Nike has revealed their Doernbecher Freestyle XIX Collection, showcasing six unique Nike sneakers, all crafted by inspiring OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital patients. Among them, the Nike Dunk High Doernbecher takes the spotlight.

While the sneaker designer remains a mystery, this Nike Dunk High boasts a color palette perfect for spring. Its White leather base offers breathability with toe box perforations. The textile overlays, found on the forefoot, tongue, and heel, feature an array of floral graphics. Lateral heels proudly bear embroidered commemorative ribbons, while the tongue label showcases a unique cookie graphic next to the iconic Swoosh logos. Pink accents on the eyestays, Swooshes, and inner lining complement the design, topped with a motivational quote – “she believed she could so she did,” inspired by the shoe’s creator.

The Nike Dunk High Doernbecher XIX releases on December 2, 2023 at select Nike Sportswear retailers in-store, online and Nike.com. Priced at $125 USD, this sneaker is bound to be a hit for spring.

Delving into Macey’s personal preferences, the tongue graphic features her cherished dessert, the chocolate chip cookie. For a delightful surprise, the inner tongue reveals Macey’s signature cookie recipe, thoughtfully included on a card accompanying the footwear.
