With weeks away from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We take a look at two Olympic Air Jordan 6 colorways from the past for you to judge.
Kicking things off with the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Olympic Flag” colorway that originally debuted on June 7th, 2008 and retailed for $150. Dressed in the colors of the five Olympic Rings to honor the 2008 Summer Olympic in Beijing.
Next was the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Olympic” that was originally debuted back in 2000 and later returned in 2012. Dressed in a White and Midnight Navy leather upper with Varsity Red accents finished with an icy sole.
Lastly, we take a look at the “Golden Moments” Air Jordan 6 that released alongside the Air Jordan 7 as a nod to the Summer’s Olympic celebration in 2012. They came dressed in a clean White leather upper with Metallic Gold accents throughout. Additional features included Red branding, White lace toggles and an icy translucent sole.
