Following a few regional exclusive releases, as well as several colorful options, Pharrell Williams and adidas Originals will be taking their momentum into 2021 with many more NMD Hu pairs to come, including this new “Cream” colorway.

This offering of the adidas NMD Hu features a Cream-colored upper with ditches the mesh weaves for a ribbed finish. Black chenille is used on the signature inspirational message embroidered on the forefoot, while having Pink and Blue contrasting accents at the heel and front EVA insert overlay, respectively. A Cream Boost midsole, clear Brown lace cage, Black trail laces and rubber outsole completes the design.

PUMA Celebrates Black History Month With Black Fives Partnership

PUMA is celebrating Black History Month by highlighting the work of Black leaders, partners, and community organizations that continue to inspire and shape the future for generations to come.

To kick off the month, PUMA announces its latest partnership with Black Fives Foundation that will include various apparel and footwear collection including a special edition Clyde Mid colorway that features the foundation’s trademarked slogan “Make History Now.”

Set to launch later this year, The Black Fives Foundation’s Virtual Vault, presented by PUMA, will be an online portal for visitors to see, learn, and be inspired by the pre-NBA history of African American in basketball through nearly 1,000 artifacts in the Foundation’s archive. Items include vintage equipment, ticket stubs, game gear, images, scorecards, and more.

Throughout the month, PUMA will stand alongside athletes, ambassadors and partners by amplifying their voices and actions across various platforms in support of universal equality, justice, and acceptance for all.

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 6 in 2021, Jordan Brand will be bringing back the original “Carmine” Air Jordan 6.

The “Carmine” colorway made its debut back in 1991, and was the first Air Jordan 6 to have colored panels on the upper. They returned in the Countdown Pack in 2008, followed by its most recent appearance in 2014.

For its 2020 retro, the Air Jordan 6 will look exactly like they did back in 1991 in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the silhouette. They’ll come complete with its OG height and “Nike Air” on the heels.

Setsubun is the day before the beginning of spring in the old calendar in Japan. The name literally means “seasonal division”, referring to the day just before the first day of spring.

New Balance Unveils 2021 Black History Month Collection

In celebration and commemoration of Black History Month 2021, New Balance has officially unveiled their new “My Story Matters” collection of footwear and apparel. Designed entirely by the brand’s Black team members, the collection comes dressed in a mix of Tan, Purple and Burgundy color palette inspired by Sunday church services, and is centered around fresh takes on the 990v5 and 574.

The New Balance 990v5 is mostly dressed in Tan, with Regal Purple towards the heel and rich Burgundy used as trim on the midfoot and forefoot, while the New Balance 574 sports Purple suede towards its forefoot with Black and Gold hits on the midfoot and heel.

Dime x Reebok Extend Partnership With BB4000

Reebok and Montreal’s Dime have begun to share official details for their forthcoming Dime x Reebok BB4000, highlighting the next installment of the brands’ crossover partnership.

The release arrives strategically on the heels of the brands Fall ’20 partnership, which saw Dime put a street ready spin on Reebok’s classic Kamikaze II Low. For Spring ‘21, the Dime BB4000 style is presented uniquely with two iterative takes on the low-cut court model, one dressed in White/Navy and the other in Brown/Black. Both pay homage equally to Reebok’s traditional leather uppers and a skate-functional suede respectively, these materializations further cement and compliment the partnership.

Key to the model is the Dime “Restoration” woven tongue label graphic nodding to the world-famous painting and viral subject, “Ecco Hommo.”

As the story goes, in 2012, an amateur painter in Borja, Spain botched an attempt at restoring a beloved century-old fresco of Jesus (named “Ecco Hommo”) displayed at the historic community church. News of the inadvertent defacing spread quickly across the global web as the artwork-turned-viral-video-sensation became a tourist attraction bringing visitors to Borja from around the world.

Since then, Dime has taken the liberty of playfully adapting the follied painting and releasing versions of the “Restoration” graphic to consumers via an in-season printables collection, a toaster, puzzles and its newest application as a woven tongue label on the BB4000.

Nike reveals their first truly hand-free model called, the Nike Go FlyEase, making the days of using your hands to put on sneakers a thing of the past.

Using the latest advancement to the brand’s FlyEase tech, which was designed to help athletes of all capabilities get into their shoes, the Go FlyEase has a patent-pending bi-stable hinge and midsole tensioner that allow for hands-free entry. Its tensioner band is another signature details that holds the shoe open or closed when you’re ready wear or slide them off your feet.
