Nike’s revived Air Force 1 ’01 is already building out a stronger story beyond its return with Nigo. The early-2000s version of the classic AF1 is now tied to Victor Victor, the streetwear label founded by music executive Steven Victor.

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was previously seen wearing black and yellow Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1 ’01 colorways during the NBA Finals. LeBron James debuted the “Court Purple” edition, while Steven Victor himself along with DJ Khaled and Odell Beckham Jr. were all spotted with the latest “University Red” pair.

This latest version comes dressed in University Red leather with clean White Swooshes and Black outsoles, following the same bold color-blocking approach seen on the earlier pairs. The Victor Victor dog logo appears on the insoles, while a stitched dog motif is also placed on the lateral side, giving the collaboration its main branded detail without overloading the design.

The Nike Air Force 1 ’01 brings back the beefier shape and extra padding that helped define the model during the early 2000s, an era many AF1 fans still consider one of the shoe’s strongest runs.

Bugs Bunny Replaces MJ on the Jordan Space Jam Wings Shirt

The Jordan Space Jam Bugs Bunny Wings T-Shirt pulls from one of the most recognizable images tied to Michael Jordan’s playing career. Bugs Bunny takes over the familiar pose, standing with his arms stretched wide while palming a basketball in his right paw. The white tank top keeps the connection to the original Wings poster easy to spot.

Large “WINGS” lettering runs above the image, with “Why hop, when you can fly” printed underneath. The design does not stray far from the old layout, and that is really the point. Most of the change comes from placing Bugs at the center and linking the shirt to the 30th anniversary of Space Jam.

A Jordan x Space Jam anniversary logo appears at the back collar, pairing the Jumpman with the Looney Tunes rings. The shirt is also part of the larger Jordan Brand x Space Jam 30th Anniversary Apparel Collection.

Black and white colorways will release in Fall 2026 alongside the Air Jordan 9 “Space Jam” through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers.

Nike Giannis Freak 8 “The Academy” PE Surfaces

The Academy has taken over Los Angeles for another invite-only showcase featuring some of the country’s top young basketball talent. The event is also bringing out a fresh batch of exclusive sneakers, including a Giannis Freak 8 made just for the occasion.

This “The Academy” PE comes dressed in bright yellow and dark green, giving it a look that feels straight out of Oakland. Yellow covers most of the upper, laces, and midsole, while green takes over the tongue and the large panel running through the center of the shoe.

Custom branding helps set the pair apart from regular Freak 8 releases. The Academy’s circular basketball logo appears on the tongue and heel, linking the colorway directly to the Los Angeles event.

NBA shooting coach Chris Matthews, better known as Lethal Shooter, gave the sneakers an early on-court look during the opening day of the showcase.

The Nike Giannis Freak 8 “The Academy” PE is not expected to release to the public. The Freak 8 made its retail debut in late July 2026.

Hellstar Turns the adidas Adizero Electric II Into a Flame-Covered Football Cleat

Hellstar is taking its adidas partnership onto the football field with two Adizero Electric II cleats. The Los Angeles label follows its recent Megaride S2 release with a black/red version and a white/black pair, both built around the flame graphics that have become a regular part of its work.

The pattern runs across the sides and over the toe on each cleat, though the two colorways handle it differently. Red gradient mesh sits beneath the dark overlays on the black pair, with white Three Stripes breaking up the upper. The white version uses black flames, silver panels, and a dark collar, giving the same design a much lighter finish.

Hellstar branding appears on the tongues and insoles, while adidas logos are worked into the footbeds. Larger co-branded graphics also show through the translucent outsoles. Underneath all of that, the Adizero Electric II keeps its low-cut football build and molded stud plate.

Born X Raised x Vans Authentic 44 Pack Releases Spring 2027

Born X Raised gave fans an early look at its next Vans project during a community event at House of Vans Mexico City on August 1. The flea market-style gathering included a special Authentic 44 made only for the occasion, with just 50 pairs produced for friends and family.

