Pharrell’s Reebok BBC Ice Cream Board Flip Returning In Its “Watermelon” Colorway

Pharrell Williams and Nigo’s BBC Ice Cream Board Flip is finally making a comeback. A highly-identifiable silhouette from the creative duo’s Reebok collaboration in the early-2000s, the model resurfaces in the “Watermelon” colorway.

First dropped in the height of the surf/skate wave, the Board Flip carried a sense of high fashion streetwear and practical skate elements that epitomized Pharrell’s output in the early 2000s. Signed to Reebok’s BBC Ice Cream line, the silhouette received particular attention for its pastel colorways, loud branding, and playful graphics. Pharrell enlisted industry insider Nino Scalia to curate a legitimate skate team to wear the sneaker, with notables like Terry Kennedy and Jimmy Gorecki that would solidify the legacy.

The 2025 retro will be embodying the same spirit. The upper is green suede with pink overlays and a white leather tongue, with brown midsoles and the iconic Ice Cream “drippy cone” logo embroidered on the heel. The one and only Jimmy Gorecki himself recently took to Instagram to hint at the shoe.

As more and more of the Y2K skate silhouette are becoming popular again, the Reebok BBC Ice Cream Board Flip couldn’t feel more in-tune. The shoe combines throwback nostalgia while feeling relevant to today’s streetwear culture, as well as its influence in showing people the playful side of sneaker culture.

Look for the Reebok Ice Cream Board Flip “Watermelon” retro to drop late 2025 or early 2026 through BBC Ice Cream and Reebok.
