Air Jordan 6 OG “Infrared” Will NOT Return in 2026

The Air Jordan 6 OG “Infrared” is reportedly set to return in Spring 2026, celebrating its 35th anniversary. This iconic sneaker played a historic role in basketball, as Michael Jordan wore it when he won his first NBA Championship in 1991 against Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers.

First released in 1991, the Air Jordan 6 was designed by Tinker Hatfield. The sneaker’s sleek, aerodynamic build was inspired by Jordan’s love for sports cars.
