Nike is bringing the GT Future back in an all-black colorway for Holiday 2026, and the look actually connects to one of the first pairs people ever saw.
AJ Dybantsa wore a similar version during Nike’s Future Game at 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend, before the shoe had been officially introduced. Wale was also spotted in the model around that same time, which helped build some early curiosity around it. Nike later confirmed the GT Future uses full-length Zoom Strobel, forefoot Zoom Air, and Cushlon 3.0 cushioning.
Since then, a lot has changed. Dybantsa became the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, and the GT Future has become a regular part of Nike Basketball’s lineup.
The Holiday 2026 pair keeps things very simple. Black covers nearly the whole shoe, including the upper, laces, and sole, with no real contrast added anywhere else.
The Nike GT Future “Triple Black” is expected to release during Holiday 2026 for $210.
