivers a vintage trail-runner vibe. Pull tabs on the tongue and heel make the sneaker easy to slip on and off.

A thick, ribbed midsole enhances the chunky look, while a perforated side cage offers added structure and support. You’ll find Jumpman branding on the heel and outsole, tying it back to Jordan’s signature identity. Although it skips advanced cushioning like Zoom or React, the EVA foam likely offers soft step-in comfort.

The Jordan Trunner O/S “Archaeo Brown” is expected to hit retailers in October 2025. It will release at select retailers and Nike.com for $115 USD.

This release adds another bold entry into the brand’s growing lineup of casual sneakers. With its lifestyle-ready design, retro runner shape, and clean materials, it’s ready for both streetwear fans and sneaker collectors.

Air Jordan 1 MCS Baseball Cleats “Black/White” Releases Fall 2025

Basketball heritage meets the field with the Air Jordan 1 MCS Baseball “Black/White” for Fall 2025.

Crafted from black leather, the uppers take inspiration from the iconic Jordan 1 silhouette. White accents from the Swoosh and Wings logo are subtle nods to MJ’s signature crossover move from hoops to baseball.

In the midsole, a metal spike MCS plate ensures stability for quick pivots, while Max Air technology provides a cushioned ride. Nike didn’t just pay homage to the Jordan 1 with a similar design. They infused a baseball cleat with MJ’s legacy.

Shoes take elements of the Jordan brand DNA across all style cues, from perforations in the toe box to padded ankle support. Compared to previous retro-inspired baseball cleats, they stay a bit more traditional, while offering performance features for players that want classic design and playability.

The Air Jordan 1 MCS “Black/White” Baseball Cleats are set to release Fall 2025 for $150 at Nike.com.

Kobe Bryant’s adidas Crazy 2 “USA” Releasing in 2026

The adidas Kobe 2 “USA” will return in 2026, more than two decades after it was initially released. Kobe Bryant first donned the all-American retro on October 30, 2001, as the Los Angeles Lakers opened the 2001-02 season. The Kobe 2, swathed from head to toe in red, white, and blue, was a bold yet patriotic design that Bryant used to pay tribute to those affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks earlier that month.

The Kobe 2 has always been a polarizing sneaker among basketball fans. A futuristic, boxy design that defied convention for the style of basketball shoes at the time, the Kobe 2 was one of the most out-there silhouettes the NBA has ever seen. In addition, the Kobe 2 would be the final Kobe Bryant signature for adidas — with the player paying millions of dollars to leave his contract with the three stripes behind in order to sign with Nike, one of the biggest moves in sneaker history that helped lead to one of the most iconic signature lines in history.

In recent years, adidas has been able to make a successful revival of the original silhouette under the Crazy 2 name, which has had all the OG colorways selling out quickly. While the retro has been officially removed from Kobe Bryant branding, it has continued to do big business with both basketball fans and collectors that grew up in the late ’90s and early 2000s.

This is more than just a simple sneaker reissue; this release is a chance for fans to reflect on Kobe Bryant, basketball, and cultural history.

Oregon Ducks Ready To Hit The Field in Bold Nike Kobe 6 Cleats

The University of Oregon upholds its Nike heritage with the introduction of the Oregon Ducks x Nike Kobe 6 Cleat PE for Game 3 of the season.

The Kobe 6 basketball shoe influences the color and style of this cleat. The clean white base contrasts Oregon’s signature green and yellow. A bright green Swoosh lined in yellow ties it all together.

The subtle Ducks nods throughout the design are all the hint sneakerheads need to know that this one is very player only. That’s the kind of detail to look for.

Rolled out with the release of Oregon’s latest uniform, the Kobe 6 Cleat PE quickly became the biggest story. It’s just another example of Oregon football and Nike’s love for pushing the envelope on cleat design with a little bit of dope sneaker culture. Few teams around the world can do both while still paying homage to a legend like Kobe Bryant.

Unfortunately for sneakerheads, the Nike Kobe 6 Cleat PE for Oregon won’t see a public release. It is a true on-field exclusive for the Ducks.

Ja Morant Helped Design This Nike Air Force 1 Low “NY vs NY”

Ja Morant is moving in a new direction with a new streetwear collab as the NBA season approaches. The Memphis Grizzlies guard will be teaming up with Nike Basketball for the Air Force 1 Low “NY vs NY”, which pays tribute to New York City’s famous summer basketball tournament.

