UK’s size? has teamed up with ASICS Tiger to release the Gel Lyte OG silhouette that pays tribute to the brands Japanese roots.

Dubbed, “34 Views” that reflects the paintings of celebrated Ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai, with the palette picking hues from his legendary block-printed series of artworks that captured Mount Fuji from varying viewpoints around Japan.

The ASICS Gel Lyte OG features innovative details throughout, including a water resistant suede upper, ripstop toebox, and featured for the very first time on this silhouette, branded pull tabs on both the tongue and heel. The water-resistant suede and ripstop upper draws reference to the bodies of water featured within several of the paintings from the series of Hokusai works, in particular the infamous ‘Great Wave’ featured in painting number one. The pink tone found throughout is pulled from the seasonal Cherry Blossoms that sprout from the branches of trees around Japan at only a very specific time of the year.
