The One Piece x Nike project isn’t much of a secret anymore. Rumors about the collaboration started making the rounds late last year, and now .SWOOSH is dropping its own teasers. The Air Max Plus appears to be the shoe at the center of it, with Devil Fruits providing the theme.

One of Nike’s first clues was a Poneglyph carrying a Swoosh along with the words “ROMANCE DAWN.” That already pointed pretty heavily toward One Piece. The newest footage makes it even harder to miss, with Devil Fruit references showing up throughout the teaser.

There are callbacks to the Mera Mera no Mi as well as Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Mi. You don’t really get a clean look at the shoes yet, though. A few Air Max Plus pairs can be seen on foot, but Nike is still keeping most of the details hidden. So far, three colorways are expected.

This also isn’t .SWOOSH’s first trip into anime. Nike recently linked up with Yu-Gi-Oh! for an Air Max 95 project, and One Piece now looks to be next in line.

The One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus “Devil Fruits” Collection does not have a release date yet. More details should start coming out as Nike continues teasing the project.
