New Balance 9060 Goes For A Bred Inspired Colorway

The New Balance 9060 “Black/Red” is a contemporary update that channels retro Bred vibes for the streets.

Bold sneakers that blend the brand’s running history with attitude-laden basketball red, this pair is classic nostalgia in fresh form.

Crafted with a black mesh upper and layered suede overlays, the shoe creates dimension and depth. The signature “N” logo, tongue tag, and heel clip are accented with red outlines and a side stripe, giving a subtle callback to the OG Black/Red colorway that has resonated with sneakerheads for decades.

Performance comfort is kept elite with ABZORB and SBS cushioning technologies for a plush and futuristic chunkiness. The split midsole and stance take cues from early 2000’s New Balance performance sneakers, but are undeniably current.

Available Fall 2025, the New Balance 9060 “Black/Red” will be $150 USD, purchasable at NewBalance.com and select retailers.

New Balance 1000 “Black/Blue” Returns With Retro Tech Style

The New Balance 1000 “Black/Blue” is a welcome comeback for one of the brand’s most underrated silhouettes. Debuted in the late ’90s, the trainer was an ode to Y2K performance aesthetics that we are now seeing re-emerge in lifestyle sneakers.

For this update, New Balance layers black leather and breathable mesh, lifted with metallic silver accents and vibrant blue color blocking. The oversized “1000” embroidery and the brand’s signature “N” logo are on point for technical sneakerheads. Plus, reflective trims and the sculpted chunky midsole add functional style for street-ready comfort.

New Balance continues to blur the boundaries of sport and lifestyle with this drop, which has been a winning formula across other recent models like the 9060 and 2002R. That formula of layering performance and nostalgia? It’s why sneakerheads keep their eyes peeled for more from the 1000.

The New Balance 1000 “Black/Blue” will release Fall 2025 at a price of $150 USD via NewBalance.com and select retailers.

Refined gold-foil branding on the heel and texturized tongue are classic “Three Stripe” details with a contemporary upgrade that’ll appeal to today’s lifestyle athletes. While the silhouette nods to the adidas SL 72’s 1970s running heritage, the zebra patterning boldly modernizes the shoe.

Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Better With Time” Sample Surfaces

This unreleased Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Better With Time” Sample from 2023 has resurfaced for sneakerheads to gaze at in awe. Posted by @davidsgrails on Instagram, this rare high-top would’ve preceded the 2025 Air Jordan 1 Low “Better With Time” but never saw the light of day as just a sample.

The high-top is constructed with a distressed black leather upper, off-white distressed Swooshes, and antiqued midsoles, which are perched on a maroon outsole. Small embroidered Swooshes are placed on both sides of the lateral toe boxes. On the collar, there is an inside embroidery referencing Sylvester’s cycling history which reads, “Jordan Biking Co. Est. 2017.” The bumps, creases, scuffs, and bleached panels further continue the narrative of Nigel’s “lived in” aesthetic.

In stark contrast to the 2018 “Sail” release, this pair swaps the colorway – exchanging white for black with a similar distressed look. Finding a sweet spot between the 2018 high and 2025 low, it begs the question if Jordan Brand erred by shelving this release.

For the time being at least, the sample will have to be just that – a historical artifact of sneaker culture – evidence that Nigel Sylvester’s collaboration with Jordan Brand is only growing in stature, just like his signature style of storytelling: “Better With Time.”

Nike World Headquarters Renamed Philip H. Knight Campus

Nike today announced that the company’s World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon will officially be known as the Philip H. Knight Campus. The new name honors Nike co-founder and Chairman Emeritus Phil Knight, and marks the first time in the campus’ 35-year history that its name has changed. The move is a testament to the lasting legacy of Knight’s belief in building an audacious brand and taking risks on innovative ideas that have built Nike into the global cultural institution it is today.

The rechristening of Nike’s flagship campus was announced by President and CEO Elliott Hill in an address to employees, on the one-year anniversary of his appointment to the role. In his letter to employees, Hill underscored that the campus renaming is more than just a change of name: it is a reflection of the same spirit of curiosity, questioning and determination that Knight and his original team of designers and collaborators brought to the company’s creation. “This is who we are,” Hill wrote in his letter. “This is the story of what happens when belief and action meet.”

