Detailed Look at the Feature x Saucony Courageous “Bacon & Eggs”

Feature and Saucony team up once again to release a tasteful collaboration using the classic Courageous silhouette.

This Feature x Saucony Courageous collab is inspired by America’s favorite breakfast staple, bacon & eggs.

Built with a satin and washed suede upper with nubuck panels in off-White and Pink accents. Saucony’s “S” logo is done in Pink leather, while the medial side sees off-White leather paired with pink 3M reflective dots for a contrasting touch. Feature branding is placed along the TPU heel counter, as well as on the custom woven tongue label and atop the bacon & egg graphic insoles.

Other details include a reflective tongue trim and heel tab, intricate overstitching on the rear panel, and a speckled midsole. To go along with the release, the collab will also include matching trees and hoodies.

Look for the Feature x Saucony Courageous “Bacon & Eggs” to release on Saturday, December 10th, 2016 online at 10AM PST/1PM EST and in-store at 11AM PST. The retail price tag is set at $120 USD.

Nike Sportswear has debuted the brand new Nike Air Presto Mid Utility Wolf Grey colorway that hitting retailers now.

Featuring blends of Grey throughout that’s detailed with Black laces, semi-translucent cage overlay on the heel, zippers access built with mesh and neoprene. A compression molded phylon foam sole adds for comfort, while a plastic toe cap gives the shoe more stability.

adidas EQT Support “Turbo Pack” Spring 2017

adidas Originals will be debuting a brand new adidas EQT Support Turbo Pack as part of their Spring 2017 lineup.

The pack includes two colorways of the adidas EQT Support ADV and two of the adidas EQT Support RF silhouettes. All four releases come dressed in a Black, White and Turbo contrasting accents throughout.

A specific release date has yet to be set, but you can look for the adidas EQT Support “Turbo Pack” to release this Spring 2017 at select adidas Originals retail stores.

Norse Projects x New Balance Rainer Danish Weather 2.0 Pack

New Balance teams up with Copenhagen’s own Norse Projects for a second installment to their “Danish Weather” collection.

The first installment came in 2013 with a duo of the 1500 silhouette, but this year they go with a different direction with New Balance’s newly retroed Rainer model.

The pack is inspired by the shoreline topography of coastal Denmark during the winter months and is equipped with 80’s original Vibram sole and D-ring lacing system along with a GORE-TEX construction. Accents of nubuck and ripstop nylon paneling offer added protection against the elements.

You can now find the “Danish Weather 2.0″ Pack in its “Husk” and “Blue Graphite” colorways available in-store and online at Feature. The retail price tag is set at $190 USD each.

Originally introduced in the ’50s, the adidas Samba was actually designed as a soccer shoe. But as years went on, the model became more appealing for skateboarding.

A Look at Three Never-Before-Seen Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Prototypes

Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Prototypes Sample Designs

The innovative, auto-lacing Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is a futuristic concept that took years of design refinement and testing to actualize. Tiffany Beers, Senior Innovator, NIKE, Inc., illuminates the HyperAdapt 1.0’s technical and aesthetic evolution in the latest edition of Behind the Design, which features a look at three never-before-seen prototypes.

“The white pair is the first underfoot prototype, which matches Tinker’s first round of sketching. This shoe was a completely new mechanism. We tried some different things, and all five laces were being pulled at the same time in this version. It was also the first time we used Nike Flyweave and Nike Flywire as part of the fit system. The fit on this shoe was incredible,” says Tiffany.

“With the next black prototype, we tried to hide the mechanism more. Tinker lowered the collar height from the first round of sketching, and got further from the Nike Mag design,” reveals Tiffany. “This was our first time trying to make multiple mechanisms based on the new tech we built. Only two laces were being pulled, unlike the five in the first prototype.”

“Ultimately, we worked to hide the auto-lacing mechanics in the second round. In the third round, however, we went back to the first prototype’s design and exposed it in a plate in order to keep the weight down and have a smoother transition. This particular shoe is one of the final rounds of prototypes that we called the ‘stealth’ we did tons of testing on this shoe with lots of weartesters. We kept it stealth so that people could use it more without getting questions about what they were wearing.”

Nike is giving us another chance to purchase the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 self-lacing sneaker this weekend, on December 17th.

In order to secure your pair, you’ll have to make an appointment at Nike NYC, LA, SF and Chicago locations. Customers must sign up for appointments at each of the respective stores in-order to purchase the shoes.
