Nike has given the Dunk a luxurious and feminine makeover with the “Soft Pearl” Dunk Low. The silhouette incorporates nostalgic design elements with high-end materials and an eye-catching Jewel Swoosh.

Willy Chavarria is the latest designer to put his spin on the adidas Forum ’84 with his dark, architectural take.

The classic silhouette of the adidas Forum ’84 High has been updated by Chavarria on the back half of the shoe. A flattened strap, chopped heel counter and reconfigured paneling give the classic a new look while still maintaining its OG character.

Details like the use of high-end materials (suspected to be a suede and smooth leather) and the branded “Chavarria” label stamped on the strap and tongue elevate the sneaker. The muted color palette of dark grays and black are subtle yet carry a certain sturdiness that is synonymous with Chavarria’s unique blend of streetwear and high fashion.

The mysterious Swoosh-and-triangle tags from Yeat’s Lifestyle Corp brand set off speculation, and now early images confirm that the Portland rapper is stepping into his first official Nike partnership.

The Grateful Dead x Oregon Ducks x Nike Air Max 90 “Grateful Ducks” is without a doubt one of the most bizarre collabs of the year. Pairing the mind-bending psychedelia of the Grateful Dead with the spirit and pride of the University of Oregon, Nike has captured both counterculture and college basketball in one Grateful Ducks Air Max 90.

This sneaker pays tribute to the Dead’s 2020 SB Dunk Low collaboration while weaving in the Ducks’ iconic green and yellow. According to Brendan Dunne on X, Christian Tresser is rejoining the footwear giant under the Jordan Brand umbrella as a senior expert designer, where he will focus on speed-to-market footwear design and development. He made the official announcement on social media, posting a photo of himself in front of the Michael Jordan Building at the Nike World Headquarters.

The Air Max 97 designer helped put the final touches on Nike’s late-’90s running era, mixing futuristic lines and bold colorways with masterful, layered silver waves. He also gained attention at Reebok prior to his run at Nike, producing such classics as the Aztrek and DMX Daytona. Later in his career, Tresser was at adidas, working on the Yeezy 700 MNVN series from 2020 to 2023, so he certainly hasn’t been resting on his laurels.

Now, the Christian Tresser Nike return is a sign that things are about to get interesting under the Jordan Brand umbrella as Tresser is tapped to work on a series of performance and lifestyle projects.
