Not every adidas drop needs a track, pitch, or hardwood floor behind it. This time, the brand heads somewhere more unexpected, turning three archive-based designs into a bowling-inspired lineup built around the adidas Bowling Shoe Collection.

What makes this set work is that each pair still feels tied to its own lane. Cream leather gives the adidas Anfu Bowling a clean, understated look, while tonal laces and matching stripes keep everything tight and uniform. Then adidas adds just enough contrast with gold details, burgundy lining, and a polished sole that plays directly into the old-school bowling feel.

The adidas Changle Bowling goes in a softer, more styled direction. Brown leather handles most of the upper, but the pink touches across the tongue, lining, eyestay, and stripes shift the mood right away. Gold branding sharpens things up, and the suede heel panel keeps the pair from looking too flat or too simple.

Elsewhere, adidas imbues the Predator Bowling with the most attitude. Gasol has often described Kobe as more than a teammate, calling him the closest thing to an older brother. Their connection played a key role in the Los Angeles Lakers’ championship runs, but it also carried into real life. Following Kobe’s passing, Gasol has remained closely tied to the Bryant family, honoring his promise to support and mentor Kobe’s daughters.

Every year, once the temperature starts creeping up, Nike goes back to the pairs people actually wear. This time, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Two Tone” Pack shows up with six clean colorways that do not mess with the formula too much, which is probably the whole point.

The silhouette remains consistent from crown to sole. Every colorway sticks to a white leather upper, white laces and white midsole. The hue is applied to the small areas like the heel tab, shoe lining, leather tongue tag, and trim surrounding the Swoosh. It isn’t over-the-top, and that is exactly what allows the AF1 pack to maintain its effortless aesthetic.

Pink Foam feels the softest because it swaps the usual white for Sail and mixes in light pink hits. World Indigo goes cooler with a pale blue-purple finish, while Barely Green keeps things light and fresh without trying too hard. Light Crimson is the loudest one here, Rust Factor brings a warmer orange tone, and Medium Olive rounds out the group with the most laid-back look.

Wrapped in layers of neon green, the low-top basketball shoe mixes multiple shades across the upper, midsole, and outsole for a full slime-inspired look. The PUMA MB.05 Low “Slime” takes things to the texture side as well with contrasting engineered mesh and graphical elements on the toe and lateral panels. Jagged overlays and uneven-edge accents take things to the next level for the mutated grimace as well.

Beyond just the color you’ll also find personality in the lace loops covered in text. Grooves and curvature ride through the sculpted midsole to give the sides walls some definition as well. One detail still up in the air is the heel branding, as it has not yet been confirmed whether Jordan Brand will go with the original Jumpman logo or switch things up with Nike Air.

The timing also lines up perfectly. A 2027 return would mark 20 years since the sneaker first released, giving Jordan Brand another strong anniversary retro to build around.

Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” Returns Spring 2027

Jordan Brand is bringing back one of its most important originals. The Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is expected to return in Spring 2027, adding another major retro to an already loaded lineup and giving longtime fans a colorway that rarely loses momentum.

First released in 1991, the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” remains one of the most recognizable shoes in the model’s history. Its bold mix of White, Carmine Red, and Black helped separate it from other early Air Jordans, while its place in the championship era only added to its legacy. Over the years, the pair has returned in different forms, including the 2008 Countdown Pack, a standalone retro in 2014, and most recently in 2021.

For 2027, early expectations point to a familiar setup that stays close to the original. That means a White leather base, Carmine nubuck overlays, Black accents on the tongue and midsole, and Nike Air branding on the heel. Other classic details should also return, including the lace lock, visible Air unit, and translucent outsole.

Because the 2021 pair dealt with some quality concerns, there will be extra attention on how this version is executed. Even so, demand should be strong from the start. The “Carmine” Jordan 6 has always been one of those releases that speaks for itself.
