Nike’s Lunar New Year releases don’t always look back. The Nike Shox Z “Year of the Horse” does, but carefully.

At first glance, it’s all black. Then the details start showing. The upper has a rough, almost sparkling texture that shifts as light hits it. Small pearl-like studs and crystal accents sit across the surface, spaced out, never loud.

The Swoosh doesn’t fight for attention. It’s glossy, blacked out, and tucked neatly into the side panel. Everything feels deliberate. Nothing feels added just to decorate.
