Rafael Nadal Releasing His Own “What The” NikeCourt Shoe

Nike will be celebrating the 2019 French Open with a special version of the NikeCourt Cage 3 for Rafael Nadal.

This pair details from each of the shoes Rafa Nadal wore in his 11 career wins are incorporated into the Volt Glow/White colorway. A zipper shroud, nodding back to the Nike Air Zoom Flight, prevents clay from lodging into the shoe and the laces.

Here are all the shoes that he wore when he won his French Open title: the Nike Air Max Breathe Free II (2005), Nike Air Max Breathe III (2006), Nike Air Max Breathe Cage (2007), Nike Air Max Breathe Cage II (2008), Nike Air Max CourtBallistec 2.3 (2010), Nike Air Max CourtBallistec 3.3 (2011), Nike Air Max Court Ballistec 4.3 (2012-2014), Nike Lunar Ballistec 2 (2017), and Nike Air Zoom Cage III (2018).
