OG Anunoby’s championship season is ending with another career milestone. Skechers has confirmed that the New York Knicks forward will receive his first signature basketball shoe.
The announcement came through an official press release celebrating Anunoby following New York’s 2026 NBA Championship. Skechers has not revealed the shoe’s name, design, technology, price, or release date, but company president Michael Greenberg confirmed that the model is currently in development.
Anunoby became one of Skechers Basketball’s most recognizable players during the Knicks’ playoff run. Several of his player-exclusive colorways also gained attention, including the “NYC Blue” pair worn during his memorable tip-in and the workwear-inspired “Foreman” edition tied to his physical defensive style.

Those moments helped introduce Skechers Basketball to a much wider NBA audience. The brand only entered the performance basketball market in 2023 but has quickly assembled a roster featuring Joel Embiid, Julius Randle, Isaiah Hartenstein, Norman Powell, Terance Mann, and others.
Anunoby will join Embiid as one of the company’s signature athletes.
Born in London and raised in Missouri, Anunoby is now a two-time NBA champion. He earned his first ring with the Toronto Raptors in 2019, although an injury kept him out of that postseason run. His role was far more prominent during New York’s 2026 title campaign.
He also became the first British-born player in NBA history to win multiple NBA championships.
Look for additional details about the OG Anunoby Skechers signature shoe to surface as development continues.