The “NY vs NY” league is a well-known basketball tournament in the city, bringing together the best high school players in the city to play in some of the most famous playgrounds in the world such as Rucker Park and Dyckman. Nike has in the past created a connection between the tournament and exclusive sneaker drops, but this release is even more special given Morant’s growing celebrity.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low features a polished build that’s as simple as it is detailed. Starting with a black premium nubuck upper as a base, the shoe is finished with tumbled leather Swooshes for some texture. White rope laces provide bold contrast and powder blue accents on the lace dubrae and insole give the shoe a pop without being too much. On the heel, there’s an embroidered “NY vs NY” that reiterates the city culture. A gum sole is used on the bottom to provide a classic, durable finish. The gum element is what makes this pair stand out from the rest.

Instead of being a signature shoe for the Ja line, this Air Force 1 stays true to the tournament’s legacy and features no personal branding. Despite that, it still feels like a seamless intersection between the rising basketball superstar and the city’s streetball culture. The sneaker is a minimal, everyday-ready Air Force 1 that forges a link between basketball performance shoes and lifestyle classics.

The Ja Morant x Nike Air Force 1 Low “NY vs NY” is set to release Fall 2025 at Nike.com and select retailers for $125 USD.

Air Jordan 1 Low Appears With Watermelon Vibes

Jordan Brand keeps summer vibes fresh with the Air Jordan 1 Low “Watermelon”, a vivid combination of green and pink hues. This playful take embraces the season’s energy while paying homage to colorways popular with past summer releases.

The shoe is constructed with a leather upper divided between two different green tones — “Fir” and “Malachite” to reference the watermelon rind. The contrasting tones are playfully accented by pops of “Pink Blast” on the Swoosh, Jumpman tongue logo, and heel Wings branding. This new colorway was given the nickname of “Watermelon” for these pink and green details. An off-white midsole complements the rest of the palette, set on top of a dark green rubber outsole.

The Air Jordan 1 Low is a classic silhouette favored by sneakerheads that love the brand’s traditional Jordan Brand DNA in a low-top profile. The “Watermelon” colorway is a new addition that is ideal for multiple styles and stands out for the upcoming seasonal Jordan Brand releases. It also has the right amount of summery vibes from that pop of pink contrasting against the more subdued greens.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Watermelon” will release soon through Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers for $115 USD. Are you picking up this new fruity release for your rotation?

BAPE STA Returns In A Patent Leather Trio

There aren’t many sneakers with a history as storied as the BAPE STA, and this September it’s back with a triple “Patent Leather” offering.

Originating in the early 2000s, the STA quickly became a cultural staple. Worn by Pharrell, Kanye and untold sneakerheads, it was a key factor in elevating the silhouette to global relevancy. Unlike many sneakers that drew inspiration from basketball culture, the BAPE STA created its own lane, and in the process, ensured every drop would feel special.

This offering is available in three colorways: the original Turquoise Blue, a fan favorite Black and a crisp White. All three pairs keep true to the brand’s signature DNA with a bold side star and debossed APE HEAD heel logo. Luxurious details like silver eyelets and APE HEAD lace dubraes provide additional refinement. That subtle hardware is exactly the type of attention to detail sneakerheads will notice.

Veneda Carter Debuts Nike Air Max Muse “Racer Blue” Collab

UPDATE 9/11/25: Product photos of the Veneda Carter x Nike Air Max Muse “Racer Blue” have been revealed. Global release details are coming soon, while pairs are now available at Dover Street Market Singapore.

Original Story 8/28/25:
The Veneda Carter x Nike Air Max Muse “Racer Blue” continues the stylist’s burgeoning impact on Nike’s lifestyle roster. Carter’s previous drop blurred the lines between streetwear and sneakers by finding a unique way to connect archival silhouettes to the modern moment. The latest effort remains similarly unpredictable.

Presented in a fashion editorial from Vogue Scandinavia, the new Air Max Muse features a high-contrast composition of pristine white leather and breathable Racer Blue mesh. Flowing with a watery fade down the mudguard, the pairing nearly takes on a ripple effect. Metallic Silver Swooshes play up the clean silhouette, while a yellow heel Air unit provides the pop of color that elevates Carter’s collabs beyond typical inline pairs. It’s that subtle differentiation that sneakerheads will find when sizing the release up against her previous Muse.

Previous sneaker selections from Carter have alluded to an archive-knowing DNA. Sneaker enthusiasts will recall how the stylist shined a spotlight on the Air Force 1 “Invisible Woman 2.0” and unearthed a set of retro Deion Sanders trainers. The “Racer Blue” release continues that trend, suggesting Carter is more than just a co-sign, but a recontextualization of Nike models with a particular point of view.

The Veneda Carter x Nike Air Max Muse “Racer Blue” will release on September 2025, retailing for $170 USD. It will launch in women’s sizing through Nike SNKRS and select retailers.

Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Giving Grace” Releases November 2025

The Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Giving Grace” will drop November 2025. After releasing her debut model this year, Reese’s basketball career took flight and Reebok is now responding in kind. Her first signature shoe launches September 18th in a trio of colorways. The initial release is sure to sell out but the brand is upping the ante with a follow-up pack of similar but special designs.

This installment of the Angel Reese 1 reflects a message the athlete holds close. “To me, Giving Grace is about having the strength to keep moving when the road is uncertain, having the courage to rise after setbacks and the kindness to extend grace to others as well as yourself.” That inspiration bleeds over into the colorway.

Constructed in a muted, tonal “Slate Grey” colorway, this offering from Reebok is a sophisticated upgrade to the initial drop. The blended colors across the upper, laces, and sole provide a multidimensional profile with the least amount of fuss possible. In addition, it matches the message by signifying that kicks can be more than just visually interesting—they can also tell a story. That’s what sneakerheads will appreciate about this drop.

The Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Giving Grace” drops November 2025 at Reebok.com and select retail locations for $120 USD.

Miu Miu x New Balance 530 Just Dropped For $1,220

Miu Miu is back with more premium upgrades to the New Balance 530, dropping three new colorways for Fall 2025. The line originally debuted on Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway show, slimming down the silhouette and adding a fashion-first edge to the classic retro runner. The release was so popular it even influenced New Balance to put out the mass-friendly 204L, but there’s nothing like the runway-ready refinement of the original.

Compared to the standard 530’s chunkier ABZORB midsole, the Miu Miu 530 has a lower profile for a sleeker and more elevated aesthetic. The three pairs launched for Fall 2025 include a glossy black patent leather edition, a metallic silver and white edition with gold accents, and a more muted grey suede pair with gum soles. For the first time, the 530 will also feature mesh construction, sneakerhead-approved details that hint at the shoe’s technical runner heritage.

Though their $1,220 retail price point is a bit of a barrier, the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 has left a strong impression on the sneaker community with its luxury-retro balance and high-fashion meets heritage design approach.

The latest trio of Fall 2025 colorways are now available via Miu Miu’s official website.

Kids’ Nike Dunk Low “Abominable Snowman” Now Available (September 2025)

UPDATE 9/11/25: The Nike Dunk Low “Abominable Snowman” is now available at Foot Locker exclusively in pre-school sizes for $80.

Original Story 8/11/25:
Nike has another feel-good holiday release on the way with the Nike Dunk Low “Abominable Snowman” in pre-school sizing. The silhouette is inspired by the infamous snow-loving yeti, also known as the Abominable Snowman, so it makes sense that it’s one of the Nikes colder weather offerings.

While most of the upper is clad in high-pile fuzzy material reminiscent of a yeti’s fur, the smooth Celestine Blue toe box is paired with Green Abyss accents on the Swoosh and lining. Branding on the tongue and heel also feature an icy theme to continue the wintry aesthetic, while the inner message on the tongue, “Make Your Own Tracks” plays into the playful theme of this release.

Nike also included a plush keychain of a smiling yeti holding onto a Swoosh. The keychain, along with the furry construction, are similar in feel to past fan-favorite releases like the Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Pack and “Three Bears” pack, though it’s not a collaboration with the band.

The Nike Dunk Low “Abominable Snowman” will release Holiday 2025 in pre-school sizes for $120 USD. We may also see grade school sizing, but there aren’t any known adult pairs on the way. The Dunks will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers as well as Nike.com.

adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Core Black” Releases November 2025

Following the massive success of Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE 1, the sequel arrives with high expectations. The AE 1 was a near “Sneaker of the Year” contender and became so popular that adidas extended its run, delaying the AE 2 to release more colorways of the original. Nearly two years later, the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 finally debuts, and official images of the sleek “Core Black” colorway have surfaced.

The pair takes an overwhelmingly black base and uses white piping to accent the TPU louvres and heel counter. The black textile midfoot panel, Primeknit collar and neoprene tongue are minimal touches that keep the design looking sleek. It’s only the pops of bright red on Edwards’ personal logo on the tongue and the Three Stripes branding on the heel tab that really bring the contrast. Underfoot, the brand utilizes Lightstrike and Lightboost cushioning technologies, along with a propulsion plate and herringbone traction pattern for explosive performance on the court.

Initial leaks of the AE 2 received a polarizing response with some fans wondering if it could match the hype of its predecessor. Yet, as more official photos and on-foot looks continue to release, sneakerheads are coming around to the design. This “Core Black” rendition, in particular, features a clean and versatile execution that finds the sweet spot between performance and style. It may not have the OG game-changing aura of the AE 1 but is creating its own legacy in adidas Basketball.
