2. AIR JORDAN 11 “CONCORD”

Air Jordan 11 Concord

We haven’t seen the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” since its re-release in 2011. For 2017, Jordan Brand is bringing back the iconic release in true-form that could also include “45” on the heels. Lets hope they go back to the low cut patent leather (pictured) instead of the new high cut.

Air Jordan 3 Black Cement 2018 Retro Nike Air

Our personal most anticipated release for 2018 is the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” that will be returning with Nike Air and all on February 17th. Count me down for 3 pairs minimum.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

Air Jordan 33, Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shadow”, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike signature shoe, and the adidas Dame 4 “BAPE” Pack.

Air Jordan 11 “Wheat” Sample

Jordan Brand debuted their Air Jordan Wheat Collection that included the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 6, and Air Jordan 13 during Fall 2017.

Today, we take a look at an Air Jordan 11 Wheat Sample that never released to the public. This unreleased Air Jordan 11 features a Wheat suede upper, textured patent leather overlay paired with a Metallic Gold Jumpman logo on the ankle collar. Completing the design is a White midsole and Gum semi-translucent outsole.

As far as these releasing, it doesn’t look like Jordan Brand has plans for a retail release anytime soon. Get a full look below and let us know what you guys think of the Air Jordan 11 Wheat Sample in the comments section.

Top 10 Sneaker Releases of 2017

2017 was another big year in sneakers that included some exclusive drops as well as a few classic collaborative releases.

While Kanye West continued to do his thing, it was Virgil Abloh that took over by dropping a 10 sneaker collab with Nike, and literally flipped the sneaker world upside-down. KAWS also added to the craziness of 2017 with two highly demanded Air Jordan 4s.

With that being said, here’s our Top 10 Sneaker Releases of 2017. Let us know what your list was in the comments section.

Jordan Brand took the original Air Jordan 1 “Royal” and gave them the remastered makeover with a mix of smooth and premium textured leather. Putting them in the Top 5 was only right.

3. OFF-WHITE X AIR JORDAN 1

Off-White Jordan 1

Virgil Abloh’s, Off-White brand, and Nike come together to bring us “The Ten” Collection which was divided into two themes. The “REVEALING” and the “GHOSTING.” This Air Jordan 1 delivered in all aspects, which is why it comes in at number 3.

2. KAWS X AIR JORDAN 4

Kaws Jordan 4

While there were two KAWS x Air Jordan 4 releases, the Black pair was our personal favorite that debuted during the holiday season.

1. OFF-WHITE X NIKE AIR PRESTO

Off-White Nike Presto

By far, Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Nike Air Presto is hands down our number 1 sneaker release of 2017. A shoe that’s stylish and can be worn for any occasion. We’re defiantly looking forward to what’s to come from Off-White and Nike in 2018.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

NIKE ZOOM FLY SP

ADIDAS NMD HU TRAIL “N.E.R.D”

Nerd adidas Hu Race Trail

Another ComplexCon exclusive that was limited to only 300 pairs was Pharrell’s adidas NMD Hu Trail “N.E.R.D” release. This adidas NMD was a no-brainer and easily became one of the most-hyped releases at ComplexCon 2017.

Nike Air Humara ’17 Premium “Camo” Pack

Nike Air Humara Premium Camo Pack

After a collaborative collection with Supreme, the Nike Air Humara is expected to have a bigger year in 2018 with a few new renditions of the silhouette.

Better Air Jordan 4: Eminem’s “Encore” or “Undefeated”

The Air Jordan 4 was involved in two exclusive collaborations in 2005, Eminem’s “Encore” Air Jordan 4 and the “Undefeated” Air Jordan 4.

The Eminem Air Jordan 4 Encore was limited to only 50 pairs that were given to Eminem’s friends and family to celebrate his 2004 album Encore.

Undefeated’s Air Jordan 4 debuted in 2005 and was limited to only 72 pairs. This marked the first time Jordan Brand teamed up for a collaboration with a third party.
