As a nod to two original “Silver Bullet” and “Metallic Gold” colorways, Nike will be releasing a brand new “Metallic Pack” consisting of two Air Max 97s.

One comes dressed in Black/Metallic Silver and the other in a Black/Metallic Gold color scheme. Both are contrasted with Varsity Red accents on the Swoosh logo, heel tab and outsole, along with tonal branding on the tongues.

adidas Consortium Reveals Slam Jam Collection

European retailer Slam Jam has teamed up with adidas Consortium to release a two-sneaker collaboration for the month of November that consists of the 80s Superstar and POD S3.1.

First up is a new take on the ever-iconic 80s Superstar. The Slam Jam iteration is a masterclass in minimalism, offset by distinctive detailing. The instantly-recognizable shelltoe of the Superstar is here presented in an entirely smooth leather, while the heel panel is entirely blacked out. This refined approach is offered a subtle counterpoint by the introduction of asymmetrical, zig-zagging stitches on the shoe’s lateral.

The second style sees Slam Jam applying a similar aesthetic approach to a very different type of shoe. The POD S3.1 is a contemporary running-inspired style that offers an evolved take on 90s style cushioning. Boost technology is utilized on the heel where it matters most and a ‘Point of Deflection’ bridge offers the perfect midpoint between stability and flexibility for a lifestyle shoe.

The Slam Jam version is presented in an understated colorway of Whites and Creams, rendered across uppers that move between snug neoprene and soft leather. One of the most hyped Nike SB Dunk Low releases was the Diamond Supply Co. “Tiffany” colorway that dropped back in August of 2005.

A couple days ago the brand’s founder Nicky Diamonds previewed what possibly could be his next collaboration with Nike Skateboarding. This “Black Diamond” iteration sports an all-Black look built with premium leather. Other details includes a Silver and Aqua detachable velcro Swoosh logos with hidden “Diamond” branding on the heels. A White midsole and Black rubber outsole completes the design.