The campus opened in 1990 and has since housed Nike’s R&D, design, brand and corporate teams. Occupying 400 acres in Beaverton, Oregon, the original campus is known for its moniker, “The Shoe Campus”, and includes building names that honor Nike-adjacent athletes that have been pivotal in Nike’s history and success, such as Michael Jordan, Steve Prefontaine, Joan Benoit Samuelson, Serena Williams, and LeBron James.

Over the next year, the Philip H. Knight Campus name will be updated on wayfinding, branding, and internal materials. A campus dedication ceremony will be held in Spring 2026.

Rick Owens x Dr. Martens Fall 2025 Collection Brings Bold Platform Boots To Life

Rick Owens has teamed up with Dr. Martens for Fall 2025 in a collection of three boots crafted in waxed black leather.

All three pairs rest on the audacious Quad platform sole, merging Owens’ gothic aesthetic with Dr. Martens’ punk attitude. Of note is the 1B60 Pentalace Boot which is knee-high and comes with a pentagram-inspired lace-up that encircles the whole upper.

The 1460 Megalace Boot reinterprets Dr. Martens’ flagship silhouette with elongated pearl laces that pass through metal eyelets. This lends an art-meets-industrial feel while retaining the original 1460’s tough spirit.

The third and final style is an updated take on Dr. Martens’ steel-toe that combines traditional workwear resilience with show-stopping wraparound laces. Each model also has side-zip entry, tall geometric tongues, and co-branded AirWair heel loops for added convenience and visual impact.

MENACE x adidas Superstar Honors LA Culture and Latino Heritage

adidas Originals has teamed up with Los Angeles streetwear brand MENACE to bring a fresh take on the Superstar.

Featuring textured suede uppers with embossed paisley designs, denim Three Stripes and high-end stitching, the new Superstar draws on Mena’s working-class background. The navy heel features embroidered “M” branding and is contrasted with the pink satin lining as a personal tribute to Mena’s mother and her favorite flower, the rose.

Pink itself is a reference to the mattresses Mena slept on as a child, and these personal details find their way into the narrative in subtle, emotional ways.

In addition to the shoe, the collaboration includes a short film directed by Mena himself, starring LAFC’s Denis Bouanga and LA Galaxy’s Riqui Puig.

FIRST LOOK: Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lower Merion Aces” (Home)

Nike is keeping Kobe Bryant’s legendary high school legacy alive by dropping the Nike Kobe Air Force 1 Low “Lower Merion Aces” (Home) in Spring 2026. This will be the second Kobe release in celebration of Kobe’s high school days following the release of the Kobe 5 “Lower Merion Aces”.

Before Kobe skipped college to enter the NBA Draft in 1996, he lit up the courts at Lower Merion High School as a member of the Aces in their signature white and burgundy uniforms. The same color palette is back here in a storytelling-driven Air Force 1 that serves as a tribute to the beginnings of the Black Mamba.

Made with white snakeskin-textured leather uppers to represent Kobe’s “Mamba” mentality, deep burgundy accents hit on the lining and outsole. Personal touches are littered across the shoe, including the number 33 (Kobe’s high-school jersey number) embroidered on the heel, and the spade logo on the insole and outsole (his team’s playing card emblem). Kobe’s sheath logo is also present near the heel and tongue to connect the story to his later Nike career.

The “Home” edition of the AF1 is clean and classic, but Nike will also be dropping an “Away” version in bright maroon. The two together tell the complete story of Kobe’s journey from Philly gym floors to global superstardom. This is the kind of symbolism that makes this project more than just another AF1.

UCLA Football Receives Exclusive Air Jordan PE Cleats For 2025 Season

UCLA has been officially added to the Jordan Brand’s 2025 player edition (PE) sneaker family, alongside schools like UNC, Florida, and Oklahoma, being given exclusive Air Jordan cleats to kick off the season.

The new UCLA cleats for the upcoming 2025 season are a two-piece pack, which include the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 1 Low. Each sneaker is styled in colorways of the program’s official colors, while incorporating a more clean and subtle style, for a sneaker fit for game day.

The Air Jordan 4 Cleat features a black nubuck upper, with light blue accents on the netting, wings, and heel branding, with UCLA’s cursive logo embroidered onto the left tongue. White laces and a pop of brighter blue on the cleat plate, is the final touch to the sneaker.

