New York streetball has been part of Ja Morant’s Nike story before, and it returns on the upcoming Ja 4. Official images reveal an “NY vs. NY” colorway made for the city’s annual summer tournament.

The pair uses a purple-to-teal gradient across the upper, giving it a look similar to the previously revealed “Jaws” edition. Metallic red covers the reverse Swoosh and midfoot support piece, while tournament branding appears on the left tongue and right insole. Ja Morant’s logo fills the opposite sides.

Teal continues across the tongue, while custom “NY” lace dubraes add another detail connected to the tournament. Underfoot, white paint splatter spreads across the forefoot section of the outsole.

The Nike Ja 4 “NY vs. NY” is expected to release August 15, 2026, exclusively at Foot Locker stores, with a possible Nike.com launch as well. The men’s colorway will retail for $140.
