Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 4 “Toro”

Jordan Brand debuted the Air Jordan 4 Toro Bravo back in July 2013 with a retail price tag at $160 USD. Using the nickname, “Toro” from the Air Jordan 5, this Air Jordan 4 became a popular non-OG colorway of the retro model.

It was Carmelo Anthony’s exclusive “Red Suede” pair that originally got fans excited for this release, but once we realized the retail version wasn’t going to be an exact same pair, we were a little disappointed.

Still a solid release, this Air Jordan 4 featured a Fire Red upper with Black, White and Cement Grey contrasting accents.

How many of you slept on this release? Since Jordan Brand seems to have a hard time selling out on their retro releases, should they finally consider releasing Melo’s “Red Suede” pair?

How the PSNY x Air Jordan 15 Looks On-Feet

Public School New York (PSNY) will be revealing their next Air Jordan Collection, which includes this PSNY Air Jordan 15 during the New York Fashion Week festivities.

PSNY’s iteration of the Air Jordan 15 features a full suede upper that replaces the shoe’s signature woven material. Their “We Need Leaders” logo is seen on the tongues, while sitting atop a solid White rubber sole for a clean aesthetic look.

Michigan Shows Every Air Jordan Retro in Maize and Blue

One of the newest and hottest Air Jordan Retro Collection comes from the Michigan Wolverines. We’ve already took a look a majority of the collection in detail, not to mention those sick “Fab 5” PEs.

Today, we get another look at only a select few from the collection. Shown here Linebacker, by Charles Thomas are the Air Jordan 3, 7, 10, 11, and 12 PEs. All decked out in a College Navy and Amarillo (Yellow) color scheme.

But as usual, this image makes a lot of people angry due to the fact that none of these will ever become available. Therefore, we ask the question, is it time for Jordan Brand to release one of their Michigan Retro Air Jordans?

Today, we take a look at this never-before-seen sample that comes dressed in Grey, Yellow and Black color tones. Featuring a Grey Flyknit upper with Yellow contrasting accents highlighted on the Nike Swoosh logo sitting atop a full-length VaporMax sole unit.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have unveiled their Nike LeBron Soldier 11 Cleats that their players will be wearing for Saturday’s home opener against Oklahoma.

This cleated-version of the Nike LeBron Soldier 11 comes dressed in the schools Scarlet Red and White color scheme that also features logos on the cross-straps and pull-tabs. Finishing off the design is a Metallic Red cleat plate.

Detailed Look at the KITH x Nike LeBron 15 “Floral”

While we recently spotted a first look at the Nike LeBron 15, we now get another iteration of LeBron James’ 15th signature shoe on the feet of Maverick Carter via Victor Cruz’s Instagram story.

This Nike LeBron 15 features a White-based upper covered in Floral embroidery atop a matching White rubber sole. The shoe also included Gold zippers down the middle of the tongue that comes constructed in the BattleKnit and BattleMax technology.

While LeBron James will be walking the runway tonight for the KITH x Nike Collection, you can expect these or possible another iteration of the LeBron 15 to be spotted tonight.

Nike Officially Introduces the LeBron 15

Debuted in the KITH Sport Fashion Show, Nike Basketball now officially introduces LeBron James’ 15th signature shoe, the LeBron 15. Designed by Jason Petrie, the shoe features evolved Flyknit construction and an advanced cushioning system — both articulated for the greatest player in the world.

“This is my favorite shoe to date,” says James. “The performance benefits and sophisticated look make this shoe a force on and off the court.”

The shoe’s key innovations include a next-generation Flyknit construction that provides strategic stretch, a locked-in fit and durability. Underfoot is a fully articulated cushioning system that combines Max Air and Zoom Air units, while a full-bootie construction offers a secure, one-to-one fit.

“The number-one thing people should know about the LeBron 15 is that this new Nike Flyknit is something that’s never been done in a performance shoe,” notes James. “It looks great, too. Since Jason and I started working on the LeBron 7, we have always talked about how we not only want to have the top, top, top notch in performance, we want style, as well. We have a desire to create shoes that makes all people feel good when they put it on.”

adidas YEEZY Releases Postponed

Looks like there will be a bit of a change in the upcoming adidas Yeezy footwear lineup that includes the “”Beluga 2.0″, Semi-Frozen Yellow”, the “Blue Tint” colorways.

According to Yeezy Mafia: the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Beluga 2.0” will now release in December, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Semi-Frozen Yellow” will now release in November, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Blue Tint” will still release in December and there’s something different scheduled to release in October taking the place of the “Beluga 2.0”.

You can also expect the adidas Yeezy PowerPhase in “Black” and “Grey” to release late-December – early-January.

As of now, we have no word on what this “mystery” release in October will be. We’ll keep you updated with the latest as it develops.

Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan 8 Cement aka Bred inspired by the classic Air Jordan 4 silhouette. While the Air Jordan 8 has its own iconic colorways, this season, it gets reimagined with colorways more typically associated with classics from other silhouettes in the Jordan line.

Dressed in a Black, Gym Red and Wolf Grey color scheme. This Air Jordan 8 features a combination of Black leather and suede throughout its upper with Cement Grey detailing. Gym Red accents covers the shoe’s tongue and outsole with the year “1993” on the back tabs as a nod to MJ’s first Three-Peat with the Chicago Bulls.

In this week’s Release Report Supreme drops their latest collaboration with Nike, the Swoosh debuted their newest Presto model and adidas releases four colorways of the Tennis Hu as well as their White Mountaineering Collection.

Kicking off the week was the Supreme x Nike SB Air Force 2 Pack, while Nike dropped their $400 Air Max 97 silhouette filled with Swarovski crystals.

For Friday, adidas drops some new adidas NMDs, Nike debuts the Presto X and the popular “Island Green” Nike Air Foamposite finally becomes available.

Completing this week’s releases is the BAIT x Diadora x Transformers Collection, four new adidas Tennis Hu colorways, the White Mountaineering x adidas Collection, and Jordan Brand release their first-ever Air Jordan 1 Flyknit release in the “Banned” colorway.
