The Nike Cryoshot Tiempo 94 brings one of the brand’s most important football boots into a new lifestyle setting. After reworking classics tied to Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, Nike is now turning its attention to the original Tiempo Premier that helped establish the company as a serious name in soccer during the 1990s.
At the time, adidas and PUMA had a much stronger presence in the sport, but the tournament’s arrival in the United States gave Nike an opportunity to make a bigger push. Working with skilled bootmakers in Montebelluna, Italy, the brand developed the Tiempo Premier using premium kangaroo leather and a more refined build than many of its earlier soccer models.
Nine players from Brazil and Italy, the two teams that reached the 1994 World Cup Final, wore the Tiempo Premier during the tournament. That visibility gave Nike Football instant credibility and helped lay the groundwork for what the division would become.
For the Cryoshot version, Nike stays close to the Tiempo’s original look. Black leather covers the upper, while white Swoosh branding and matching heel details create the familiar contrast. White studs remain visible beneath a clear TPU frame, giving the lifestyle model a direct connection to the original cleat. Gold branding on the insoles and underneath the tongue finishes the design.
The Nike Cryoshot Tiempo 94 OG is expected to release during Summer 2026 in men’s sizing. Look for the pair at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com for $200.
