Nike Basketball will be celebrating some of the most memorable dunk moments while introducing their newest performance silhouette, the Nike AlphaDunk.

This offering is a nod to Vince Carter’s Olympic Games Dunk of Death moment, when he jumped over 7-foot-2 Frenchman Fredrick Weis.

Dressed to match the USA uniforms, the shoe features a handful of special detailing that includes printed insoles reading, “Dunk of Death.” Other callouts is a USA badge on the right shoe’s medial heel, while having similar stitching on the heel overlay as a nod to Carter’s Nike Shox BB4 silhouette that he wore during the Sydney Olympics.

Nike AlphaDunk Pure Magic Black Photo Blue BQ5401-002 Release Date

Nike Basketball will soon be debuting their newest performance silhouette, the AlphaDunk, which uses design cues from the Hyperdunk line. Some of their early lineup will be honoring the Swooshes most memorable dunk moments.

This offering of the Nike AlphaDunk is a perfect nod to Aaron Gordon’s All-Star Dunk. Dressed in a Magic-themed color scheme, the shoe introduces an Air Knit, which is similar to Battleknit material used on LeBron line. Other details includes a suede heel panel, pull tab, large Swoosh wrapping the heel, and visible Zoom Air in the forefoot.

Other notable details that references back to Gordon’s epic dunk is its insole that reads, “Pure Magic: The First of it’s Kind,” and a retro “Flight” branding stitched in White on the heel. A translucent outsole completes the design.

Jordan Brand and Travis Scott have collaborated on two variations of the Air Jordan 1 silhouette, an Air Jordan 1 High OG and an Air Jordan 1 Low.

Travis Scott’s take on the Air Jordan 1 came constructed in premium Sail leather and Dark Mocha nubuck with Black accents. Each pair is completed with Scott’s “face” logo embossed on the heels and a “Cactus Jack” logo on the right insole.

The Air Jordan 1 Low comes with a reverse Swoosh and Cactus Jack logos constructed in premium nubuck with Black and Brown tones. Red accents are seen on the tongue tags, embroidered heel logos atop a Sail midsole.

Nike Basketball designed a special edition “Skills Academy” colorway of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s first signature shoe, the Zoom Freak 1.

This iteration of the Nike Zoom Freak 1 features a clear translucent upper with a mix of Green and Orange on its base. A Navy tone covers the tongues, laces, and heel highlighted with iridescent detailing on the Giannis Antetokounmpo’s “GA” logo and oversized reverse Swoosh logo. A Black midsole with scattered-multicolored numbers and letters atop an Orange outsole completes the design.
