While details remain limited, the sneaker’s tooling resembles the midsole found on the New Balance 2010, particularly with the visible ABZORB SBS cushioning pods in the heel. However, the upper design looks noticeably different from the 2010, hinting that this could be a new direction for Bronson’s ongoing partnership with the brand.

Neutral colorways have been a staple of the silhouette’s longevity, particularly when small design details help well-known shapes feel new. Nike accomplishes just that with the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sail/Linen” slated for Spring 2026.

The sleek leather upper comes dressed in a combination of Sail and Light Ivory hues, giving the AF1 a muted, worn-out appearance while still looking modern. Simple paneling across the toe box, midfoot and heel allows the silhouette’s signature shape to do most of the talking. Jordan Brand’s nostalgia wave keeps gaining steam as iconic colorways are fitted to fresh silhouettes. The Jordan Spizike Low “Infrared” is the latest release to capitalize on that momentum.

A layered mix of Dark Grey, Black, Cement Grey, and Infrared gives the design a clear connection to Jordan’s classic “Infrared” lineage. Smooth dark grey leather sets the base, while black mesh windows across the midfoot add breathability and reference design DNA seen throughout the Air Jordan archive. Structural black wings wrap the collar area, reinforcing the Spizike’s signature hybrid construction.

That tension now shapes the Air Jordan 4028, a Summer 2026 release that merges the Air Jordan 40 platform with the unmistakable fold-down shroud of the XX8. The result reads less like a tribute and more like a calculated evolution of two eras.

A zippered cover wraps the forefoot, concealing bold “2” and “3” graphics that only appear when unsealed. Underneath, a Volt interior directly recalls the Air Jordan XX8s launch palette, while the sculpted midsole and lower collar keep the silhouette aligned with modern performance preferences. Glossy patent panels sit against matte textiles, creating contrast without visual clutter.
