adidas Originals “Pride” Pack

adidas Originals celebrates LGBT Pride this month with the release of a limited-edition footwear series- The Pride Pack.

adidas Originals has taken three of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes and re-imagined them for this special delivery. Replete with detail, each style in the pack draws inspiration from the LGBT pride rainbow flag, a symbol of equality and inclusiveness that signifies the diversity of the LGBT community.

Texture and movement are captured in each iteration; multi-colored paint trickles through the perforations in the Stan Smith; the upper of the adilette Slide is saturated in varying hues, leaving the three stripes fully visible; and the Superstar’s sole is doused in paint splatter, giving the impression of having stomped through a spectrum of color.

This attention to detail extends to the inside of the Stan Smith and Superstar models as well, with both styles featuring vividly, color-saturated insoles.

To help commemorate the launch, adidas will be donating a portion of the Pride Pack’s sales to its hometown neighbor, Portland’s New Avenues for Youth, a local advocacy group that helps empower homeless and LGBT youth to build life skills for a successful future.

Launching June 6th, the adidas Originals Pride Pack will be available at adidas Originals stores, adidas.com/originals and select adidas Originals retail partners. Both adidas Superstar and Stan Smith will be retailed for $100 USD and the adilette Slide retails for $50 USD.

Ewing Rogue “Hornets” Drops June 5th

The Ewing Rogue is making a return this June in its brand new Ewing Rogue “Hornets” colorway.

This upcoming Ewing Rogue is dressed in the Charlotte Hornets colors, which is the team Patrick Ewing is currently working as an assistant coach for. The shoe is fully covered in a Plush Purple upper, with Black nubuck underlays, while Teal accents add for a nice pop that is seen on the tongue, strap and heel branding, as well as the inner interior. Finishing off the shoe is a speckled gradient midsole and Purple outsole.

Nike Sportswear continues to push several Nike Air Max silhouettes and colorways and now the recent Nike Air Max Tavas Essential “Midnight Navy” is the latest to drop.

The shoe is built with its standard mesh and pressure fused upper with suede detailing covering the heel. Fully dressed in a mixture of Midnight Navy and Armory Slate, that includes White hitting the Nike Swoosh logos and outsole.

Quai 54 Nike Air Force 1 Flight Huarache

Nike has just added the Nike Air Force 1 High CMFT Premium and Nike Air Flight Huarache Premium to their “Quai 54” lineup.

These Quai 54 Nike releases both have a unique styled designed. The Nike Air Force 1 High CMFT PRM has an all-over printed graphic base that has an iridescent aesthetic effect offset by a tonal Nike Swoosh, White midsole and icy translucent outsole. The Nike Air Flight Huarache sports a full iridescent effect upper without any specific design with Black overlays and detailing sitting atop an icy translucent outsole.

As of right now it’s unsure if both pairs will be a Euro-exclusive release, or if they’ll be globally available like the Nike LeBron Soldier 9. Either way, they drop on June 6th to select Nike Sportswear retailers.

Calvin Johnson’s Nike CJ3 Flyweave Trainer is set to release in a few new colorways for the month of June 2015.

Built with the Nike Flyweave technology that was famously used on the Air Jordan XX9, the Nike CJ3 Flyweave Trainer references his home state with a “Georgia Peaches” pair and a colorful multicolored version.

Both pairs are set to being releasing on June 5th, followed by a June 26th launch, but it appears that both are now available for purchase through Jimmy Jazz.

The latest adidas Originals Tubular model set to release later this year is the adidas Tubular Trainer version.

With no ties to Kanye West other than the Three Stripes, this newly adidas Tubular Trainer first surfaces in a Red and White colorway. The shoe features an all-Red upper that includes fused detailing near the toe, with a Trefoil adidas logo printed on the back heel. The tongue tag branding is done in White as well as the traditional Tubular sole.