The Air Jordan 1 Low Cleat takes a different route, with the basketball silhouette on a black and grey elephant print base, with baby blue accents on the Swoosh, Wings logo, and outsole. These sneakers feature various textures, including synthetic satin, matte overlays, to achieve the sharp, yet subtle take on the AJ1, staying true to the classic lifestyle roots of the sneaker.

The PE’s for UCLA lack the well-known gold color most commonly associated with the program, however, this “UNC-style” of colorways allows for a sleek, yet modern look. A look that is both retro and contemporary, for the brand’s ongoing PE series which often collides collegiate spirit with Jordan performance heritage.

In the months ahead, we can look forward to additional releases from the Jordan Brand’s PE family from other Jordan-sponsored football programs, all while continuing to elevate the Jumpman’s already rich relationship with college athletics.

Grand Collection x New Balance Numeric 770 Blends Skate Precision With Minimalist Style

New Balance Numeric is turning to collaborations in order to advance skate footwear with their well thought out and purpose-driven releases. After the successful 993 with Andrew Reynolds, the brand continues to rework the 770—a cross-training staple with a newly built pedigree on the board—with New York’s Grand Collection. The label steps in to deliver an elevated, minimal effort that does the best thing possible for the shoe.

On display with Grand’s August runway show was an interpretation of the 770 that encapsulates the label’s “beauty in simplicity” approach. The signature multi-panel overlays are omitted, allowing a more streamlined, all-leather construction in tonal Black and White options to take the spotlight. Both styles are marked with Grand detailing on the heel and tongue, and a subtle embossed “N” logo is printed along the side, in lieu of a large visual punch.

The collection captures Grand’s archival styling along with New Balance’s engineering legacy, all with a level of detail that matches each brand’s standard for quality. It’s also not without some degree of restraint, a characteristic that is highly welcomed by skaters looking for anti-hype releases.

The Grand Collection x New Balance Numeric 770 will be available October 15th, 2025, on grandcollectionco.com. A global drop will follow soon after on NewBalance.com.

Nike Dunk Low SE “Wolf Grey” Now Available (October 2025)

UPDATE 10/14/25: The “Wolf Grey” Dunk Low SE is now available on Nike.com.

Original Story 7/15/25:
Nike is keeping things understated this Fall with the upcoming Dunk Low SE “Wolf Grey”. Built for fans of clean colorways, this version ditches bold palettes in favor of a soft, tonal look.

The upper is fully dressed in a Wolf Grey suede that creates the subtle contrast throughout the shoe. Instead of the typical flat laces, Nike switches things up with rope-style laces.

Another notable change is the sole. Rather than the usual gum rubber finish, Nike goes all-in on the greyscale theme with matching grey outsoles. Branding stays minimal too, with stitched Swooshes and a soft “NIKE” logo at the heel in the same tone.

The Nike Dunk Low SE “Wolf Grey” drops on October 14, 2025 for $120 USD. Men’s sizes will be available through Nike.com and select sneaker retailers.

While we’ve seen plenty of Dunk Low variations over the years, this one keeps things fresh without going over the top. It’s clean, versatile, and built for everyday wear—exactly what many Dunk fans have been asking for.

Grinch x Crocs Classic Clog Brings Holiday Mischief To Your Feet

Crocs is trying to steal Christmas—Grinch style with a brand-new holiday collaboration. Based on Dr. Seuss’s beloved character, The Grinch will be the star of the brand’s latest shoe, taking over the Classic Clog. Comfort and chaos collide on this festive footbed

The Grinch Classic Clog, which is due to release in December 2025, features the character’s fuzzy green fur across the shoe upper, while his cheeky embroidered smile peeks out from the green CrocsFoam. The interior is lined in a soft red fabric that’s reminiscent of Santa’s signature coat, while a removable Grinch hand clutching a red ornament is embroidered on the heel strap. Whether you’re rocking your clogs down the block or “in sport mode,” it’s hard to stay mad at the whimsical details.

The Grinch’s sneaker influence runs deep. Years before this Crocs collaboration, the Nike Kobe 6 “Grinch” was one of the most iconic basketball sneakers of all time, and the character has popped up in multiple adidas Forum Lo collabs since then. Crocs will now release its own take on the anti-holiday holiday classic, as well.

Look to purchase The Grinch x Crocs Classic Clog on Crocs.com and at select retailers worldwide before it drops this December 2025.