Designed by Born X Raised co-founder Alex “2Tone” Erdmann, the CDMX-exclusive pair arrives in white and blue with hand-drawn graphics spread across the canvas upper. An open chain sits beside “Una Cuadra A La Vez,” the Spanish translation of the label’s “One Block at a Time” slogan. Tlaloc, the Aztec god of rain, also appears in the artwork, while “Distrito Federal” is written across the right heel.

That Mexico City colorway will remain exclusive to the event, but the same hand-sketched style will continue across the wider Born X Raised x Vans Authentic 44 collection. White, black, and blue versions were previewed during Paris Fashion Week ahead of their planned retail launch.

Distressed canvas, scuffed edges, and yellowed midsoles give each pair the appearance of a shoe that has already been worn for years. The uppers are covered with pen-style drawings, including brick walls around the toe and heel, spiders, webs, teardrops, “OFF THE WALL” lettering, and scattered paint marks.

A matching apparel range will release alongside the footwear. The collection includes a washed black hoodie and sweatpants, black and blue graphic T-shirts, a mesh football jersey finished with Born X Raised’s Old English branding, and khaki pants.

The Born X Raised x Vans Authentic 44 collection will release during Spring/Summer 2027 through Born X Raised, Vans.com, and select retailers.

aespa’s KARINA Signs With Converse and Introduces the Chuck 70 X

KARINA is helping introduce two new Converse models, putting the Run Star Crush alongside the first detailed look at the Chuck 70 X. The K-pop star appears in the campaign as Converse gives both shoes a modern update, though the results are noticeably different.

The Converse Run Star Crush makes the bigger change. A thick, runner-inspired sole sits under the familiar canvas upper, giving the shoe a much bulkier shape than a standard Chuck. Extra padding around the collar adds more structure. Black and white canvas colorways keep one foot in Converse tradition, while cracked silver leather and brown pony hair versions take the model somewhere less expected.

Changes to the Converse Chuck 70 X are easier to miss at first. Dual-star branding appears near the toe bumper, the ankle patch has been reworked in leather, and aged details run through the design. Converse also added a tongue stabilizer and more cushioning, two practical updates that should matter more in wear than they do in photos.

Both high-top and low-top versions of the Chuck 70 X are on the way in several two-tone colorways.

The Converse Run Star Crush is available now. Following its launch in China and Korea, the Converse Chuck 70 X releases globally on August 27, 2026.

Fresh Rags x adidas Handball Spezial “Boiled Peanuts” Releases August 8th

Boiled peanut stands have been part of Southern road trips for generations, and Fresh Rags is using that familiar roadside scene for its first collaboration with adidas. The Tampa retailer has reworked the Handball Spezial around the regional snack, naming the release “Hot Boiled Peanuts.”

The idea comes from the gas stations, neighborhood stores, and roadside stops where warm bags of boiled peanuts are still easy to find throughout Florida and the South. Often called “Southern Caviar,” the snack gives the full capsule its name and keeps the project tied closely to the culture Fresh Rags grew up around.

Colors, materials, and textures across the shoe were chosen to reflect the experience of pulling over somewhere along a Florida backroad for a fresh bag. Tampa Bay also gets a direct nod through the production run, which is limited to 813 individually numbered pairs in reference to the city’s 813 area code.

Matching apparel will be available during a roadside-themed stop-and-shop event at Coastal Creative, located at 2201 1st Ave S in St. Petersburg. The Burg Food Mart will serve complimentary hot boiled peanuts, while DJ Joey Franchize and special guests provide music throughout the event.

Air Jordan 9 Low “What The Kilroy” Brings The Whole Crew Back

The Air Jordan 9 Low “What The Kilroy” takes the entire 2012 Kilroy Pack and folds it into one mismatched release. Rather than bringing back all six pairs one by one, Jordan Brand pulled pieces from each of Michael Jordan’s fictional alter egos and spread them across a single low-top.

The left shoe carries a mostly black build with dark blue wrapping the lower half, orange along the midsole, yellow lining, and white laces. Its opposite goes in a completely different direction with red leather, black overlays, light blue lining, and black laces. Both sides are loaded with smaller callbacks, so the design makes more sense the longer you look at it.

