The Nike Daybreak Type SE is all about bringing back the past. The Beaverton brand delivers a brand new take on heritage Nike running.

Inspired by some of the earliest Bowerman prototypes. This offering of the Nike Daybreak comes dressed in a Black, White, Grey Fog, and College Grey color scheme. Better Air Jordan 3 PE: “Oregon Pit Crew” or “Michigan”

The perks of being an athlete of schools sponsored by Nike/Jordan Brand are the player exclusive Air Jordans you receive. In this case, we take a look at Oregon Ducks’ “Pit Crew” and Michigan’s Air Jordan 3.

The Air Jordan 3 “Oregon Pit Crew” celebrated the University of Oregon student cheer section known as Pit Crew. It features a Black leather upper with elephant print designs on the mudguard and heel. Oregon’s “O” logo and duck foot motif are embroidered on the tongues and heels, respectively.

In 2017, Jordan Brand designed the Air Jordan 3 “Michigan” PE ahead of the Michigan Wolverines Outback Bowl game against South Carolina in Tampa, Florida on January 1, 2018. The shoe features a Navy leather upper with elephant print overlays and Yellow Maize accents. Giving the shoe its official player exclusive look is Michigan’s “M” block logo on the tongues.

The Nike SB Dunk High “Unlucky” released in July 2004 alongside an accompanying “Lucky” colorway, representing the two sides of fortune.

This “Unlucky” edition of the Nike SB Dunk High features a Black upper constructed in a mix of suede and leather with contrast Yellow stitching. The unlucky number “13” is embroidered on the lateral forefoot completed with a Black midsole and Red rubber outsole.

Social Status Releasing Limited The Whitaker Group x Nike Waffle One

Following the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3, another Whitaker Group retailer, Social Status, reveals that they’ll be releasing an exclusive colorway of the Nike Waffle One limited to only 500 pairs.

This special edition offering of the Nike Waffle One features a Red dyes on its mesh upper, synthetic underlays, and laces, along with Light Grey suede covering the overlays on the mudguard, eyelets, and heel. Other details include a Dark Grey translucency heel counter, Black Swoosh atop an aged-colored midsole for a vintage look and Black waffle rubber outsole. The shoe comes with special tissue paper featuring comic book-like graphics.

UPDATE 2/19: Designed by Frank Cooker, the Social Status x Nike Waffle One Whitaker Group exclusive is inspired by one of his favorite footwear stories of innovation and resourcefulness. Nike Dunk Low “Flip The Old School” Honoring 1999’s City Attack Pack

Much like they did with the Dunk High late last year, Nike will be releasing a new Dunk Low that is once again nodding to the color blocking of the “City Attack” pack from 1999.

In a similar design as the “Keep ‘Em Fresh” Air Force 1 Low, this Nike Dunk Low will also be wrapped in box tissue paper detailed with penciled illustrations honoring the original college colors campaign. Underneath, the Dunk Low features two mismatched colorways dressed in White and Purple with Gold branded tongues and flipped Swooshes. Each upper comes constructed in a mix of leather with ostrich leather overlays. The same graphics used on the tissue paper also appears on the insoles to complete the design.
