Jordan Brand is set to release an alternate “Fire Red” colorway of the Air Jordan 3 as part of their Summer 2020 lineup.

Dressed in a White, Fire Red, and Black color scheme. This Air Jordan 3 features a White leather upper with raw denim-finished elephant print inspired by Japan on the heel, toe and eyestay. The model features a translucent Nike Air and Jumpman heel tabs and comes in special denim elephant-print packaging.

There will also be a Japan-exclusive pair that will be releasing that comes with Japanese branding on the translucent heel tab and CO.JP branded insoles.

UPDATE 6/14: There are two Air Jordan 3s known as SE and SE-T set to release in August dressed in a White/Black-Fire Red color blocking. Here is a first look at what appears to be the “SE” version that features a White leather base with denim elephant print overlays, Black detailing, Fire Red on the Jumpman tongue and collar, a clear translucent heel tab atop a solid White rubber sole. UPDATE 5/9: This year’s Air Jordan 3 SE “Fire Red” is expected to release in two different versions similar to last year’s “Red Cement” Air Jordan 3. The shoe is expected to look like the original “Fire Red” release, but will feature a translucent heel tab incorporating both Jumpman and Nike Air branding.

Nike Introduces Their Newest Training Model

Nike introduces their latest version of the Metcon sneaker that will be available for both men and women.

Much like the previous renditions, the Nike Metcon 6 is designed specifically for athletes that have extreme workouts. The shoe has been reworked to provide better ventilation than its predecessors by adding breathable mesh to its upper. Nike also introduced the Metcon 6 FlyEase shown below, that features a collapsible heel counter for athletes of all abilities. Both version are completed with drop-in midsoles for stability atop a directional outsole for traction.

Japanese retailer atmos adds to their “Animal Pack” with an exotic adidas ZX 8000 release for this summer.

Much like the Alkyne, this offering of the ZX 8000 is covered in luxurious animal prints inspired by zebras, tigers ,leopards, panthers, and snakes. Other details includes Orange contrasting accents, reflective detailing, speckled midsoles atop a Gum rubber outsole. Three sets of laces and co-branding on the insoles completes the design.

Concepts and New Balance Reveals 327 “Cape” Collaboration

Concepts New Balance 327 Cape Release Date

Joined together by a shared Boston heritage, Concepts and New Balance design teams drew inspiration from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, an area known for its scenic cranberry bogs. This New Balance 327 plays on the beloved cocktail named after the region, the “Cape Codder,” or more widely known as a Vodka Cranberry.

Introducing a vibrant update to a timeless classic, the Concepts x New Balance 327 sneaker features a Cranberry colored suede and nylon upper, along with a gradient back-print TPU N logo. Custom co-branding is found on the tongue and insole. The brands opted for a Green molded EVA midsole to signify the lime in the drink and a translucent ice Blue rubber outsole, a first-time treatment for the 327 silhouette. This brand new, full heel-to-toe transparent sole drives Concepts’ contemporary perspective to the otherwise nostalgic silhouette, speaking to the brand’s storytelling at the past and future of sneaker culture.

On the collaboration, Deon Point, Creative Director of Concepts said, “The partnership with New Balance is constantly evolving. We’ve enjoyed bringing energy to new silhouettes, with the 327 grabbing our attention upon first reveal.”

PUMA has announced the launch of J. Cole’s first signature basketball sneaker, the RS-Dreamer.

J. Cole was intimately involved in the new franchise, from initial inspiration to the final design. This first signature basketball sneaker is intended to be worn both on and off the court – equipped with the latest technology while having a fashion-forward and disruptive design. Adding to the latest Stussy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon collaboration will be two renditions of the Air Zoom Spiridon (KK) Kukini.

The latest shoe takes design elements from the Kukini silhouette with its web-like overlays on the mesh upper. Stussy branding on the tongue paired with similar tooling as the Air Zoom Spiridon completes the design.
