LeBron James wore a pink LeBron 20 on the night he passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and the upcoming LeBron 23 “Hyper Pink” looks back at that moment. Frankie Walker, a longtime friend of James, recently shared new photos showing the pair from several angles.

Pink covers nearly the entire shoe, running across the upper, tongue, laces, midsole and outsole. Metallic Silver Swooshes provide the main contrast. The “20 x 23” lettering shown with the sneaker points to LeBron’s scoring record and helps explain the connection.

The colorway is close to the LeBron 20 player exclusive James wore in February 2023 when he became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. That shoe also resembled the LeBron 20 “Pink Diamond”, first worn during the Drew League in 2022 before Nike later released it to the public.

Without the extra details, the all-pink design could easily look like a breast cancer awareness colorway. In this case, the theme is tied to LeBron’s scoring milestone.

The Nike LeBron 23 “Hyper Pink” is expected to release in Fall 2026 through Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com. The men’s colorway will retail for $200.