Back in 2012, some of those characters only appeared for a few seconds at a time, but the names stuck. Johnny Kilroy, Motorboat Jones, Bentley Ellis, Slim Jenkins, Calvin Bailey, and Fontay Montana each received their own Air Jordan 9, turning a strange piece of Jordan lore into one of the more memorable themed packs from that era. Fourteen years later, every pair has a hand in this release, making the “What The Kilroy” the closest the full series has come to returning.

The tongue tags spell out those names across the left and right shoes, almost like a checklist showing where the mismatched colors came from. Three stacked Jumpman logos appear on the insoles, while the heels switch between “23” and “4” embroidery. “KILROY WAS HERE” is printed behind the tongues, tying the low-top back to the original campaign.

Nike Air DT Max 96 Low “White” Releases August 7th

Nike is keeping Deion Sanders’ retro collection going with the Air DT Max ’96 Low in “White/Metallic Silver.” This shoe is a more streamlined version of one of his most recognizable signature models. The shoes are scheduled for a August 7, 2026 release, retailing at $170.

Designed with warmer climates in mind, the low-top maintains the combative silhouette and stacked design of its predecessor, but trims some excess weight around the ankle. White leather makes up the upper, featuring off-white underlays that peek out from the shoe’s sharp cutouts.

The Swoosh gets a Metallic Silver sheen, with Light Smoke Grey detailing the branding and the visible Air unit. A White midsole along with rubber outsole ties into the mostly monochromatic colorway.

The release comes as Nike continues to double down on Sanders’ shoe archive. Since reuniting with the Hall of Famer, Nike has revitalized the Air DT Max ’96, Air Diamond Turf and Air Diamond Turf 2. Transitioning the DT Max into a low-top offers the collection a more casual silhouette without sacrificing the vintage-inspired look.

Nike Ja 4 “Radar” Takes On a Thermal Heat Map Look

The Nike Ja 4 is starting to surface in more colorways, and this “Radar” pair is easily one of the busiest so far. Its upper looks like a thermal scan, with red, yellow, aqua, and blue bleeding across a deep purple base.

Bright orange covers the oversized Swooshes and the sharp support pieces running through the midsole. Those parts stand out immediately, but there is a lot happening elsewhere too. Black laces with orange trim sit over a black tongue, while the collar, outsole, and smaller sections around the shoe use the same dark finish.

The Ja 4 itself moves away from the softer shape of the Ja 3. It has a more angular build, heavily textured material, and larger pieces around the midfoot and heel. Morant’s branding appears on the tongues and underfoot, including repeated “12” markings across the orange sections of the outsole.

The Nike Ja 4 “Radar” is expected to release in October 2026 through Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers. Men’s pairs will retail for $140, while grade school sizing will be priced at $115.

A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 “White On White” Returns August 7th

A Ma Maniére’s all-white Air Force 1 Low is coming back after making its first appearance last summer. From a distance, it looks close to the usual “Triple White” pair, but the differences start to show once you get a better look at the shoe.

White leather covers the upper, with thicker panel edges giving the design a more defined shape. The Swoosh is built with an extra layer underneath, and A Ma Maniére branding is pressed into the midsole near the heel. A slightly translucent outsole sits below, adding just enough contrast without taking away from the all-white look.

This Air Force 1 was originally released through A Ma Maniére’s “Every Summer Tells a Story” collection. There is nothing loud about the colorway, and that is really the point. Most of the difference comes from the paneling, layered details, and small branding touches rather than a complete redesign.

Nike Air More Uptempo OG “Black/White” Releases August 21st

The Nike Air More Uptempo “Black/White” is making another comeback for Fall 2026. With huge “AIR” lettering stretching across the sides, the shoe became one of the defining Nike Basketball designs of the 1990s and remains closely linked to Scottie Pippen’s playoff run.

For the 2026 release, Nike is using the same SKU as the 2023 retro, which featured a shape and construction closer to the original 1996 pair. Black nubuck covers the upper, while white piping outlines the massive lettering along both sides for the shoe’s familiar high-contrast look.

Additional details include a black jeweled Swoosh on the heel and full-length Air cushioning underfoot. Although the Air More Uptempo was originally built for basketball, its bulky sole and aggressive profile eventually made it just as popular away from the court.

