Nike and Hyperice are following the Hyperboot with something far easier to picture people wearing regularly. The Air Zoom Hyperslide puts heat and vibration into a recovery slide, bringing the treatment directly to the top of the foot instead of asking athletes to strap into a separate device.

The powered strap can heat up to 117 degrees and also delivers vibration to help loosen tight, tired feet. Full-length Air Zoom cushioning handles the underfoot comfort, which makes the slide useful before a workout, after training, or simply while sitting around between sessions.

Battery-powered footwear has produced mixed results for Nike over the years. The Adapt series was expensive and never moved much beyond the novelty of self-lacing, while the Hyperboot made more sense as a recovery product but cost close to $1,000. At $250, the Hyperslide is still expensive for a slide, though it is much closer to something an everyday athlete might actually consider.

Tobie Hatfield, Nike’s Senior Director of Athlete Innovation, said the goal was to create footwear that could start the recovery process as soon as it was switched on. That is really the whole idea here: put the slide on, turn it on, and let the heat and vibration get to work without adding another step to the routine.

The Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide will release September 29, 2026, in black and beige colorways through Nike.com, Hyperice, and select retailers worldwide. The retail price is set at $250.
