Original released in 1972 and was Nike’s first track shoe, the Cortez was designed by co-founder Bill Bowerman aiming to produce a comfortable and durable running shoe. With over 50 years worth of releases, the next women’s iteration of the silhouette comes with premium materials and includes removable patches.
This offering of the Nike Cortez appears to be part of a larger collection that also includes the recent revealed “Multi-Color” Dunk Low. It features a smooth leather base with weave tongues and dual-Swooshes, both arriving in stitched and textile materials. Other details includes Nike-branded studs, colorful “NIKE” heel embroidery, graphic “JUST DO IT” insoles along with a set of removable patches.
