The Nike KD 9 Texas is the first Nike KD University of Texas-themed official shoe to hit global retail.
Debuting on the University of Texas men’s basketball team this Saturday, the Nike KD 9 “Texas” shoe pays homage to Kevin Durant’s beloved alma mater.
“Attending UT was one of the best experiences of my life and launching the Nike KD 9 back in Austin this past June reflects my love for the college experience I had 10 years ago,” says Durant.
This Texas-themed Nike KD 9 features an off-White Sail Flyknit upper with Burnt Orange contrasting accents, along with the number “35” on the tongue stitching. The heel tab also includes “Texas” that stays true to the theme.
Nike KD 9 Texas Release Date
Look for the Nike KD 9 “Texas” to release on March 10th, 2017 at select Nike Basketball retail stores, including Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.
