Inspired by the old Roller Derby skateboards, was the Nike SB Dunk Low “Roller Derby” release that debuted back in October 2011.
This “Roller Derby” edition of the Nike SB Dunk Low was designed by Germany’s Made for Skate as a nod to the skateboards of the 1950s. Dressed in a Varsity Red, Black, White and Wolf Grey color scheme. The shoe features a woodgrain and crackled leather upper that also includes suede detailing. A graphic of a girl on a roller derby deck is printed on the insoles, while the #10 is embroidered on the front.
