Seoul-based designer KIMHĒKIM’s collaboration with ASICS on the GEL-Nimbus 10.1 channels the brand’s romantic flair and meshes it with ASICS’ performance technology. The three-color pack, which was originally previewed on the runway of KIMHĒKIM’s Spring/Summer 2026 presentation, will be available in Black, White and Grey.

The designer’s signature heart shape is featured prominently on the tongue and heel of each model, nodding to KIMHĒKIM’s penchant for couture-inspired storytelling centered around love. Glossy patent overlays and mesh uppers add texture and shine while the GEL midsole ensures maximum comfort.

The Black pair is polished and head-turning, while the White GEL-Nimbus is a minimalist standout featuring translucent midsoles. The Grey colorway is the most eye-catching, accented by a light-reflective iridescent sheen.

Kicking It x adidas Gazelle Indoor “Live Music” Honors Austin’s Soulful Sound

Austin’s Kicking It has teamed up with adidas for a new Gazelle Indoor “Live Music” sneaker.

Inspired by the city’s vibrant music scene and local landmark Antone’s blues club, where legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ray Charles used to perform, the sneakers feature a teal suede upper that pays homage to the Muddy Waters mural on the side of the Kicking It storefront, a symbol of hope and perseverance for the brand during the pandemic.

Attention to detail is at the forefront of every aspect of the sneaker. Details like guitar pick heel patches and string texture stripes along the sides pay homage to the city’s music culture, while maroon and yellow details represent Huston-Tillotson University, the alma mater of Kicking It founder Dr. Gregory Grovey II. Metallic “512” lace dubraes are a nod to Austin’s area code.

The collaboration is also community driven, with part of the proceeds going to music scholarships at East Texas University for members of the school’s jazz band. Kicking It will also host an in-store drop and free concert with J. Soulja and The Keezy Experience at the Antone’s venue.

Sneaker Politics is teaming up once again with ASICS, this time on a soulful GEL-K1011 “Live Oak” inspired by Louisiana’s enduring natural beauty. Following their memorable GEL-Kayano 14 “Just Say No” collab, this project dives deeper into storytelling rooted in community pride.

Originally revived through a Gallery Dept. partnership in 2024, the GEL-K1011 is an under-the-radar gem blending design DNA from the GEL-Kayano 5, 6, and 10, paired with a GEL-Cumulus 17 midsole for balanced comfort and structure.

Inspired by the state tree, the Live Oak, with its storied history of survival in both tempests and hardship, the color palette is a natural, earthy greens and browns on the textured suede and mesh upper, accented by cool blues and a sunny yellow that symbolizes rebirth. The combination of rugged textures and organic tones makes the “Live Oak” the most down-to-earth ASICS collab to date.

Original Story 4/24/25:
The Fragment x Union x Air Jordan 1 2026 is a collaboration between Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design, Chris Gibbs’ Union LA, and Jordan Brand. These three major players have produced some of the most significant sneakers in recent years.

The color blocking is reminiscent of Fragment’s iconic Air Jordan 1 2014, also called “The Black Toe” style. It features Union’s iconic zigzag stitching for a more artisanal touch, and the co-branded insole features technical drawings reminiscent of the original Air Jordan 1’s sketch. A perfect blend of past and future for this collaboration.

I like the overall subtlety of the palette. It feels somewhat easy to wear while still having enough narrative for sneaker collectors. Based on Union and Fragment’s past collabs, I am assuming this drop will be hard to get.

Jayson Tatum’s latest signature sneaker from Jordan Brand is very much a story about overcoming. This Jayson Tatum x Jordan World Tour Pack, available in both the Tatum 4 and Air Jordan 11 Low IE, takes on themes of resilience during a time when the Celtics star struggled with injury.

Similar to last year’s Tatum 3 “World Tour”, this new pack of signature footwear for Tatum combines purpose and a personal narrative. Air Jordan 11 Low IE utilizes a clean color scheme with white and Sail with pops of an electric cerulean Jumpman. Those icy blue pops are repeated in the Tatum 4, which shares a similar color story in addition to premium tumbled leather uppers to join the silhouettes together.

Performance is still at the forefront of the Tatum 4. Jordan Brand improved the silhouette by adding Strobel S-seams, Cushlon 3.0 foam, and forefoot Zoom Air to enhance responsiveness when he needs to explode in a single direction. The TPU shank plate has also been redesigned to provide a more stable feel — which is necessary for someone returning from a severe injury. That’s the kind of design and engineering sneakerheads obsess over.

Internationally, the “World Tour” theme will take fans around the world, with only being released in cities as emblematic of Tatum’s global impact: St. Louis, London, Tokyo, and Shanghai. In areas surrounding TOKYO 23, the October 23rd will be your release date.

Specific global drop dates have not been announced yet, but this partnership embodies Tatum’s fashionable style and on-court performance, and what he’s had to overcome off the court.

Adidas has released two colorways for its ClimaCool line – “Wonder Taupe” and “Grey.” The futuristic silhouette comes in both a Laced and Laceless form.

Light and airy, each shoe features the breathable 3D-molded shell that visually sets it apart. The porous upper is built to encourage air flow from every direction to maintain a high level of comfort. Discreet Three Stripes branding adds a touch of contrast to the otherwise smooth and tonal silhouette.

New Balance is keeping the retro release train coming with the New Balance 204L “Silver Metallic” Pack. This release sees running-inspired silhouettes in Black and Garter Snake shades. Constructed of mesh and synthetic overlays, the sneaker is dressed in metallic-finish materials.

Weathered midsoles and vintage accents give the sneaker a well-worn aesthetic and feel similar to New Balance’s Y2K era track shoe designs. Kith x NFL “Road to Victory” Celebrates Giants’ 35th Anniversary Triumph

Kith has collaborated with the NFL for the third installment of its Road to Victory capsule collection, commemorating the 35th anniversary of the New York Giants’ Super Bowl victory in 1991 over the Buffalo Bills. The capsule sports the Giants’ journey to that victory through the playoffs, while also nodding to the Bears, 49ers, and Bills along the way.

Curated with the Football Greats Alliance, the collection also honors NFL legends Jerry Rice, Lawrence Taylor, Mike Ditka, and Jim Kelly. Pieces include Vintage Tees, Bomber Jackets, and Sweaters with the players’ names in bold team colors, appliqué patches, and intricate ’90s inspired embroidery.

The latest step on their journey toward DIY success is a capsule with adidas Originals.

Friends & Family exclusive DIOS x adidas Superstar is a collaborative take on the sneaker’s 55th anniversary silhouette, redesigned with a chopped shell-toe, canvas 3-Stripes, contrast stitching, and DIOS branding on the tongue, heel, and hangtags. LE$ and Casanova have dubbed the project “Homies & Familia.”

The adidas Superstar Breathe gets a bespoke touch with CLOT‘s new “Patchwork” edition.

Drawing from a Chinese “Baijia Bu” (“hundred families’ cloth”) philosophy that preaches unity in diversity, the release unifies a patchwork of textures and materials into a single, harmonious whole. Hand-assembled, each pair is a one-of-a-kind collage, with different sections of corduroy, suede, houndstooth knit and tumbled leather.

Earthy orange and green hues give it a seasonal warmth, while the detail stitching along the Three Stripes call attention to the artisanal construction. Made using leftover materials from CLOT’s previous adidas collaborations, the sneaker is an environmentally sustainable style with significant heritage value.
