Months of previews have already put the LeBron 24 on the radar, and Nike Basketball is now ready to officially roll out LeBron James’ latest signature shoe. The first release comes in the “Stars” colorway, with the new model arriving lighter than anything previously made for the LeBron line.
The LeBron series was once known for bigger, heavier basketball shoes built around James’ powerful style of play. That approach has changed over time, and the LeBron 24 takes things even further. Nike calls it the lightest game shoe in LeBron’s signature history, using a new KingKnit upper that cuts down on weight while still providing breathability and support on the court.
React foam runs the full length of the removable drop-in midsole, backed by Air Zoom cushioning in the heel and forefoot. A midfoot shank adds stability, while the outsole uses a new traction pattern for grip during cuts and changes of direction.
Storytelling around the LeBron 24 will also move away from the career-retrospective approach used for the LeBron 23. Nike plans to build upcoming colorways around five themes connected to lessons from James’ life and career: Wonder, Family, Fear, Luck, and Discovery.
The “Stars” kicks off that series by looking back at the Shooting Stars, the AAU program James played for during his childhood. The team has surfaced as inspiration on LeBron footwear before, including several player-exclusive colorways over the years.
Look for the Nike LeBron 24 “Stars” to release November 17, 2026, through Nike and select retailers. The shoe will be available in adult and grade school sizes.