Nike Air Max 95 “Ashen Slate” Layers Up in Midnight Navy

Cool blue shades take over the Nike Air Max 95 for a new “Ashen Slate/Midnight Navy” colorway expected during Fall 2026. The pair keeps the model’s familiar gradient layout, but uses different blue tones and textures to separate each layer across the upper.

Light Armoury Blue mesh covers the base and gives the shoe a lighter starting point. From there, the wavy side panels move through Ashen Slate and deeper navy shades, with a mix of suede and textile materials adding some texture. Rough edges along a few of the overlays make those layers stand out a little more without changing the original shape of the Air Max 95.

Midnight Navy appears around the toe, laces, eyestays, and inner lining. The same darker shade continues on the lower portion of the upper, while small embroidered Swooshes near the heel bring back the lighter blue. Air Max branding appears on the tongue, and Nike Air logos finish the back of each shoe.

A black midsole sits underneath with visible Air cushioning in the forefoot and heel. The rear Air unit carries a slight blue tint, matching the upper, while a black rubber outsole finishes the pair.

This Nike Zoom Vomero 5 and Nike P-6000 Pack Give Off Wicked Vibes

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 and P-6000 are showing up in two women’s colorways that feel like part of the same release. One leans heavily into Barely Green, while the other is covered in Pink Foam, giving the pair a color combination that naturally brings Elphaba and Glinda from Wicked to mind.

Sail, Barely Green, Pink Rise, and Cucumber Calm make up the Vomero 5 colorway. Green runs through most of the mesh and synthetic upper, with lighter Sail details around the midsole and other sections of the shoe. Pink Rise appears on the insoles, which is where the connection to the P-6000 becomes more obvious.

The P-6000 takes the opposite approach with Sail, Pink Foam, Fierce Green, and Pink Rise. Several shades of pink cover the layered upper and sole, while Fierce Green lands on the insoles. Each pair also comes with a small sneaker-shaped charm in the other shoe’s main color, adding another link between the two releases.

New Balance 1954R “Tropical” Pack Mixes Bright Soles With Black and White Uppers

The New Balance 1954R “Tropical” Pack puts most of its color below the upper, but the two pairs get there in different ways. The white version stays light and layered, while the black pair uses a darker base against a much brighter sole.

White mesh covers the “Tropical White”, joined by off-white suede and leather overlays across the toe, midfoot, and heel. The upper is fairly restrained. Underneath, deep teal fades into mint before meeting translucent amber ABZORB pods, pale pink accents, and yellow along the outsole.

The “Tropical Black” uses black mesh, suede, tonal N logos, and glossy overlays, with a matching heel cage finishing the upper. Its sole is less blended and more blocked out, mixing yellow, burgundy, pink, aqua, and white across the cushioning and traction sections.

Open mesh, suede mudguards, N-Lock branding, embroidered 1954R details, sculpted heel support, and full-length ABZORB cushioning appear on both colorways.

New Balance 991 “Essential” Pack Brings Two Everyday Colorways for Fall 2026

Two additional colorways for the New Balance 991 are incoming this Fall 2026 as part of the shoe’s Made in UK “Essential” series. The collection drops in Black and Grey colorways, each offering subtle design changes while maintaining the silhouettes traditional construction of layered suede uppers, leather overlays, and toned-down colorways.

Constructed primarily from dark suede, the Black pair features grey leather to contrast the shoe’s upper across the toe, collar, and heel. The branding features white “N” logos embroidered against the shoe and contrasted further with reflective silver trim. Specks of that reflective silver continue down into the forefoot of the shoe, complemented by light grey rope-style laces. Below, an off-white ABZORB midsole is met with olive-grey support pods and a black rubber outsole.

Switching to cooler blue-grey hues, the Grey/Navy combination reverses the colouring of its upper. Dark suede makes up most of the shoe’s larger sections while lighter grey leather finds itself underneath. Similar to its Black counterpart, reflective trim is worked into the branding across the heel as well as the forefoot of the shoe. White laces and side logos help brighten the shoe further, while a cream-hued midsole gives the shoe a washed-out appearance. At the heel, traditional “991” branding is embroidered, while the molded supports are consistent with past colorways.
