Nike Basketball is set to release a new colorway of Paul George’s PG 4 that nods to his nickname in China, Pickled Pepper.

This offering of the Nike PG 4 features a split vibrant Yellow and Orange tones throughout its mesh constructed upper paired with graphic tongues. Chinese characters embroidered onto the left heel atop a White midsole and Yellow/Orange rubber outsole completes the design.

Nike PG 4 Pickled Pepper Release Date

Look for the Nike PG 4 “Pickled Pepper” to release on August 15th in China at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $110 USD.

UPDATE 8/14: Nike has confirmed that this PG 4 known as “Pickled Pepper” nods to Paul George’s nickname in China due to the homophonic pronunciation of his name and the spicy pepper. The shoe will see a release on August 15th via SNKRS China along with matching t-shirts.
