Arriving September 1st, the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 “Obsidian Grey/Cement” adds another layer of neutrals in muted colorwork.

The mesh upper is provided in the primary Obsidian Grey with silver, dark grey and off-white leather overlays to complete the runner in a well-organized way.

ASICS then infuses a hint of playfulness with champagne accents wrapping the heel panel to deliver understated contrast to the overall tone of the shoe. Nike Vaporposite Pro “Pearl” Foamposite Cleats Releases November 2025

The Nike Vaporposite Pro “Pearl” Foamposite Cleats look to modernize Penny Hardaway’s classic 1997 basketball shoe. Nike is taking the iconic Air Foamposite One “Pearl” and turning it into a high-performance football cleat for Holiday 2025.

Design-wise, it remains faithful to the forward-thinking design of the original. The molded Pearl shell upper is contrasted with black overlays, laces and a sock-like collar for stability. Metallic Swoosh is applied to the side and toe while red branding on the heel tab is a direct reference to Foamposite lineage. These design cues make it easily identifiable to sneakerheads familiar with Penny’s lineup.

The key here is the football-specific tooling. Nike replaces the Foamposite’s signature outsole with a lightweight cleated plate. Aggressive traction and stability come courtesy of translucent blue studs that anchor players to the field. It’s a practical evolution that also preserves the silhouette’s inherent cool factor. In my opinion, Nike has hit the sweet spot – this cleat is both a proper homage and still an effective tool. That’s the level of detail consumers will recognize.

The Vaporposite Pro Foamposite Cleats are yet another addition to Nike’s recent trend of transforming basketball icons into football cleats.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Silver/White” Sample Surfaces

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Silver/White” Sample also referred to as, “Heavy Metal/Anaconda” has surfaced and, of course, more mystery is added to Kanye’s brief, iconic run with Nike. Yes, sneakerheads and fans are familiar with the 2012 “Solar Red” and “Pure Platinum” colorways, but that only highlights just how rare and special this unreleased colorway is.

Featuring a metallic silver forefoot, the prototype has Summit White leather panels on the upper with an embossed anaconda design. The traditional midfoot strap, perforated toe box and sculpted ridged heel remain the same as the Air Yeezy 2. Additional features include hieroglyph-like graphics down the strap, glow-in-the-dark outsoles and “Heavy Metal/Anaconda” labeling. These details are a testament to just how experimental Nike were with this silhouette.

The glow of the outsole directly references the heritage of the original Yeezy 2. You can still spot them down the street. For me, this sample may have even trumped “Pure Platinum” when it comes to instant aesthetic. That metallic, sci-fi finish is so far ahead of its time. That’s what the sneakerheads will be zooming in on first.

This colorway never actually reached stores, but the sample itself proves just how much creative energy went into the Yeezy line. It shows how Kanye’s Nike era was a marriage of high fashion and sports, paving the way for modern lifestyle sneakers. For collectors, it’s like finding a piece of lost history when you spot this unreleased sample.

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Silver/White” Sample will most likely never be re-released and stay in the hands of a few collectors. However, its release provides another interesting “what if” chapter to the most legendary collaborations in sneaker culture.

Jordan Brand is reaching back to one of the NBA’s most emotional moments with the Air Jordan 3 “World’s Best Dad” arriving Summer 2026.

This release honors Michael Jordan’s first championship after returning to basketball—won on Father’s Day in 1996, just three years after the passing of his dad. That day gave us the iconic image of MJ crumpled on the locker room floor, clutching the game ball in tears.

Jayson Tatum’s next chapter with Jordan Brand arrives this fall with the launch of the Jordan Tatum 4. The Celtics forward’s Achilles tear may keep him off the court for now, but his signature collection marches on through 2025.

The Jordan Tatum 4 hints at a more daring direction, initially teased in NBA 2K26. The upcoming colorway is a throwback to the player’s roots that equips the featherweight silhouette in black with streaming white accents and overlays on top of panels of University Red. The design borrows cues from the slim construction of the Tatum 3 and the silhouette of Nike’s Air Flightposite One, creating an overall futuristic but classic vibe. Details to note include Tatum’s signature “JT” logo on the tongue, an oversized red “0” imprinted on the heel, and Jumpman branding across the sides.

No details on the performance are confirmed yet but we anticipate a Cushlon 3.0 midsole with Zoom Air cushioning as was the case on the previous model. That could mean a good balance between cushion and responsiveness, which could make the Tatum 4 another go-to model for those who value a speed/agility set of shoes. I like how the dynamic paneling provides a more aggressive court feel compared to previous iterations. That’s a subtle difference but one that users will appreciate immediately.

FIRST LOOK: SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 (2025)

SoleFly is returning with a fresh collaboration on the Air Jordan 3 for Holiday 2025. The Miami-based boutique first unveiled the pair during Miami Hurricanes vs. Notre Dame for added local flavor. Shop founders Carlos Prieto and Daniel Hidalgo were joined by Hurricanes legends Andre Johnson and Ed Reed to make the drop feel like a hometown event.

This project connects back to SoleFly’s first Jordan Brand collaboration in 2014. That release, a Florida lottery–themed Air Jordan 3, never reached stores and was given only to friends and family. Over time, it became one of the most coveted modern Jordan 3 exclusives. With this 2025 release, sneaker fans finally get a wider opportunity to own a SoleFly 3.

The shoe is a nod to Miami culture. White leather is used for the base shoe, while green suede overlays and orange heel panels are added to the upper, giving off those classic Hurricanes vibes. Cream tonal midsole in an older style finish and the Nike Air logo on the heel of the shoe add to the retro aesthetic. Expect to see SoleFly details on the heel guard of the shoe as well as a co-branded hangtag. Pairs will also come with extra laces in white, green and orange, allowing for personal customization.

Our first impressions are that this sneaker is the perfect balance between the vibrant Miami color palette and the universally recognizable silhouette of the Air Jordan 3. That balance between local flavor and Jordan Brand heritage is what has us feeling like this is one of the year’s most exciting drops.

September 2025 is stacked with Air Jordan releases, blending new colorways and retro favorites. This month offers something for every sneaker fan, from lifestyle trainers to historic retros.

The month kicks off on September 3rd with the Jordan Trunner LX “Luminous Green”, a loud and proud training silhouette re-emerging in neon colors. Two days later, the Air Jordan 4 TD Cleat “White Cement” combines heritage and on-field performance.

On September 6th, Jordan Brand maintains the pace with the Air Jordan 4 “Cave Stone”, as it’s rendered in earthy neutrals and premium construction. Following up a few days later on September 9th is the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Baroque Brown”, an offering that blends rich tones with a vintage aesthetic, presented in women’s sizing.

September’s mid-month release is the highly anticipated Air Jordan 5 Fire Red “Black Tongue” on September 13. This classic Jordan 5 is one of the most memorable retros in sneaker history. Then, the focus will turn to September 20, which is a big release day. Sneakerheads will see drops like the Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Military Blue” releasing solely on Travis Scott’s website, the Air Jordan 3 Mexico “El Vuelo” celebrating Mexican heritage and culture, and the performance-oriented Air Jordan 40 “Dusty Rose”.

Ending the month, September 27th brings back a grail: The Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo”. A nod to the adored 2011 model, this re-release puts those iconic yellow uppers and culturally driven details back on your feet.
